well yuck. It's midnight, my aches have pain, Spookie and I are hot and can't sleep. Nothing like a hot 7 # dog to keep you up! I thought she had to pee. Nope, so I will.
Nite all, I hope.
-
Enerva, hope you're getting some good quality rest too.
Spookiesmom, does she have to sleep so close to you tonight? Glad she got you up to pee, what a good dog!
-
Oh I loved those pics and the funny ones really funny.
Thanks for the free lemonade tip after the day is over. LOL
Blessings u have the strangest thing going on, I know we all forget things, well most of us do, but u'r is over the top. I hope it starts healing very soon.
I woke up and didn't quite make it to the bathroom, another D attack now I'm awake--I have a feeling I'm not done. Dammit. I was sleeping so nice.
BTW did anyone get bit by any mesquitos (sp) this year? So far I haven't, it's been no bites since all this started I guess our blood isn't for them--so that's a plus.
Weather report from IL HOT for a while. Now that school has started.
-
enerva, I also just started taking sleeping pills. I take all electronic communicative devices away from me..lol. Same thing happens. But I need my sleep..and it works. If they aren't in arms reach I don't go for them..lol. After about a week or so, I remember everything again...so I think it is a temporary thing, while the brain is trying to adjust you shutting it down for sleep, good luck in your attempts

Morning gals!
2222222222nd, I tried the link just now, and it went
through.... sometimes a certain browser, or something won't let us in, but it's
still there... She was born without any legs, but her story is really
inspiring....I also sent the "dyslexia" cartoon to my Daughters! .....
Good for you Enerva! You just go whip those boys into
shape....Enerva.... YES! He was out back the other day! Trying to
break into the Coop, and all the "girls" were just swooning! Ha, ha! I think
he is some sort of Pheasant?I KNOW he is a "HE" because of how colorful he is...
Okay, I googled red-breasted pheasant, and that's what he is!
Amazing!Blesssings LilDarlin'...... YES! SEE? You remembered
something! Damn! I think your little brain is going to take a long time to
recover.... I will be your Mentor!I will be your shining light, for which you can strive
for........Now Cammi, just don't say a word... for a
minute!See, what your Husband said, may NoT be what really
happened.... at least to you anyway... So he said something, of which you have
no recollection, so to YOU anyway it didn't happen! TELL him that. So if you
can't remember, then it didn't happen!Tell him this..... "Okay, remember the other night when
you were feeling so Johnny Dep with me? And you threw me on the bed, and spent
4 hours showing us that one night of bliss & passion?"So he will look surprised, and amazed.... to which you
reply.... "Do you remember THAT?"And no, of course he doesn't! Same thing..... HE
remembers things, and YOU remember different things...... this is going to take
some work..... who KNOWS wth your brain is doing.... but mine was on vacation
periodically for YEARS!Okay.... now you can talk Cammi.....
HIHO....! What IS this "Hornitos".... fits right in with
Blessings Husband, right? Is it like Amaretto.... oh wait....I'll look THAT up
too! OMG! Something NEW to try! What's it taste like
Cammi?OH THE SPOOKIE'S ARE UP! YAAAAAaaaaaaay!
At least they were! He only weigh's 7 pounds? I thought "he" was much
larger than that, and that SHE was a he? Okay.... just quit bothering that
dog when she wants to slelep!Morning miss Cams! No! No mosquito bites! We don't have
them here at my house. We have huge ants though! Never saw them until this
year....! We also have Squirrels, mice and Crows, and a million little
Sparrows... no fleas, ticks or mosquitos....I just have Butterflies, Lady-bugs and bees in my
gardens.... They must eat the mosquitos....Hi Susan & everyone else.... You must all be
sleeping, because you didn't post! -
morning Chevy, I've been up since 4! Hate that. Still working on the new PC. So far only 1 software is working. Some are almost working. Still have a few more to out on.
So now it's official, 35 lbs. I'm going to need to buy new underware soon, then I'm done shopping.
Enerva, when is your sx next week? Hope you have some help lined up. I remember how sick you were last time. I'm seeing another ps next week, he's outside of my ins, so maybe he'll be able to tell me something. If he can fix them, then I'll be changing my health ins during open enrollment. What's Niffy is I found out that I can go back to the old ins within 60 days of getting Medicare in February.
Susan, how'd you do on this round?
Phylissinhouston, how's is your tx going?
-
Blessings, I saw on CNN web that certain meds can mess with your memory. Statins was one. Lipitor, etc.
yes, Spookie HAS to sleep with me, plastered against my back or neck. We were both hot last night, couldn't get comfy.
And she is a GURL!!!! Almost all her stuff is pink!!!!!
-
good morning ladies. Still to sick to remember what everyone said and respond but def glad to read what is going on with everyone.
Hope y'all have a great day.
Hootie hoo
-
Good Morning again Ladies.
Patty just read, u don't have to respond if u don't feel good, but pop in to let us know.
And everything Chevy talked about I haven't a clue what it's about, but that sounds bout right for me.
It's raining here this morning and Joey just left for school--so quiet time for the day.
I feel icky today so far, I'll be better later.
-

My niece receive the parcel yesterday and sent me a few pictures lol she is in love with her top. This is the girl who lives in LYON, France she is almost finished with her university this year. She is the one who made me the little owl. She knows I would show you her pictures so here it's. She did no do a great job taking the picture by herself lol

hey cami. I hear ya about school starting. My 2 ds started Monday. Thought I would be ready for a break where I could get a good nap, long bath et.but no. I miss them like crazy already. Counting down the hours Til they get back home.
Course they are both major happy to be back at school with friends. Glad to see them so excited after such a hard summer from this crappy disease. My oldest ds had homework on the 2nd day of school. Seriously ??? Wth??? Schools certainly push kids slot harder then when I went to school.
-
smaarty...this round was better. Determined last time had severe dehydration, didn't realize that . That is when hubby got gallbladder out 2 days after my first chemo. Wasn't drinking in hospital, than slept the whole next day...hard to hydrate that way...lol...so they wanted me to come in 2 days after chemo this time to hydrate...after I got done laughing at them....they said ok, we will give you this round to see if you can do it better. Game on !! Still was in bed for a day and a half, but was back to jogging yesterday. So not to bad. Can't really drive or function normally for about five days...then I'm ok. Gonna get worse, but for now I can still do a lot. Cut my schedule way down. Just working about two weeks out of the month. Only got three more chemos left, so I want to have more fun days than work days over these next two years......i so love having fun
Have a great fun Filled day everyone

-
I agree. Beautiful pictures and beautiful, talented people.
My youngest daughter starts college next week. She moves in ti the dorms on Saturday. Then it will be just me.
-
OMD. I remember when DD moved into dorm 1st year. Only an hour away, I thought I was going to DIE!!!! I missed her so much!!!!
Then one day, I didn't. And realized I liked the peace and quiet. And realized that I had to trust that she was ok, and I couldn't worry.
And if the cops weren't knocking or calling, she was ok. And that worked for me.
-
Dutch...sorry I missed you
. Hugs your way...any plans for changing room around ? My daughter wouldn't let me...lol -
Dutch. Sounds painful. (((Hugs)))). Is the college close ? Even so, girls will be plenty busy as freshman on campus. You said youngest. Are their others that live super close ? Hope so. Hope you two are enjoying this last week: staying up late laughing, rollerblading lol whatever makes you guys laugh. Enjoy.
-
My daughter will go to college in our hometown bit is staying in the dorms this year. So I will keep her room the same only it may be cleaner.
Work is getting me down. It's not awful. Maybe I'm overly sensitive but I feel like I'm annoying people. I'm trying not to cry. I'm glad I don't work today.
-
Dutch. Complain away. That's what we are here for. Plenty to say to bco friends that wouldn't say to neighborhood friends and family.
-
Dulchi sending hugs your way, trying to hold back a few pages to catch up
-
Dutch, you have a lot going on right now, it's hard when the kids move on. I am so lucky, I get too see my kids all the time. DD stays with us at least one night a week for work. I loved your post a few days back. Helping a family member with his Eagle Scout project, sounds like you have a close family.
HootieHoo PeppermintPatty, hope you start to feel better....
Waving hello to all....
-
Susan u sound pretty good.
Dutch I csn't imagine u annoying anyone, so just put that out of u'r head. This is all new to you being alone, it will pass, u'll see.
I can't go back a page now and forgot what I wanted to say.
I just hope everyone is feeling OK at least. I really like to talk to u individually but this morning my brain is gone. I didn't sleep well, had my D during the night, didn't make it to the bathroom one time, Thank God for Depends. Oh well just another day.
-
Oh Cami, sorry for the mid night episode, but seems like you have it all under control!
I did NOT have empty nest syndrome, I was glad not to have anyone to clean up after or cook for!! I had become weary of it all! Had a few years break and now I have Grandkids and it's a whole new ball game, one which I'm ready to play!!
-
Oh man! I just got my Nook to work with my wi-fi modem from Century Link! The HARDest part, was trying to HEAR this gal from wherever, with these hearing aids....and trying to READ, the modem, which was connected, and sideways, with my reading glasses on, and a flashlight to give her a serial number!
THEN she reset the pass-word that was on the bottom that I finally FOUND, and it is NOW working, and downloaded by wi-fi from Barnes & Noble my 2 new books!
Dang.... I am tired.... I'm out of breath, and going to fix a chocolate coke! I SHOULD be too old for this monkey business! But I DID it!
I should be considered a genius for what I just did..... shut up Cammi! I need help.
-
August 27 2012. Was the day of my bc dx. How Wierd is that? I am having a revision surgery on the day of my 2 years mark anniversary
