Grateful for AIR CONDITIONING!
-
July 21
Got dad off for home and am grateful that I had a few hours available to help mom. While she was out, we weeded, raked and reseeded her front lawn, set up her patio set, repositioned a picture and cleaned her garage. When we got home we were exhausted, but in a good way.
Onco, I totally knew you weren't complaining, just saying you were busy, but busy with good things! Moo
Ruth, today I wished for air conditioning.
-
7/22- grateful to be back home safely and had a GREAT time back east. Also glad to hear my delayed bag made it to the airport this morning. I am heading down to pick it up along with a $50 voucher for my next trip!

Batten down the hatches! The one good thing is that they blew in a lot cooler, less humid air than we had been having.
-
Hi pooh, glad to see you on line again. Send some of those desserts my way when you win the lottery. I am pretty sure I won last Friday's Lotto Max. I just haven't checked my ticket yet. Lol
July 22
Today I am grateful for the extra vacation day my supervisor let me take today. Went golfing with my DH and a couple of friends. It was good to see them.
I don't have air conditioning. Waaaa.
Gonna have to check the path of those storms. Anyone who is in their way, please take care.

7/25- grateful to be through my six month follow up. Trip to the BS today went well. Free of bc apts until early 2015 now.
Onco- enjoy your massage this afternoon. I have one coming up in about 90 min myself!
Red- congrats on your DD getting some wheels. It is hard to drive people around all the time.
-
Grateful that I FINALLY quit procrastinating and cleaned my house!
-
grateful that I got a jump start on the weekend by getting a couple of loads of laundry done and the kitchen cleaned, Saturday chores done on a friday

July 26
Grateful that I had my GD overnight last night. We watched Twilight (cringe - I didn't even know I owned it) and played and just had a lovely time together.
Cheryl, wish I'd done that, but my GD came first last night. Now I'm stuck with Saturday chores on a Saturday.
Jazzy, for sure. Example, my DD picked her daughter up a few minutes ago, I didn't have to drive her home. Yay! Glad your appointment went well.
Ruth, good going on the housework. I need to get on mine too.
Onco, massage, mmmmm.
-
7/26- enjoyed playing some jazz this morning with some friends at a jam session. Something I have not done before everything happened in 2012, and something I am now adding back into my life once again.
I was warmly welcomed back by my music community, and it made me feel SO good!
-
Grateful that I got in a 45 minute fast and sweating walk today inside one of our 3 area malls. Too hot and humid outside. I am so grateful for indoor malls.
Jazzygirl, so happy you are back into your music scene. Music makes life worth living and what a sad world it would be without it..
