grateful to my aunt sending me a pick me up via email that made me laugh hysterically after a lousy Valentine's
-
2/15- grateful for a good afternoon and evening with my friend going through cancer treatment. She is taking it all in stride and we discussed my journey and all the challenges we single gals deal with during treatment. We went out and indulged on fajitas for dinner last night too!
Also grateful for the good news here for Onco, who is feeling better and for Ruthbru who got a clean bill of health on her mammo.

-
Grateful for Skype so that I can talk and see my sister who lives far away but the Skype talks are so much more than just a phone call.

2/17- grateful for an excellent networking meeting this morning, and a wonderful business luncheon at noon as I work to get some new gigs for my consulting practice again after a short break to finish my home reno work. Also got some smokin' deals at Chico's today during a little stop there. Life is good!
Onco- glad you are feeling better and hoping all goes well tomorrow.

Grateful to be done with a big project (sorting & putting about 50 million pictures in albums)

Grateful that the tylenol I took this morning kept most of the pain at bay from my first post-op fill!
-
Grateful to be sitting on the balcony in my shorts and t-shirt enjoying the sunshine.
Also grateful for Onco feeling better. And that Mommy got through her first fill with not too much pain. And that Ruth's mammo had such happy results. And that Jazzy has some new consulting oops. And that Honey is enjoying her visit with her granddaughter.
Including a pic of my DH and I at Isla Mujeres (island of women).
Stay safe.

Grateful to have gone to a fabulous concert last night. A group of eight long time local musicians have gotten a band together just for fun & do a wide assortment of music; country, rock, gospel, folk, blues.......they have so much fun that once they start, they can hardly stop....2 1/2 hours of great music that felt like 15 minutes (Jazzy, you would have loved it).
-
Grateful for the other dance moms helping my daughter with costumes, hair and make up during a dress rehearsal last night, while I was home in bed post-chemo. (And grateful that the dance moms at our studio are nothing like those behaving terribly in that awful show.)
