100 Days of Gratitude
Comments
-
Grateful for a fun day of subbing in my favorite area (social studies).
-
Grateful for a measurable snow!
-
Grateful that I love to cook certain foods and that my DH loves everything that I prepare.
-
Grateful to have some 'true friends':
-
1/25- grateful to talk to my friend today who is going through chemo for a more aggressive endometrial cancer. She is heading into Round 2 of chemo and has a very good attitude. She is also able to work PT through this too, which is important for us single gals.
Ruth- took your advice to just keep calling periodically to check in and she loves it. I hope to go see her after her daughter leaves next weekend.
-
Grateful for a Sunday and I got back to the gym for the first time in 4 months. Probably won't be going to zumba anytime soon, balance still off following foot surgery - but it felt great to excercise -
Grateful for lunch with my DD and her DH. They live 2 hours away, and we drove down to meet them. Wish they were closer.
-
Yea, Nel!
Grateful for the Annual Soup Cook Off, which is a fund raiser put on by the youth of my church. This year there were 24 different soups entered in the contest. You give a free will offering, get to sample as many soups as you want (and have as much as you want), and then vote for your favorites. Since I love soup, I was in soup heaven (and yes, I sampled all 24 of them.....which I why I have to exercise!).

Onco I recommend getting a recliner, I bought one for myself a couple of months ago, I am not a 'napper' but I get in that thing hit recline and two hours later I wake up, I've done it both days rhis weekend!
Ruth I posted that exact quote on a friends FB wall yesterday, she is also a BC survivor and I sat next to her at Spin yesterday and she was having a hard time, all her family have had the flu twice and she was just feeling blah and just needed someone to talk with who understands the dark places we sometimes get ourselves into.
Yesterday grateful for my neighbor who helped me clean out some junk from my garage, today grateful for such a gorgeous sunny day
-
Grateful to be all ready for tommorrow's blizzard
-
Grateful that today DH & I are taking off for a little vacation (and grateful that we are not going east.....stay safe, East Coasters!).

Behind again.
Saturday I was grateful for time spent with friends (2 from bco) celebrating a 50th birthday.
Sunday I was grateful for Matt for coming over and fixing my computers. They are much faster now and my wireless printer works again. He also refused to take any money saying we were like family to him so he couldn't possibly.
Monday I was grateful for a nice hot bath after work and an early night.
Today, I am grateful that my payroll training went well and the supervisors understand their responsibilities better now.
-
1/27- I had a prolia shot yesterday which can make you very "flu-ish" with body aches and the like, but outside of a bit of achiness last night I could manage with some ibuprofen, I am doing fine and grateful the SEs with the shot are minimal so far. Got a few more days to go as my body adjusts to everything.
