how about drinking?

Thanks, Janis.
Debate doesn't upset me. It's getting philosophical that I find upsetting.
(and I just misspelled philosophical about three times!) -

oh crap...just dropped and busted my last bottle of wine on the floor. aaaauuuuggghhhh. Guess it either a straw to suck it up or peanut butter cup ice cream. Guess I'm stuck with ice cream until tomorrow. Have one for me ladies.
(((Newvickie)))
I'd gladly share mine if you lived nearby..... I say get a sponge, soak it up and if there are any germs, well, isn't that what alcohol is for? -
Don't fret Vicki. After 4 glasses of wine it isn't being philosophical, it's being full of bullshit!! lmao!!
-
philosophical, I think it's right, isn't it?

Bring a straw Lini...pretty sure there is more running under the d*mn refrigerator!! Nathaniel's kitten thought she'd give it a try...wish I'd have gotten a picture of that, poor cat...sneezing and coughing.
A loooong time ago I got my first cocker spaniel drunk on some herbal wine. As soon as I realized she was drunk I didn't give her anymore but it was cute. Hey, she liked it! -
Ahhh...see Lini...sisters through and through.
Jaybird...wasn't even worried about germs (wow that's something new after 4 months of chemo I'm no longer worried about germs!)...just needed the alcohol...LOL.
Chicago isn't that far away...we can hook up with Teena too!!! Imagine the trouble we could get into! -

Holy crap! Am I THAT transparent??!?!?!?!?!?
-
Lini..philosophical...yeah...I think thats right, now cut it out, your making my chemo addled brain hurt.
I love this thread even without my wine. -
Actually Chicago and NY are NOT all that close but hey come on by anytime! I always have an extra bed and usually have extra wine!
-
Yeah but Chicago is a lot closer than Florida and I've driven there twice!! Flying to Florida in two weeks to stay a week with my daughter on Cocoa Beach...wooohooo! Drinking on the beach...can't wait.
-
do you have extra beer janis??????
i'll be in chicago thursday night and throughout the labour day weekend! -
uh oh Janis...now look what you started!!! Me, shelshocked and Teena...look out Chicago.
-
Distance depends on how many frequent flier miles you have! Chi and NY can be very close... Janis, are you in the city or suburbs? I'm about 4 miles from Wrigley Field, which means I have a house with no land. And seriously Vickie, mophead? Doesn't anyone deliver?
-
ppppfffftttt....delivery out here where I am...nope, no such luck. I'm out in the sticks with the coyotes and bears. I sold my daughters parrot for her when she moved to Florida to a women who came out here to pick it up on the first day of deer season...she got lost and by the time she got here she was terrified. Said that all she saw were men in pickups with guns wearing camo and thought she was in the movie "Deliverance". Seriously...she said she would NEVER travel out here again. It was pretty funny.
-
Camo, guns, deliverance, Oh my!!
-
I actually feel safer here than anyplace I have ever lived...we never lock doors, leave our keys in our cars...just that kind of place.
Well...it was...probably just screwed that up...every thief in a 20 mile radius will come looking for me. -
Chicago is a central meeting point...
-
Watching this stupid hurricane...man if it hits the hotel I'm supposed to be staying at in less than two weeks I'm going to be seriously ticked off. I'll have to build a grass hut and camp on the beach!
Oh too bed ladies...work tomorrow. Have a drink on me (or my floor!)
Hugs all
Vickie
Lini...you'd be perfectly safe here...no one messes with this menopausal women...I even scare my boss! -
I was actually being facetious and referring to some stuff that went on last night regarding guns. I better stop.
-
Dang! Where you gonna be? I'm off Fri AND Sat! You have any free time? I'm serious!!! Ogh, and I do have some beer, but mostly wine and scotch.
-

I'm in Glen Ellyn (unincorporated, the cheap part) so basically no house but LAND. There are a lot of us in relatively close proximity so watch for a get-together. -
omni hotel downtown chicago!!!!!!!!!
-
I missed a big party here tonight. Met my non-BC friends for happy hour.
Teena welcome!
Janis and all other Chicagoland Gals, if it wasn't Labor Day weekend and previous arrangements, I'd be there in a minute (well, really about 4.5 hrs)
OH and about the third nip, my friend's is really small too. Looks like a mole, right in the center of his chest.
Shel, have fun in Chi, eat a hot dog and some pizza. Weren't you just there, or was it someone else? -
was me lol!
-
Oh, sure, you have to be Downtown on the weekend! Well, I'll PM you my phone numbers and maybe we can hook-up.
-
Hmmm.... mine is right in line with the other one. I've never heard of a nipple being in the cenetr of a chest before. Maybe it is a mole and he's just a nippler-wannabe?

I lived in the unincorporated part of Glen Ellyn for 9 years!!! Wish I were still there so we could share a few .or more.....cocktails......... -
How come you get to travel so much, shel?
-
cause i'm such a good girl??????? lolololol!!!!!!!
-
I'm a good girl and all I get to do is go to my kid's soccer games. That's my travel. Actually, it ain't so bad 'cause we have a pretty fun group of parents that like to have fun. We'll be in San Diego this weekend.
