Eye doctor in the morning, so of course...

-
I just have to say great job Chevy. It really looks pretty. Hang in all.
-
Morning glories! Hah! Tricked you! Welcome to you new gals.... I had such a nice long post yesterday, and all of a sudden my computer went BLANK! I mean BLACK! And naturally when it came back on.......... no post! I won't do THAT again... I'll hit "submit" after 2 paragraphs...
Must have something to do with me downloading Windows 10 the day before! I couldn't wait...! I love that I can ask "Cortana" anything.... (she says)!!! She knew the temperature in Central City Co.! I mean FAST!
Spookie, I eat those Hemp Seeds.... I mix them along with Chia, Sesame, Flax into that goat-cheese, with seasoned salt! And then I have a few of my favorite crackers with that mix in the mornings! I was going to GROW some of the seeds, but it looks like they take over all surrounding areas!
I know you are thinking "that gal is nuts"............ But the "crackers" I use are just the BEST! And that's all the news for now.........

So glad that I stir up enough wind to bring some newbies in. This is a nice mixed pot, with size 0 to 4, can't remember which company has the same sizing chart. BTW, I am a 4, unfortunately!
Chevy, didn't Gypsy tell you not to jump to MS 10??! Now Chevy is a "cavy"! Hope that the only bad experience you will get from MS 10. Your parking really looks good. Why do you call it parking? You can't park your car there after such beautiful work done.
-
I have a friend that is OCD and whenever she comes to visit and stays with me, she has to clean out my fridge and cabinets of old food. I like that about her.
-
I want one of those friends.....
-
Loverly, the ring bearer will steal the show!!
-
EEEEEEEyore! Dagnabbit! It is called "Parking".... for I don't know why.... Because it runs along the street where you "park" your cars! NO! and I even added a "plant" out there this morning! Don't come around with your CAR, trying to park ON it! You park IN the street beSIDE it! Do I have to draw you a picture? No wait.... I TOOK one!
Yes that Gypsy DID tell me not to do it, but I went ahead and did it anyway.... Now she will never give me anymore advice... But SO far, it works great. And "Cortana" is there with me.... just WAITing for me to ask her something! Gypsy needs to make friends with her..........
And I do that when I go to Orlando to visit my Daughter! I turn her pantry up-side down.... But she tolerates me... I even made her a list, of what she needs to buy, what she has plenty of.... and what NEVER TO BUY AGAIN IN ALL HER BORNED DAYS! Like poultry-seasoning. She kept that list.
-
Ask Cortana to go tell the neighbors to get weeding Chevy.
-
Did any of you see the post about can cancer go away on its own? Apparently it can a woman on there tells how.
-
Chevyboy - I would never tell you not to do something. I just provided some criteria to help you make the decision. The important criteria for you was that you wanted to which was valid enough. No, I won't be making friends with Cortana anytime soon. I will replace my PC with a MacAir sometime this year. I promised my IT guy (hubby) that I would switch over once I retired. I needed a PC for work, but no longer. I'm ready for some changes in my life. I even disabled Siri on my iphone. She kept popping up when I tried doing other things. When I told her "go away" she gave me lip about being rude. Glad Windows 10 is working for you.
-
Oh Eeyore...size 4? I was size 0. Elated not for long, then was told I fit size 1. Walked away with missing part and no accessories. No complaints though...just grateful
-
Hi Gypsy! You are the one I forget to welcome. I was logged out of BCO the other day, but was still on Insomniacs thread . I was thinking to myself how am I going to remember all these people's names. The wind blew a lot of ppl in here. Then I realized I was at the very beginning of the thread( page 1) Whew
-
Boyd, which post are you referring to?
-
Thanks, LoverofLife! I was away on a long weekend trip so haven't been fully engaged. Time to tune back in! There is a lot of activity here!
-
Oh Jazzy, I want a friend like that. I have to pay my Di to do that
Chevy in Detroit we called that strip 'the Devil strip' or the tree lawn. Tree's used to b e planted by the city in that strip. Elms, they died. Not sure why it was called the devil's strip. Chevy can you schedule a couple of days here the next time you come to see DD. I cleaned out those cupboards after brain sx. I'm still finding stuff. Just found the mixer and small food prossesor this week.
Eeyore, Loverly missed the euphemism. Good one. But we do this allot. Allows us to go off in many unconnected but interesting areas. Like a game of telephone. We have been known to create pages by just using one word like 'almonds'.
-
And on cue I reply coconuts. Sounds like a Marx Brothers movie. At least something to make me laugh.
-
Gypsyjo, I hope you love your MAC as much as I love mine. I have the iphone before Siri, but I would turn her off also.
-
Sassy- a couple of years after I met this one friend, we all rented a beach house in RI one summer for a week. The house was owned by a family member who was renting it on a weekly basis that summer. There were things like flour, sugar, etc. in the cabinet and she started cleaning them out and said everything was old and would get bugs. I told her "but this is not my house, and it is not our job to clean out the cabinets." Another gal and I just sat there and watched her trash all that stuff. Then another time she came to my place and cleaned out my crisper (well, that place does get scary). She likes doing it, now I optimize on that stuff when she comes!
Boyd- I am not sure where you are reading that cancer goes away on it's own. The human body always has cancer cells that are getting zapped by other cells. When something happens and that runs amok, tumors form. Then you need to do something about them.
I know you are scared and waiting on information, but please don't believe this goes away on it's own. If you do find yourself with a diagnosis, your results will be provided to a breast surgeon and other medical professionals on your team for a recommended treatment plan.
-
Jazzy, I think she is referring to a thread started by a very scared, angry newbie. Look in the active topics. That's all I'm going to say about it.
-
The post I was talking about is under Not Diagnosed but Worried the post is "Can Breast Cancer go away on its own?"
-
The breast center contacted me about getting a biopsy done. The doctor/radiologist who would be doing it actually called me about it and went of my films with me. She stressed the importance. She told me the mass has a 25% chance of being malignant. She said it may be a lymph node I don't know if that's good. I am going to have a ultrasound guided biopsy on the lump than after results are in will have lumpectomy and remove and test calcifications and remove the mass unless it's cancer she said. She wants to do the needle biopsy first. Anyone had similar issues? This is the second radiologist that has actually went out of their way to speak to me, the first place sent me a certified letter even. I am really concerned now has anyone else had this happen?
-
Boyd, sweetie, everyone on BCO has somehow or anotherAlso, tens of thousands of nonmalignant patients that have too. It's a process that has steps. You are going through the process. Your doc has told you there is a 25% risk of BC. Unsaid is there is a 75% risk that it isn't BC. You are in a loop asking the same question. Keep working the problem by getting your appointments set up
-
Eyeore, LOL, I was the one that missed Loverly's euphemism.
-
Debate. Thursday
-
Sassy- no debate for me, I am going up to Santa Fe for a few days of music and yoga fun.
-
I ain't watchin' no debate either. I might have something else to do.... I am just dis-gruntled with all the candidates.... They are going to talk about things that they think you want to hear.... they all do.... And anyone that calls down Trump will get an ear-full! He does not like to be disagreed with.
Hey Gypsy! I was just teasing you! I SHOULD have waited, but you know how that goes.......... It's just that they "invited" ME...! ME to down-load windows 10! And I'm sort of afraid of "Cortana!" I don't have a smart, or i-phone.... My Daughter does, and you just TALK to the thing! I'm leaving Cortana alone.... She can just sit right there....
-
I added a pot.... with petunias and Ipomea...(sweet potato vine)...
I'm finished with it for now... The little "tree" is in the middle...... Now who was it that was going to come park on my parking???? Haaaaaaaaah!
And neighbor sent me pictures of her 2 little girls! I love those two! They are in their flower-girl dresses... I also like their 6 chickens and white cat Edith.... Just wish "mom" had a little more incentive to get something done!
-
Chevy, I know you are teasing. You are one of those early adopters. Are you a risk taker in other areas? Watch out though, Cortana will come out when you don't expect her. It's MS infiltrating the market place! ;-)
