night, I hope everything is better tmw for all of us

-
thanks for the laughs, Enerva! Have you see W&F thread?
https://community.breastcancer.org/forum/102/topic...

-
Enerva- you are funny with all those cartoons today! I like the one with the two ladies and the vultures the best. Lets not stand around too long, LOL!
Hope your day at work went better.
2nd time- weather is mild here right now and feeling more like spring since our recent snow storm.
-
The weather here in Washington is rain, and thrurday we have a
windy rain storm coming they say. May though and prayers are with
all of you dealing with the snow storm, hold on to warm thoughts.
-
All that rain and wind on the West coast will come to us as cold snow! And Thanks Canada, we have a Clipper on the way for more snow from you too! I'll keep an eye to the North, Leamington is right across the Lake from me. It is truly lovely on those warm summer nights to sit on the balcony and see the lights along the shore, and the glow from Leamington. The Lake is my happy place, so peaceful. And keeps me from taking anxiety meds! I hope everyone has a happy place.
-
still got the drains because they haven't dropped to the level where they will take them out yet, but PS said everything is healing nicely
-
Hi gals--OK u know I'm never going to catch up so I just barged in---Enerva some good stuff, it's good to laugh.
Mo sorry about the drains but it's better to keep them in then get all infected.
Well we got our share o snow 20 in. and wind--so it stopped everything for 2 days, but things are better now. As if it makes any difference to me--And I actually never stopped working so no calls were missed. but it's been a little quiet now.
I hope everyone has a good day.
-
HAPPY BIRTHDAY---A LITTLE LATE
-
She's BAAA-aaaak! I sound like Jack Nicholson when I say that.
You weren't snowed IN little Camster? You say you were on a barge? And it was "snowing"? So you WERE all hunkered down, and pretending it was Spring out!
You didn't know, because you didn't have to go make a Walmart run! Oh the miseries of just getting up and getting out of that flannel night-gown.... Reminds me.... I'm going to jump in the shower .... I have all Hawaiian body washes... And I smell like a walking Tramplet when I get out on the streets!
I gave a gal at the bank, one of my crotched.... wait.... how do you spell the plural of crochet? It isn't crotched, is it? Anyway, I gave her a stitched... not knitted scarf that I had on... because she helped us, with her Notary stamp.... and her "Medallion" stamp thing... And she thanked me pofusely, and said..... "MMmmm it smells good!".... That's my acronym... or is it "calling card" ??? I smelled good.... Hah!
Anyway wayward gal....(or is that awkward?) It's nice to see you back again! Things have happened here, and you probably missed them! Unless you go back about 5 pages.....
Morning Enerva! Good pictures! And 222222! You 2 ! Ha! And Mom2 is running around with those damn drains.... Honestly, I just can't imagine what some of you gals have to go through.... And I whined with just the Mammosite Drains... they weren't actually "drains"... but everything drained around them.... My DH was better at helping me "clean up" than my Daughter.... thought she would pass out right there on the floor....
Morning Littlefoots and Jazzy! And BEACHES! Yes, we are supposed to get snow today, but then warming up nicely for the rest of the week. I sound just like the Weather-man!
Spooky... Every time I look at our outside Thermometer, I smile... because of you posting yours all the time! Ha!
And I wonder if I could use any more exclamation points?
-
morning ladies...it is cold today. Ok just another day sitting by the fireplace knitting. Friends of mine pay for cleaning help every other week for us. Such I nice gift. So my house will be beautiful and I will rest by fireplace. Just have one client this morning. I like peaceful days.
I hope many of you have a peacfilled wonderful day
Hello everyone
-
Just relaxing again today. Can't do very much until the PS gives the all clear!
-
SAS. / hey there. To answer you : yes my mo called the pain mgnt dr on his cell while I was sitting there waiting and listening. However the MRI was scheduled for 3 weeks out as soonest available and my mod last month was last month. He retired. So pain mgnt dr got me in too see him like the next day then got the MRI finest he very same night. Befire the schefuled MRI could have been done we got the MRI done , read , office visit and procedure done. I am happy with it.
-
Patty I think that sounds good.
Oh Mo u still today have those drains, I know they're not painul just annoying tho. Hope they come out soon. And yes just look at the snow, that's about all I can do too.
Chevy I thought u said tampax and u gave away u'r crotch--WTF have u been doing in this snow. We all take it easy, not u. U just keep on going like the energizing bunny. I know u can't help u'r self, it's the kind of woman that u just are. No Intervention here.
-
what did she just say?
-
-
I just looked it up. Crocheted.
-
Oh Mom2! YOU'RE a big help.... No matter how many times I read that, and try and figure out what she said, I am still baffled.... Something about a convention or something?
-
And I don't think they even MAKE Tampax anymore.... do they? So whatever she said is insignificant.
-
lol Chevy, I have no clue either.
Not running around anywhere at the moment, I'm sitting down. Hope these rassa-frackin' drains come out soon. So tired of sleeping on my back and just having to deal with them in general. At least while I still have them they gave me another prescription for antibiotics for another week! Sick of sponge baths and washing my hair in the kitchen sink, I want a real shower
-
Oh Mom2! I just washed ...I mean rinsed my hair in the sink! I colored it, and I had just taken a shower, so I didn't want to lay over the tub, to rinse my hair! I probably would have fallen in there somehow anyway...
I like that... "rassa-frackin" drains! Ha, ha! Cammi would say "that's re-cockulous!"
Can you cut a hole in the bottom of a big black trash-bag, and put it over your head, and try taking a shower that way? It might make you feel better... When did they say you can take a real shower?
-
YIPEE, I'm all done. As long as the girls behave I don't have to see the doc for a year. Yippee!
Mo, docs are different, first ps said no showers for the first week, the second ps said after 3 days. Go figured. Drains are a necessary evil. I had mine taken out to soon after bmx, then had to go back in for a month, once a week to have the excess fluid withdrawn. If they hurt, then take a pain med of some kind. I just took half a Norco while they were in after the TEs were placed, had those drains that time for 4 weeks. Hope it doesnt last so long for you.
Chevy and Cammi, you two are like Abbott and Costello! So funny. (I did see Tampax the first time I read it).
-
Hi Insomniacs- checking in here at the end of the day.
Mommy- I hope the drains can come out soon. Whenever I have been able to take a good hot shower after not being able to with surgeries, etc., it is one of the best feelings ever. When will you find out again when they can come out? Do you go in again next week? Hang in there on the sponge baths, I know they don't make you feel really clean. Bring on that hot shower please!
Chevy- we have a winter thaw going on down here a state south so I will send that up your way, okay?
Sassy- are you still resting or back to your old sassy self yet? What a week for you!
Patty- is your pain situation better?
Cami and Chevy are more like Lucy and Ethel or Thelma and Louise!
Hope everyone is doing okay.
-
Yep they do still make tampax, some chick just got toxic shock syndrom
Here is pix of my beauitful cast
Am doing ok here in rehab 4 a while

-
Blondie- wow, that is a pretty purple sock on your foot brace. If I were there, I would want to sign it.
-
So much for a board break... My back hurts (being bent over) and I am frustrated!!!! My oldest kid had this very feminine flowery long dress that was too long for her. She wanted a Valentines day dress, for an ARC dance. I said, "why don't I cut down the long one and make it short?? It's so pretty." I thought how hard could this be? ok it's this flimsy gauzy see through flowery material, slides all over- so I am hemming it by hand.. same with the knit slippery lining... taking me forever... friggin thing moves...OY! Took me forever to cut the dang thing... ok I am through whining! Had to laugh over the misspellings and fun between ya'll. Glad folks are healing well, drains almost out, girls all set for the year and med testing finished. Yay Patty you are better able to move. Howdies to everyone I missed, stay warm.
Back to the dress... and my cat Zoe watching the needle and thread...her head moves back and forth (she's a wee bit simple.) Nite!
-
Yay Blondie- I like the purple cast. Glad rehab is going well! Nice to see your post.
-
Blondie, love the cast, I'd sign it too. At least you can get out of bed..
Rosie, my heart goes out to for the hemming! Grrr, sounds difficult but hopefully DD will appreciate and you will be happy with the results. You are such a good mom. Yay for short breaks from this thread.
Was going to post a screen shot of our gorgeous weather but don't need the haters right now.
Hugs to all who need or want them
-
Hope everyone is hanging in there, Hows the snow?
we are getting a lot of rain here in Washington and
watching the rivers this week. But life is good. My thoughts
and prayer are with You all, Hanging in there with good
friend here that make it easier. I love that purple sock Blondie!
-
