Very upset today.......my daughter messaged me......Stella had 3 seizures between 1am, and 1:24 in the morning...they rushed her to the Vets.........
She wil be there till tomorrow some time.........I am devastaed....was with her last night at my daughters............the kids are scared to death..
She will probably be put on Phenobard now.......ugh......
-
Ducky, I have a Pompoo who is 13. She has been on phenobarb daily for 11 years and has never had a problem with it. If I forget to giver her her pill she comes and gets me. Once in a while she'll have a breakthrough seizure but that's very seldom.
-
-
Ducky,,, a friend's dog had seizures and they put her on primidone for it. She had some breakthru seizures but it was mostly controlled. Hopefully Stella can go on meds and it will help. Seizures are scary to watch,, must be so hard on the kids. Keep us posted!! -

See how great these ladies are.........we're a real family........hugs.

oh
We have a newbee
Welcome
Ducky may be all she says she is
BUT
I am the craziest
-
Great to see you back Kracker!! I got this for you.
Basement door is locked!!
Ducky, my DD's dog has seizures all the time. I'm always so nervous to watch him. He had one here when I was going through chemo. It was awful to watch. My DD always puts him in the bathtub with a blanket. He loses control of everything and it takes him so long to come out of it. He is 15 years old now and has had them all his life. He is an inherited dog from her BF. He is an Italian Greyhound. Wishing the best for Stella.
Lucy, I did not get all the tax stuff done. I did estimated taxes last week and now I've got to work on end of year stuff. It's my least favorite time of year and I always dread it. I'm very organized, but one year, many years ago we ended up owing $7,000. Since then I'm always a wreck at tax time.
Welcome Magical!! You picked a great thread with kind, caring ladies. They are a hoot!!
Kracker thinks she is the craziest - personally I think we are all a bit crazy!!
Isn't it nice that Ducky has her own pilot to fly her around the world???
Edited once again for typos.
-
Thanks Ladies.love you all..........my Pilot says he will take you anywhere you want to go........LOL
-
Thanks for the welcome, everyone. You sound like you are all pretty much nuts, and I like that in my friends.
I'm oldish (67), retired this past summer, live with my sister in the house we grew up in. Between us we have 6 dogs and 6 cats.
Your pilot is a cutie.
-
hahaha Ducky. Right now I would like to be in Seattle watching the Seahawks play Greenbay.
My husband is from Washington and we love the Seahawks.
Go Seahawks!! Sorry Badger
We are watching it on TV though.
-
Slow........watching it too................Love my Eagles and Mark Sanchez, but love all football..............except Dallas............"sorry Blondie".
I must admit Tom Brady is another one of my favorites...........
Slow I spent 1 1/2 years in Yakima Wa..............loved it there.............would have stayed but I was a Mommy's girl.....only child, and wanted to go home...........
Picked apples.....pears.........just loved the place...............
Wow.....Green Bay is playing great.........Aaron Rogers is amazing.........
May the best team win.............
-
I must admit, they are playing great! I texted that same thing to my niece - may the best team win. She recently moved to Wisconsin - her husband is from there.
My husband was born in Wenatchee - about 80-90 miles from Yakima. It's so beautiful there. He spent most of his adult years in Tacoma but his family are all still there. I love the whole Pacific Northwest. We would have moved there in a heartbeat if it wasn't for my family. I'm not a huge fan of California - except for the winter months!!
-
That was an unbelievable game Ducky.
I can't believe the Seahawks pulled that out.
-
Me either......I hate to say it, but they really played awful.......they got lucky in the end.....felt sorry for Aaron Rodgers...he played a great game.....while hurt........I don't see much in the Seahawks QB.....
Now I am rooting for Tom Brady........not the Patriots team.....Just Brady........he is an unbelievable QB, and deserves to be at the Superbowl........
Jus wish it was my Eagles...............and Sanchez or Foles............
-
our newbe said she is oldish
Oh yeah!!!!
Ducky is the oldest
I am next
U r not even close to our age.."
Tomboy I think is our baby
So that makes U in the middle somewhere
Stay with us...we do have a lot of fun
-

-
Ducky
I'm the craziest
And only a few yrs.younger then U
I'm really off to bed now
Xo
-
Sleep well dear friend........hugs

Hi Goddesses,
I've been down and out with sinus / ears / throat for 4 days.FK, sorry about your sinuses…must have caught it from me. I hope you find relief. There really isn’t much to do for it…decongestants
are too drying.Tomboy, glad to know somebody’s up late. Strangely, I have been going to bed early but waking for hours in the middle of the night. Last
night I finally got regular sleep.
Tomorrow, up at 6 AM. (back to work; classes start)
Tomboy, Slow, I got some sort of fit bit for Christmas…I think it sends info to my iPhone. I haven’t even opened it. I agree with Val - I already know.... Maybe I should use it so that next time my docs ask me how I’m sleeping I can tell them…not well!Slow, the video was cute...but I forgot to hit the back button and closed out of BCO. At least I didn't lose a post!
Magical, I am sorry to hear you are "old"...I'm 66 and not old yet..
.LOL! Yes, they are pretty crazy here. The best thing is we can throw all our useless baggage into the bonfire...or we can just hangout around the fire to chat. It's all good.
Love the "Plot Twist"...I really need a way to NOT go crazy when people are awful...when I get blindsided at work..when my kids go through tough times...I like this approach.FK, you know I am with you.
Ducky, hope you are over that nasty flu...you sound like yourself and yes you are the oldest, prettiest, most experienced (you know), funniest...
but definitely not the craziest. I do think FK has a corner on that market.Hi Jo, wherever you are today...
Loved the football chat - was watching yesterday and since no teams are faves, I enjoyed it. It is the best football day of the year. Better than Super Bowl. The Seattle game was crazy...I loved the drama. The Pats game was...ummm....boring? But then, NYers don't much like Boston sports teams.
Magical, I can't go back to check, but is it you who is from Wellsville NY? Hmmm welcome to a fellow NYer but where the heck is that? I hope you aren't in the ice zone.
Gma, hope you are feeling good today.
Blondie, if you are reading, you know I love u and am thinking of you.
Loving that this is a holiday....off from work...and feeling better.
-
I can't believe I did this. Got up at 3:30, got my breakfast smoothie, turned on a movie, sat down at my chair to start work. Logged in and realized today is a HOLIDAY! Can't go back to sleep now.... Geeze....Have a great day!
