Grateful that DS came over today, bought me dinner, set up the new cellphone & some other fixed technical devices that had gone awry.
-
Grateful that I didn't eat the liver dog cookies I mistakenly heated up instead of the meatballs I had intended to cook for my lunch (yes they were the same shape and they almost went into my mouth ... yuk)
-
Ha! Cheryl I just read about a lady who was in a hurry when she was making tuna casserole & mixed in a can of cat food instead. Unfortunately this was not discovered until the family started eating! (She noted it was so bad that even the cats wouldn't touch it.)
-
Oh my gosh Ruth that is funny but not funny at the same time!
-
Well, it made for a great story once they got the taste out of their mouths!
-
That is one of those family stories that will be told at her funeral.
-
1/4: Grateful DD's BF is a sweetheart! I've seen more of her (and she's been in such a good mood) the past couple of months while she's been dating him than the previous couple of years. Maybe it's because he's a twin?

Grateful for the opportunity to do some volunteer work this morning & that I have a garage!
-
Today I am grateful that my fundraising efforts are finally stepping up. I have had many contacts with HopeSpring over the past 3 weeks and am at least getting the paperwork part of my project out of the way. I haven't had a day off work since Dec 26th though and between that and HopeSpring I am a little tired. Lol
Have a great day!
-
I am grateful that my exercise classes have started back up, I was so bad over Christmas that I can hardly button my jeans!
-
1/6- grateful to get through my MO apt yesterday. Also grateful to be home today from the client site where the flu is going around like crazy.....

1/5: grateful a lot of new jobs opened up so I could apply to them
1/6: grateful to hear from a friend who's in town, planning to meet with her and a couple ladies I haven't seen or heard from in almost 25 years this coming weekend
-
Grateful that my cold is finally gone!
-
Mommy colds are no fun. Glad yours is gone.
2TA - hooray for job openings. Good luck with your search.
Onco, you are progressing really well!
Today I am grateful for the human brain. It amplifies joys, happiness and love while dampening the effects of hurts and insults. Kudos to the brain!
-
Hated being sick.

I think it's because it hits too close to home.....that and because we have an idea of what they are about to go through physically, mentally and emotionally. I feel physically ill when I learn that a friend or acquaintance has been diagnosed.
Grateful that the sun is shining on this cold, cold day.

Onco- sorry about your friend. It is hard seeing others go through a cancer diagnosis. I have a friend in chemo now with an aggressive endometrial cancer. I am very worried for her and will go see her again soon.
We know this crap can go any which way for people. I pray your friend gets through this.
-
Grateful that a cousin's biopsy came back negative!
-
Onco and Jazzy I'm very sorry about your friends. I agree with Ruth.
Today I am grateful not to have close friends who are currently battling this Dx. I pray that continues.
Have a great day.
-
I am grateful that I can stay in today. We are in a blizzard warning & the cold, cold wind is gusting to 45 mph!!!!
