It's like the disease is non exist

Hi all,
I hate mice...we used to buy the little white ones with red eyes to feed to a snake...one time the snake wouldn't eat it because it was shedding. I think we put the mouse in the bathroom with my cat and closed the door.
I have a storage room in my house that I have not been in in a very long time (it's unfinished) and I often imagine there are 100 mice that have taken over the room...I want to set out traps before I go in there to clean it.
Hmmm the ladies here are getting younger...39? I guess I can't be middle-aged then...(66).
I keep really active with work and when I travel I do crazy things and am grateful that I can.Jo, whoa, still working too hard! Hope you can go home soon and get back to retirement...
Susan, I live on Long Island, but I do not know anyone to recommend. (sorry) I go to Sloan Kettering on LI. That must be a tough decision for you. I always believed less is more...but you know your needs best.
So, we're getting snow...and it went from up to 1 foot to now up to 3 feet on Tuesday.
Work tomorrow....snow will be light but they may cancel night classes because the County wants to pre-salt the roads before the big snows and winds. Be safe, everyone, and stay warm. It's a huge storm. My part of LI is in line for the biggest snowfall.Keep the fire going....it will be cold here.
-
MJoan here too with the snow............I hate it......I feel so closed in when it happens.........Kind of dumb cause I'm home anyway, but that is by choice.......with over a foot of snow...it doesn't become a choice anymoe it becomes a "keep your ass in the house"......LOL
I got the Riddex things you put in the wall......I think now they are working......will only know when I see the next mouse turd........LOL
My grandaughter's baby shower was wonderful.........my daughter did an amazing job.........
Something new.......gifts ot wrapped by request........worked great........
It was a breakfast shower.....11am......it was at a very nice country club.....my daughter worked there for years......bacon, eggs, home fries, french toast, beligan waffes, and a station that made omelets to order...........danish, bagels, croissants, jewish apple cake, marble lb cake, baklava....orange juice and coffee and tea with different.liqors.................
Then cookies, cake, homade apple strudel with whipped cream, cream cheese cup cakes, and mini key lime pies......and gifts for all........plus games with gifts for the winners..............my daughter did a great job..........
And no surprise.........which I loved.....my grandaughter was there to greet the guests......
Me and my daughters with the new Mommie in the middle.....her Mom is the one with the scarf....left to right....Nikki, youngest, Genevieve, oldest, Genna, and on the far right Michele
-
This is my daughters with their daughters......Kaileen far left....her mother is far right.....Nikki, her daughter is the far right....(only 14)...Genevieve, with Genevieve the new Mommy and her daughter.....
-

-
What a lovely family you have, Ducky! The shower sounds wonderful!! A breakfast shower is a great idea. -

-
Thanks ladies........actually I have 10 boy grands, and 8 girl grands............BUT.....have 4 great grandaughters...........SO......I am hoping for a boy this time.....but healthy is more important.......then I learned last week I have another grandson who told me his girlfriend is pregnant......Ugh...........he loves her early, and he is a college graduate going for his Master's now............
Just not sure he realizes what he is in for......he is a great guy......but this is "big"...........
So I will have 6 great grandchildren by this July.........Phew...........
Honkering down, waiting for the snow..............
-
same here. Will not relax until hubby gets home from work. Hoping they let him get out early ahead of the storm (ha ha).
Wore my new boots to run to Dunkin' Donuts to get my breakfast this morning. Love them!
-
I'm a little over two weeks out from my BMX and hubby tore his meniscus playing soccer, so the only able bodied shoveler in our house right now is my 13 year old daughter. We've called a service to snowblow our rather long driveway, but it could be interesting trying to make it to the hospital on Wednesday for my appointments with my MO, PS and GO. We've been told to expect 24+ inches.
-
We may see anywhere from 15-30 inches statewide!
-

Poor Greyson!
-
baby is adorable! so much dark hair! well making bean soup, someone told me maybe the gas~~from the soup will be of help if I loose power
~~~~~~~~~~~oh well could clean, or something but feel lazy and want to save my energy if I need to shovel
-
Thank heavens my son sends someone over my house everytime it snows.....he has a company that cleans his house and all his apartment buildings, and properties he owns, and he sends them to my houss........what a break for me........at 79 I am not about to shovel....
However there are no kids or people around here who do it, and forget the neighbors...........although...next door's son who lived with her would always do my walkway......great guy, and I would give him a gift card everytime he did it...........
But my neighbors older brother moved in, and Eric her son moved out.........well her brother does shit.....other then rev his Corvette, and his motorcycle......so thank heavens my son sends his guys over here.......
I hate snow.........
