Turned the heat on just for last night. Got down to 34 overnight outside and on top of it we were under a freeze warning.

Pages and pages behind!! Not sure I'll ever catch up! I had a nice vacation even though it rained everyday! It was still good to get away! Just thought I check in and let everyone know I'm still here!
Maybe I'll get to catch up and maybe I'll just have to jump in! Hope everyone is doing as good as possible! I'm doing ok, just still trying to wrap my head around MY "new normal" and praying that all the aches and pains are just from old age and treatment side effects!! Nothing serious going on, just nagging stuff!!
However, I started Tamoxifen today, been putting it off, I was scared because of the severe side effects from the Aromasin and Femara, praying that this one will be a little nicer to me! I had to start sometime as I have an appt on 11/5 for me to tell the MO whether or not I can tolerate it!
Happy Monday! It was a hard one for me being that I had been on vacation! But I'm back to the grind!
-
Susan, what a cutie! Doesn't look a day over 10!!!!!!

Happy Anniversary, Nettie and Nettie's Hubby!
-
Happy annivesary!blondie-what happened with granddaughter? ((hugs))
I need to go to bed, just took a sleep aid. I tried to go to bed w/o one last night and my mind just wouldn't shut off.
Hubby's bloodwork came back and the nurse left a message that he has low sodium. She said doc wants him to drink less water....huh?? The man barely drinks water as it is, mostly drinks Crystal Light or diet soda. I've never heard such a thing.
anyway, gonna try to hit the sack now.
((hugs))
-
Happy anniversary Nettie.
Blondie, I'm sure that sleep is very welcome.
-
can't keep up
Nettie, happy anniversary!
Tang, hope you get some sleep.
This week is starting off better than last week or the week before. Wishing for a quiet, boring day though.
Saw this, a pumcapple, the turducken of cakes. My contribution to random thoughts for the day:

http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2014/10/20/turducke...
Gain weight just looking at it! It's a bit much to me (but then again, so is a turducken)
-
Omg love looking at it
Of course cant sleep
This is my gd who is preg. Someone stole georges adderall medication out of my house, mind u nobody comes here, she has a history of stealing, an everbody thinks it was her or the bf to sell it 4 money, she wrote me an email. Just makes me sad, cause i have been 1 ofca few defending her after she stole the cars n the money n the clothes from the mall, etc. Oh well done, told her good luck

Blondie, sorry you're going thru this, you don't need that negativity and stress in your life. Hope you get some sleep
-
My Daughter sent me this! I remember my Grand-son watching this with me
when he was little... Stories about Marcel The Shell! Ha!Yes Nettie, Congratulations!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QYZLy5uC5uc&app=desktop
Okay Blondie.... How old is this Granddaughter? Too old to spank? Maybe
we should do it anyway... just for general purposes.I might have told her more than good luck, as I threw her out the
door...!Tang, isn't that just the pits, when you can't shut off your mind? I have
to just give it up, get up, and watch TV until I can go back to sleep...
Sometimes you can eat a small snack, and it helps.Morning Wren and 222222222222! What IS that? A turducken? Of Cakes? Oh
wait till cammi sees that! I think that's wrong!OMG GIRLS DON'T READ WHAT IT'S ABOUT~!!!!! I clicked on the link!!!
It might make you think twice about chicken again!
It can't be real! I think they just made that name up, with no chicken or
duck...?So Blondie... She is not a kid? Just a brat of a 1/2 grown gal, trying to
get herself into trouble! Maybe not let her in again, unless you tie her hands
together...Don't sound good... she might be in for a LOT of trouble. If she gets away
with something even once, she will keep it up. Man, I wouldn't know what to
do! Good luck with THAT one....She must be trying out to be the next Bonnie, and her BF must be
Clyde.Okay.... no-ones up yet... ! BBL.....
-
well I am as usual lost, but went back to read a few pages
ROSSE you are an angel. Yes even though I do not believe in much this days I do believe there are situations which makes us stronger and help us deal with what's in for us at a later day.
Sending you all hugs, my sister start her new pills treatment next week.
Hoping she can survive this c.
Love u all
-

For my Owlettes.
-
Blondie I'm sorry you are dealing with this. I hate to admit this, but I had similar issues with my own dd and it really caused a rift that I don't know will ever be fixed. You certainly don't need this going on ((hugs))I got some decent sleep, but it took awhile to turn the brain off still. I feel refreshed this morning so far, so hopefully it stays that way

I hope ya'll are feeling good today. I wonder if I will ever stop with the achey bones when I get up from laying down or sitting. My knees hurt too, can't walk on stairs...going down is killer. I'm 40 years old ya'll....too young for this right! lol good ol' chemo!!
10/24 is my 1 year anniversary of being officially dx'd. I'm still feeling alot of stuff over it, sometimes I think it is harder now than when I was going thru the tx's.
((hugs))
-
Suprised to have slept all night when I went to bed. Never even heard the hubby get up as he usually does at least once during the night.
-
Tang, as an arthritic person with no cartilage in my knees, I can give you a tip about walking downstairs – until 3 years ago we lived in a tri level '70's house. Go down sideways. If you need to, do it one stair at a time, if you have one knee that's better, lead with that one. That's how I survived, but eventually we bought a one level house.
-

Hugs and coffee for those in need.
-
Thanks peeps, i am so sad, oh well can't do anything about it need to take care of myself really ccan't worry bout all of them. Thanks 4 caring
Going 2 get a shower, did go 2 sleep til 5 put thw tv on 4 an hour, woke up @ 9. Dd2 is bringing her kids over where she can go to the drs.
Have a great day all
-
Thanks all for the congrats! We have worked hard to stay together! It is definitely a work in progress and there have been times when I would say to him and I'm sure it works both ways "It's a good thing I love you because today I sure don't like you at all"!! Fine line sometimes between love and hate! But I really do love him and for the most part, he took care of me while I was dealing with chemo and rads and he's always there holding my head when migraines induce the throwing up! And we do have fun together!Blondie, so sorry about you GD! Tough love is always hard!
Hello to everyone else!!
-
Mags.... that's how I go downstairs! The PT guy said UP with the good leg, and Down with the bad... I hold onto both walls when going down our stairs. When I go up, it's easier to just go up on all 4's, or else one step at a time.... UP with the good, one step at a time.
Nettie.... Yes, it ain't a cake-walk..... sometimes, it is just the best in the world, but other times we reach a place where you have to hide the cast-iron skillets...Ha! But you know, it passes.... our love stays.
-
Oh Blondie.... I didn't see you! It's alright to be sad.... but little honey, you can't do anything about it.... can you? Would it help to call, or email and just tell her "I love you honey." I know it would make you feel better.... and maybe she would "feel" it just a little. I know you love her, and that's why it hurts....
