Onco, your cataract surgery is going to be very eye opening. Moo. Lol. Not to worry a bit. It's a very old op that has worked for everyone I know who has had it. Including both my parents.

Very grateful for a lovely and productive day with my DH. Having shish kabobs and salad and corn on the cob for dinner. Maybe he'll help me prep it all. ;-)

Today I am grateful for being one step closer to completing a project at work that I have been involved with for 6 months. If this last detail would just fall into place, it would be done.

Grateful that a nice young man unloaded a huge mailing out of my car today while I was inside doing paperwork.

I am grateful for my long time friend, Dennis, who is coming to help my DH trim back the bushes that are overwhelming my front garden. He is a true gardener and I think it just hurt him to look at them whenever he visited. Lol

It has been far too long since I posted here. not to say I am ungrateful or anything just haven't been spending a lot of time here. Trying to move forward and not think about BC all the time. I am grateful my Mom is out of the hospital and is on the mend for heart issue. Praising and thanking God. -
Grateful today for a whole lot To be here for my 60th birthday. Almost 3 years ago I wasn't sure an then again last August when dx with mets, was very unsure. 60 is good And for my kids who made my day very special. And my dd, 16 got her permit today , I think I am grateful for that!!

Today I am grateful for cell phones. Without mine I wouldn't be on BCO as much as I am because I hate turning on my computer when I get home. When you're on it all day...
Also grateful for a nice walk with my dog and cat last night.

Grateful that while I have been uber-busy these last couple of weeks caring for my parents, I have written down things I am grateful for each day. Been lurking on this thread when I can and happy to read so many good things for so many of you.

July 19
Happy to have a fairly quiet day with my dad, who is here for a long weekend. We laughed. Looked at pictures. Did Lumosity together. It was a nice day.
July 20
Glad to be able to take dad to the ribs'n'beer fest with my DH. There was a lot of food, a lot of beer, great music and we ran into a bunch of folks we knew. After we came home, my son, his wife and two kids came over to see dad.....and we ate again! hamburgers hot dogs corn on the cob and homemade blueberry pie!
