Thank you Spookie for posting. I had over an hour's drive home. AND seriously needed to jump back in bed as soon as I got home ":)
Really, liked the doc. He came into the room and gave me S**t for smoking. Actually said "And your still smoking?" as he's looking at my hx. He talked for a couple of minutes and then said "Look I know we need to just go and do the cysto". We did. One minute after the scope was in, the entire bladder was examined.HAPPY BIRTHDAY AGAIN DUTCHY YAY ANOTHER YEAR OLDER, but still not as old as you know who
Mommy oh very good Yay yippppppyipp
Oh hugs everyone................................back to bed

Taking it very easy and not overdoing it. Fluid levels in the drains have dropped dramatically since the surgery. Looks like if this keeps going like this my PS will remove them tommorrow.
-
So happy to hear about Sassy
I have been lurking, but not posting.
I'm exhausted today, woke up feeling sick and just haven't gotten my groove back all day. The winter weather is making my job hard today, so that isn't helping.
((hugs))
Blondie thinking of you and Holeinone thinking of you too.

great news Sas!
Happy B-day Dutchie!
love to all of you wonderful ladies.

DBF and I head out Wed. to Missouri to take care of things at his moms, and bring her dog home with us. Still no sign of a will or other directives, so I have a feeling this process will be a very long one, as well as painful. Thanks for all your lovely thoughts and words, they are greatly appreciated.

Yeah, sassy

Sorry JWOW! I've been working on that myself..... Quit Claim Deed to put our home in our Daughter's names.... to protect it from the State, if we have to go in some sort of home when we get a lot older.... If it is in THEIR names and not ours, the State can't take it... So it has to be signed, notarized, and sent to the City.....
Also our Cremation plans have been paid for.... and the POA.... Durable and Medical.... Their names are on our bank accounts also... So I wanted to do it to save THEM from having to go through this.
I did this with my Grandma and my folks, and it isn't easy... I brought my Grandma's little dog home with me too! When she went to Assisted Living.... before all the nusing homes..... Thinking of you........
-
Jwoo- thinking of you too. I went through this with both parents. Working on updating some things myself on my estate documents. I hope things go well for you and your family on this, and yes it can take awhile. A good elder care attorney will go a long way to help you through this.
Sas- I am sure you are exhausted and thanks for touching base with us here today. I hope you get rested up, and are back to your perky self soon.
How are the east coasters doing post storm today?

Still digging out from the snow. Thank goodness hubby is home as i can't do any shovelling per docs orders
-
Thank you for all the birthday wishes. Supper with my ds and his gf was really good. We got 6" of snow on Sunday and are expecting up to 4 more today. At least shoveling is exercise. I'm hoping to just stay home today and get some things done around the house. My dd is sick and s home today. I hope I don't get it .
-
Good morning- I hope everybody back east is surviving the snow and the bitter cold. It sounds very hard back there right now.
Mommy- definitely no shoveling. Glad you have the help you need as you recover.
Sassy- hope you slept like a rock and are feeling better today. Yesterday was a huge (but good outcome) day for you
Safe travels to all those traveling right now with on time flights, clear roads, and all the rest.
I have a busy day of business things to do and wish you all a good day.
-
Hello,, I want to sleep for a week. Thanks again EVERYONE, it was something special to lean on you.
Patty question? Your pain doc took the MRI right away. Why didn't the PCP or MO order the MRI. They could have long ago. They need to be talked too. It's hx for you now. But it if the pain doc realized there was something on physical exam that caused him to order the MRI. The MO at least should have been able to do the same thing. If you think of it, on your next talk with the pain doc ask him if expecting the PCP and Mo to of caught this is expecting too much?
Chevy did you fall off your pole?
-
Its really cold here today. The snow from all these storms we have been having is really piling up. Must have 2 feet. If we get anymore snow, it won't melt til May lol
-
happy birthday dultchy!!!
I wanted to share some funny pictures I found.
