how about drinking?

How is it that I have spent almost 2 years on and off this site and never saw this group? Is there room for one more at the bar? Vickie, I have a spare bucket for you... 4 days with no vino makes teena a mildly grumpy girl.
-
Hey welcome teena...sure have missed you, vino it is...and lots of it! There always seems to be room at the bar here...what do you think of the tattoo idea...sounds much easier than your reconstruction!!!
-
Welcome and cheers!
-
I opted for a dirty martini tonight. My pome juice went bad. I was so craving a pome martini.
Teena - Glad you finally made it over to the best thread here. No fuss, no muss, just good times. -
Hey Teena, do you live in the city or the 'burbs? What's your drink of choice? Again, welcome.
-
<elbowing my way up to the bar>
I'm on my third (maybe fourth?) merlot...and I just got philosophical over in debate. Time to join the drinkers, methinks... -
gray goose is my friend!!!!!
-
oops sorry........."grey" goose is my friend lololol!
us canucks have no clue how to spell!!!!!!! -
Hi Vicki,
I knew you'd be over soon. I'd much rather talk about unimportant crap like favorite drinks and stuff. -
Okay, so the alternative thread has got me freaked out, I am tired of reading about nutrition and supplements. So, I googled "organic wine" and one of my faves is on the list!
WOO HOO! YAY to "Frog's Leap"
I am drinking in good conscience. -
My tummy is starting to burn from my martini. I think I'm going to have to give it up.
-
The brand is Frog's Leap? Where do you get it and which varieties do the make. I need to get a conscience. PC and all that BS
-
oh crap...just dropped and busted my last bottle of wine on the floor. aaaauuuuggghhhh. Guess it either a straw to suck it up or peanut butter cup ice cream. Guess I'm stuck with ice cream until tomorrow. Have one for me ladies.
-
That's no good Vickie. Maybe Vicki will share her Frog's Leap, if she has any left??
-
I love to share. Let me look at the bottle...I think it's a California...yep, "Rutherford, CA" wherever that is!
It is available here in CT...pricier than my usual $9.99 bottle, though!
Cheers! -
-
Bring a straw Lini...pretty sure there is more running under the d*mn refrigerator!! Nathaniel's kitten thought she'd give it a try...wish I'd have gotten a picture of that, poor cat...sneezing and coughing.
-
Oh, I hate cleaning up messes like that, but I'll come by with my mop and help out. Poor kitty. Hope she doesn't get sick. Then it'll be cat puke to clean up. I'll leave that one to you.
-
hmmm...caught two flies at frogsleap! No wine though.
-
Jan - Sounds like you had a great time!! Nothing wrong with having fun!
Cheers!
Donna -
Thanks for the warm welcome! Lini- I just posted back to you on the reconstruction site. Thinking I should have posted my hospital release story here? Janice, I'm on the Northside, you? And although I love a good Filty Goose Martini, tonite it's J. Lohr Chardonnay. Needed to wean my way back in after Friday's surgery.
-
Vickie - are you crying? How long has it been since you mopped....has the wine been on the floor longer than 5 seconds? Get the straw.
Teena - welcome! There is always an open seat at the bar here.
I had a rum & coke, but I am wanting to open a bottle of wine....
Trying to be good for the wasteline, but it never seems to work out that way. And I wonder why I can't lose any weight.
Cheers (with rum for now)
Donna -
Donna...am I crying?...no I'm friggin hysterical! Done mopping up except for under the fridge, that sucker is heavy! Deep breath...ok...going for the ice cream now.
Cheers (with peanut butter cup ice cream...darn) -
How 'bout Daquiri Ice? I always loved that one as a kid.
Yum that sounds good. -
Just thought of something...it was a brand new mop head...could have squeezed it out into a glass and at least got a little buzz...LOL
-
Oh too funny, vickie.
-
Well Vickie, I've been wondering what to send you for your birthday- and now I know. Thanks for making shopping so easy! And it took me until now to realize your avitar is not you as a child...

Well, I'm not one to complain( ) but WTF? It's a frickin' Debate board which explicitly states under it's description that controversial subjects might upset some who enter.
Yep, this thread is the best! Enjoy your wine! -
Nope...that's a picture I found called "butterfly kisses" that just makes me feel like she's the little girl inside me waiting to heal and getting butterfly kisses all day.
-
That's so ironic, vickie. I just posted on teena's thread that I'm a caterpillar undergoing a metamorphosis, no more than a minute ago.
