6/28- grateful to get back to the gym and the aqua zumba class this Saturday morning. I also discovered I gained five pounds the past two weeks so that gave me a solid reality check that I need to get back into my exercise and careful eating again!

Yesterday grateful I managed to get my forklift started it has been giving me trouble and I had a big delivery and really didn't want to have to unload by hand. Today grateful that I found something I had lost, have been tearing my house apart but it turned up this morning when I pulled the sheets off my bed to go into the wash there it was.

Last night I went to our local high school's fabulous presentation of the musical Grease. I am grateful for kids, teachers, and volunteers who are willing to put in what was obviously a lot of hard work to put on a great show.

Grateful to be enjoying these few days with my kids.  Yesterday the san Diego Zoo and the beach.  Today LaJolla before we head up to Disney for my conference.  It is all about the time and memories.

The two adult kids of a good friend and my DH were all in town last night & the 'kids' all went to a movie with their moms (us) & then out for ice cream & a nice visit. Grateful for times like that.

Grateful for my sweet little church on the corner down the street from where I live.  I call it "The Little Church with the Big Heart" because is is a place of grace and love.

Grateful today that my niece and nephew and my best friend were all sitting in my backyard with my DH when I got up this morning. (9am I slept in!) Even better when three  of my children and three of my grandkids showed up half an hour later. What a lovely way to start a relaxing day!

A friend of mine died a year ago, and her DH's dream was to plant a memorial garden in front of the school where she worked. I have another friend who is a master gardener and LOVES doing things like that. So I am grateful that I was able to get the two of them together & yesterday a group of us were able to meet (and under the direction of the master gardener), get the much-talked-about project done.

Thanks Onco. What is Sons of Norway?

    Cheryl, that's truly amazing!

Grateful for the good report pertaining to my uterus and ovaries yesterday from my wonderful gynecologist.  A woman could not find a nicer doctor plus she is close in age to me, late sixties.  Thankful for ultrasound technology.

Grateful for a nice Canada Day despite working. Sat by the pool with my DH in the late afternoon then had Swiss Chalet chicken for dinner (what's more Cdn than that?) Then my hubby surprised me with sparklers when it got dark.

My poor lab doesn't like Canada Day though - or any other days with fireworks. I'm sure everyone will be setting off more for Independence Day, so this is a bad week for her. Poor baby.

Agree on a bad week for our doggies Red there is lots of 'banging' going on around here and our dog is not happy.

Grateful that I got to spend time today with a client and his beautiful dog, it was lovely when the door opened up and this happy bouncy girl came running to greet me.

Grateful that my two cats don't care about firework noises at all .....they just kind of roll their eyes, and shift their napping positions ......Cats With Attitudes!

Lol Ruth. My cat doesn't care either.

Today I am grateful that I am getting Friday afternoon off. I had to work Canada Day so I think I'll put up an American flag and celebrate Independence Day with you ladies.

Cheryl, sorry about your dog being scared. It's pretty universal though isn't it. I don't know too many dogs that do like fireworks.
