100 Days of Gratitude

3/8- grateful for day light savings and the return of the evening light. One of my favorite weekends of the year!
Also grateful for a lovely thing my friend who my friend, whom I am helping as she goes through treatment, said today during a phone call. She said "my cancer has been a blessing to my life as it has brought wonderful people more into my life, like you!" Made me feel so good! She is heading into round 4 of chemo this week, and will be going to see her later in the week with some food and to hang out.

Jazzy, I am so glad that you can be there for your friend.
I am grateful for the nice, springy weather!
-
Grateful for daylight savings and a smooth weekend that the organization I work for does for teen girls. Fun, work, tired, but worth it
-
grateful for sleep. Been sleeping all weekend and today. Despite the sunshine. Not sure what has gotten into me, but I'm tired and having multiple naps per day. Nice break from insomnia
-
3/9- grateful for a really good yoga class this afternoon that left me very mellow....
Formydaughter- I am going through the same thing. Lots of sleeping issues the past few weeks, but now sleep is coming better. Naps are the body's way of trying to squeeze some extra rest in to catch up. That being said, keep an eye on the fatigue and make sure it does not linger....
-
grateful for another gorgeous day!
-
I hate it when the google demons make my posts go away. Booo.
March 6 - Grateful for the lady who loaned me a lovely dress to wear and I didn't even know her. We had chatted on-line a couple times and I mentioned going out for a special dinner and she said 'o i know what you should wear' and she was right!
March 7 - Grateful for a lazy day of laundry and relaxing.
March 8 - Grateful for a couple of good deals I found and a steak dinner (also found the BBQ under all that snow).
March 9 - Grateful for a good massage today and a positive report from Dr Lee, my physio doc.
Honey - glad it was only dehydration and not anything worse!
Ruth, what do you do when your battery won't turn over? And congrats on your godson's team moving up to state finals.
Jazzy, happy you got some rest after your happy, busy week.
Formydaughter - sleep is a gift for sure. I'm grateful you are finally getting to have some.
Nel, what a good cause. Good for you!
Mommy, sounds like you got dumped on with snow! Yuck!
Onco, what is that old saying - something about moderation? lol. Happy you are taking it easy after doing a bunch of chores, even when you are feeling well.
Have a nice evening ladies.

Today I am grateful for my DH. I know I've said it before but he makes me happy.

Grateful for my good news. First the bad - I'm postmenopausal. I'm officially old. Now the good - I can't take tamoxifen anymore. I am now on AI's. So my mom says 'believe it's going to work with no SE'S.' so I will.
-
being 'old' is a good thing!
We went to the State Basketball tournament yesterday, I'm grateful to got to be part of all that fun. Our team lost, but it was still an exciting day. If we win today, we still have a chance of being the consolation champs, so we shall see.
-
Red- good approach to the AIs. Everyone is different with them. I had a good 6 month adjustment to them and have been fine since. Just monitor your bone health closely.
-
Grateful that after being under the weather for a solid month, DH and I actually got out and walked today.

Grateful that my basketball team won in overtime yesterday & that the winning shot was made by a kid off the bench, who came in after a starter had fouled out.
