    sassy- did you record your rain dance? If so would love to see it. 😃Curious to see if it works, have seen them done before and rain fall immediately or may take a while - hope it works!

    I tried to take the pic outside in front of this tree trunk carving which I call the 'Nymph'. But my inner voice said this is a disaster waiting to happen. I listened and went into the house.

    Sorry mags, still try to get a ct. Only test that showed for me. Even showed the narrowing of the sinuses, that's what causes nose running and tearing. My left opened up, but right is still constricted. When it gets constricted the fluid can't go into the body for absorption like it would normally, so it pours out the nose and eyes. You also get dry eye at the same time. Don't know if my eyes and nose will ever get better, but I know my lung got better from all the excercise. I don't know what you are able to do. But your pulmonary guy will know. Good luck to you :)

    Spookie, Sassy, Frey - This is the board I've been following since sometime in the winter. Prof and semi-prof meteorologists. Get in and crash around on it. Some well really most of the talk is way above my head but interesting anyway. Start with Forums, then Main Forums then go from there. They've really been very busy in this Invest.     Well the lol was not for the west coast. Sorry if it came off that way. Just meant that FL probably does not need the rain daince for it. I hope West Coasters get some rain soon.

    Mags - so sorry the chitty lung problems. Hope your PCP has some ideas. Do you have a pulmo referral too? Hope you are starting to get some cooler weather. Think we have fire danger today, wind is up some.

    hello ladies. Just a quick hello

    I usually read whats going on with y'all but feel to miserable to post when I am done. Was just starting to recover from surgery then had to go to mo office yesterday and all that walking got me flat again. Femara failed me after 2 years so started Falsodex shots yesterday and will start Ibrance Wed. Feeling hopeful with this new combo. Always glad to read aboutbyall to remember there is life outside BC and its many se.

    hootie hoo patty. Crossed fingers for new combo.

    Boyd. Crossed toes for benign results.

    Smarty. Yes stop at a grocery or spar or petrol station and get chocolate! Anything chocolate. I prefer cadburys or McVitties. Can't remember if timtams there but target has them stateside. Avoid the cheap chocolate.

    Spooks. Right now stuck on McVitties digestives and waiting for cooler weather to make snicker doodles. 100% humidity here. Ugh. Yes those Scottish tea cakes good. Kids liked them.

    Sas. Too funny. I love Aldi's. Produce awesome. Milk and eggs reasonable. Don't like their Italian sauce like on pizza. Chocolate good like Irish chocolate. I try to buy meat from local grocer. He buys the winning steer/sheep from fair. What do you put in the crockpot. I use it a lot too but it's mainly plain chicken.

    Rose that beach sounds like an Irish one. I miss it. The unstructured ness. Kids going pell mell with school.

    Goats. Twinnings sent me an email about new teas. May have to indulge. Nothing tastes right here. Might be time for new stuff.

    My turn to nap but nothing as nice as yours.

    Hi Patty- I did not realize you had surgery coming up. What is going on? Hard to do the doc visits after surgery, I hope you can rest to day and feel better. You have some new meds to help you also. Sending you hugs from the southwest.

    Goats, I understood the your comments LOL Yup, hopefully Ms. Sas did the right rain dance and that she didn't call upon the rain gods for more rain to Florida.

    Ms. CHEVY, are you done with putting the perennials in the ground? By the way, I don't pray for patience anymore because my patience always get tested when I do. Mom called me yesterday while I was at work. I could tell in her voice that she feels bad for forgetting her keys in the car again (fourth time in 2-3 years). I had to drive 15 miles home and then to the lab where she was waiting to get blood work done. My first instinct is to get upset, but I am so glad I didn't. It's not like she did it intentionally. She has not slept for days so she was not feeling well. How could I get mad? Little things here and there can test our patience. I'm grateful though that I still have the energy to help Mom. It would be nice if we get a long break in between the trials.

    Hi ladies- got my other car back today after the little hit and run fender bender and she looks good. Pleased with the repair and having it under uninsured motorist dropped the deductible right down. Repair was just a bit under $2K, and $250 out of pocket for me.

    Susan- I like that expression "god sets a banquet at the table for you even during the valleys." That is comforting. When I was going through treatment, I said the 23rd psalm constantly. Right before surgeries, during rads treatment, when I just purely felt scared. That psalm always has comforted me during the valleys. I still find myself saying it quiet often before bed time.

    How are the ladies here going through chemo? Frey? Marlanab?

    Blondie- you still lurking? Hoping you are having a decent day sister.

    I couldnt remember if I mentioned the surgery , guess not. Last Thur. Ifdr did some work on m back for pain relief. It's nothing haven't done in the past and I have gotten good results each time. It's just we did everything at once for 1 surgery 1 recovery. Sounded good at the time. Dr did 4 kyphos ( to repair fractures ), 4 rfas ( to burn nerves that send pain signals to brain) and 4 ablations( to freeze off one tumors that were pressing on spine). I spent 1 night in hospital for pain control. Still recovering. Thanks for the support ladies.

    Pretty quiet day here today. Hope its because y'all are out enjoying life.

    Patty-whew girlfriend, that is no small thing you went through with the vertebrae and spine. I am glad they kept you over night and hope whatever they gave you when they sent you home is helping you. Sending you love and healing energy sister.
