Jazzy! It was little miss smarty-pants that posted the little snow man! I was just THINKing it...Ha!
I just cooked up some of those Mexicali Rose Instant Mexican Refried beans, and some potatoes to mash, and then make gravy... also made some green chili to put over the bean burritto's... for sometime.... DH wants those frozen chicken wings.... It's like a short-order house over here....
And I'm watching Cops! Ha! I'm really excercising my brain....
-
Whoops, wrong credit! I blended the post on the snow picture and flip flops all together.
-
Smarrty. ROTFLOL I thought the same thing. AND knew that Chevy wasn't thinking that made it even funnier.
Wren

Chevy, be careful feeding the chickens, not worth a hip
I drove 98 miles for DBF today and he wouldn't let me cut his hair or would he shave to go to SB party at the house behind us. BIGBIG tradition there. R & J are/were Considered one of the closest to deceased DH and I. Stayed with us through all the horrible times when many fell away. DBF still working, may come over later. Promises to shave. I love these folks. We shall see
Lots of folks coming, many from out of state. I had a FLASH last night. LOL. and they are laughing too. Instead of an appetizer. I took them a thing of TP, paper towels, small trash bags, and large trash bags. Oh and a bottle of wine. The paper& bags enough for three parties. Sounds strange, but these folks do it up big. We have all put on parties. These are hidden costs---better used than a 20th appetizer. Can't believe I never thought of it before.
Totally gorgeous here-----------Totally. They will have several fires going on latter. The dogs will not understand not going, cuz they are always welcome. Except today.
Okay, this will sound really stupid. But most know my history. BC, Brain tumor, DH lymphoma and dying, Thryoid cancer. If tomorrow brings another cancer, truly I'll just deal with it. I believe --let it be that I believe. I no longer question the reason of the why. There is a why, but that is for Him to know. Also, my time to come to him is known to him. In the mean time, I do what and where I can. Are there times I scream? Yes, there has been a few. I have learned to put a pillow over my mouth and scream into the pillow. No clue why, but it keeps me from loosing my voice. Lesson learned after loosing voice with the primal scream over mom the first time. Lost my voice for a week. Next scream, I used a pillow no voice loss. Anyone with a clue?
LOve you guys L&H&P's sassy----------BTW I prefer sassy versus sas. TheFuzzyLemon named me sassy and I love it. It's who I am
-
Um,no snowbirds here Beach. Been here 30 years. Sas for about 20.
-
Sassy- I pray tomorrow will bring good news and that you will be spared anymore cancer diagnosis and treatment. But you sound ready to take it head on, and that is the best way to approach these apts. I do that every time I have a follow up too, if I have cancer again, I will get through it, I did before and will so again.
Sending you positive energy for tomorrow's outcome Sassy.
-
Me too Sass.... always thinking of you guys.... xoxoxoxo
-
Sassy,
Tomorrow, not another cancer, only good news!!

-
SAS. Praying for you. Hoping it was a false positive and you have learned something along the way that will help someone else.
-
Thinking of you tomorrow SAS

My this thread has been busy! Going back a couple pages.
Can't understand all the anti-vaxers until there's a medical reason for it. With Mom as nurse, grew up hearing horror stories of not getting vaccinated and one of her DB's had polio too, was sickly his entire life.
Blondie, sweet friend, keep in good spirits and sorry for all you're going thru right now. You need some rest and relaxation to heal.
Sassy, hoping you got out and had some fun today. Will be in your pocket tomorrow. Praying for the best outcome possible.
Rose, can understand when a break away from BCO is needed. Come back soon. With all you've got going on, amazing you have time to post at all. Relate to icky attitudes, I'll join the icky attitude club too, that's why I don't post at times. Waiting for good news to post, lol!
Chevy, thank you for keeping this thread right along. I enjoy all your funnies and personal stories.
Blessings,
Patty, are you feeling any better? Hoping the procedure site is healing and allowing you pain free moments, rest and sleep.
Susan, your sandals photo gave me a good laugh! Hope you weren't wearing them long.
Cami, you're in my thoughts and prayers. Sending special hugs and love to you.
Spookie, seeing bad weather around the rest of country almost makes me feel guilty. I said almost. Was considering posting a screenshot of our weather, similar to yours during the day, it gets cool at night, around mid-40's.
Smaarty, hoping you're healing well and are pleased with your results.
Pawprint, hoping you're lurking and doing well.
Happy birthday Dutchess! I have friends that celebrate the whole month, that seems like a lot of love and honor to me, that makes them really special.
Mommy, LMG, Hi1, Dutchess, Wren, Jazzy, Beachie, and whoever else I missed - sending hugs to you and all who need them!
Let's hope the groundhog brings good news tomorrow!

Oh now SEEEEEEEEEEEE! I suppose THEY are doing it TOOOOOOOOOOOOOO???? You GUYS! You just ASSUME that because he is behind her, that they are in the process of procreating little what-ever they ares! It hasn't been THAT long, has it? I mean I couldn't have forGOTTEN..... Could I???
See, I'm just teasing...I'll bet YOU guys think that we are "up there" and can't remember what we used to did, much less DO it... but I'm here to tell you, that that assumption is entirely in-correct. At least WE do.... Not nearly as often as we USED to.... but the capabilities are still there.... so HAH! He ain't near the "Come here a second" kind of guy he WAS, but yes.... we are alive and thriving.... just more innovative.... and oh hell.... never mind.....
Okay now Sass, don't go startin' another topic with the head-lines.... "DO THEY, OR DON'T THEY"... or "IS THERE STILL LIFE AFTER ...wait.... "IS THERE STILL SEX AFTER SURGERY?"...... Hah.... that's a good one!
YOU guys STARTED it! Now don't go actin' like you don't know what I'm talking about..... All I did was post a picture of some cold little Squirrels... And YOU guys..... WAIT..... CAMMI, do you SEE what they are all doing? I need rescuing from all these inferences.... These women on here are all acting like I don't know what I'm talking about.... or that I don't know what I am doing! THEY assume, that since I/we are over 50 or 60 or even 70 damn years old, that all that has been left by the road-side! I don't think we ever tried it there.... maybe that mountain side? Or .................?
-
Maybe theres an App for that? Let's ask Cammi... She is on her phone day and night... Maybe she knows something WE don't.... That's not possible... but you know? Just maybe!
They have Apps for everything else, right? This needs looking into....
-
-
Doing so well in recovery from surgery that I didn't have to take any pain meds yesterday or any so far today!
-

And so you can just "talk" into your smart-phone? And ask it anything, and "Siri" will ANSWER you? Oh, the possibilities are ENDless!
DD does this with hers....! I could find MANY uses for that.... App... as soon as I can understand what is going on.
-
Woohoo Mommy! Now just go getting all crazy and overdo it.
-
Oh Chevy, you cracked me up. Are up having coffee too? -
-
