THE WAY WE WERE......LOOKING BACK IS FUN

I had one of those computers too. And a thumbelina doll. My favorite doll was Baby First Step though. And my older cousin's baby desi Arnez doll.
-
Something different.
I has one of these as did my children and grandchildren. Most Kiwi children play with these.
This is Buzzy Bee. We give them to babies but in the hands of a three year they are great fun and drive parents crazy with the noise.
-
My all time favorite commercial. I'd like to buy the world a coke ...
-
Alyson, that Busy Bee is so cute. We had something like that but it wasn't a bee. I can't find a picture though. My kids had it when they were little. It was on a string and the head bobbed up and down when you pulled it along. I will keep looking for a picture.
-
Slow.....is this your Bee......and does anyone remember these riding horses....my son had one
-
I found it! It was a dog. Ducky, I remember the riding horse!
-
-
Anyone remember the show H.R. Pufnstuf?
Can't do a little cause he can't do enough.
-
Remember it, but my kids were too old for those toys...........
-
I had one of these.
-
But of course! Every sixth grade girl wanted a Mark Eden bust developer.
-
Slow.....isn't that the thigh master??MsP
-
Ok........LOL imagine using the "bust developer" on your thighs...............LOL......and the "thighmaster" on your boobs.....................and thinking ........WTH.............
-
Well, I thought it was a Thigh Master! I didn't know they made one for "bust development".
Just like me though - always a day late and a dollar short!!
-
LMAO Slow...and hey, it could be either one if you ask me. But, if memory serves, the bust one was smaller and more discreet...tee hee!
-
Ok, I'm 79, but I remember these damn things......the little balls rolled around and beat the hell out of your thighs and ass.....the belt shook the hell out of your entire body........LMAO......
-
ahhh ducky, Elaine Powers!!!
-
Slow and April - By golly, I think I have it! This was the 'original' Suzanne Somers ThighMaster:
And this was the Mark Eden 'Bust Developer':
-
LOL......yes Elaine Powers........Good Lord I have done them all...............LMAO........
although did not do either the bust enhancer, or the thighmaster........but I did do this......LOL..........and they were all her kids.............6..hmmm guess me having 6 was no excuse for being overweight....LOL
-
Oh yeah, Gloria Stevens too....LMAO! Six kids would make me want to clean all of their plates of the food they left and so you do have an excuse! Hey, am giving you an out..LOL.
-
April.........LMAO......and that is exactly what I did......never force your kids to clean their plate.......that's your job.......for all 6...............OK...WELL MAYBE NOT THEIR CORN ON THE COB...............LOL
-
Ducky, I've never seen those little ball things. I remember getting body wraps as very young adult - they wrapped you with ace bandages. I was skinny as a rail, I don't know what I was thinking.
-
Ok Miss Ducky....here are some CHEER you up memories.
I sure hope you remember some of these, because I sure don't. Way before my time.
Wait!! There's more!!
-
-
A few more and then I'll stop!!
Remember that show This Is Your Life? It's kinda like that, huh?
Well, hopefully it is - you may not remember any of these things. LOL
-
Remember all of them......Did you ladies know that the girl who plays Olivia on SVU is the daughter of Jayne Mansfield........just a little bit of trivia......her name is Mariska Hagaitay......or something like that...
-
Wow! I didn't know that....but I do know who she is.
Disregard that last PM - hahahahahaha
-
Well, I'm not old enough to remember any of those, but I do have ONE Christmas tree ornament like those from one of my grandmothers! I love vintage ornaments.
-
all of these photos are familiar to me....hmmmm, guess that means I am getting up there, eh? Oh well, those ornaments are still the most beautiful to me!
-
Remember the tinsel icicles that we "threw" on the Christmas tree branches and threw away with the tree after Christmas??? Probably a source of lead poisoning, along with the house paint!!MsP
