how about drinking?

Oh, Lini, easier said than done! No harm, no foul. "Someone worthy of me" yes, well, thanks for the thouhts but don't hold your breath as I'm not going to! I already have a 'date' set up this week with an old flame (and he's old but GOOD)either for Wed or Thurs night. I'll keep y'all posted!
Long story short on him is that he's a pilot whom I use to date (for four years!). No one can accuse me of fly by nights! I'll keep y'all posted! -
ummm, pilots are GOOOOOD! lol!
-
((((Jay)))
J's loss. You were too good for him anyway
Hugs

Just catching up after working tonight.
Janis - the guy I just ended it with had a bunch of sh*t too. Overweight, anger issues, lack of faith (spritually, for God's sake, believe in something!) We have survived cancer and should not "settle" That is my new motto.
Once again, one of the last ones up. G'nite. -
So Janis, does that mean you're a member of the Mile High Club?
Donna -
lol donna, that's a fond memory for me!
hey you guys..........where is rondab? -
So who ever made 5:00 the respectable drinking hour. Had a bad day and just wanted Oprah to talk a little faster so I could respecfully open my wine!!!!!!!!! Done deal. Just wonder if I will kill that whole bottle tonight!!!!!!!!! Cheers!
-
5:00 is indeed the respectable hour for drinking- but remember, it's always 5:00 somewhere
Now I'm all thirsty and will have to go grab that nice cold beer in my fridge.
Take Care

Hello Party Gals,
I'm about to dig out the blender. Husband is working late and I have forums to read and catch up on! Today while in my "Waiting for Bx Results Stupor" I not only started a load of laundry and then forgot to put the clothes in (was surprised later to see a washer full of water and nothing else!) but then I later left the house for an appt. without putting deodorant on... and was wearing a tank top. It was only an appt at the vet's for some vaccinations, etc but still.
A "duh!" kind of day, for me. Where's the rum?
DogMother Michelle -
Okay, it's 4:30ish and I left the house at 8:15 for 9:20 and 10:00 appts. this morning. Wound up needing an ultrasound for possible fibroids (just what I need) and didn't want to come back another day so waited for a 2:40 cancellation. Had bloodwork to do in between so went pretty fast, but didn't eat all day so now I'm starving and waiting for dinner, but enjoying a glass of vino before. Probably be totally buzzed in 5 minutes. Sorry, ramble ramble. I'm done.
-
I hijacked some moonshine from the "circle the wagons" thread...willing to share. Oh wait...I'm supposed to stay there?!? They do have some pretty good looking cowboys hanging out there though. I'd take one but my mind would be say "OH YEAH" and as usual my body would say "I don't hardly think so honey."
Wow lini...busy day for you...fibroids it WILL be or nothing at all!!! -
Thanks, Vickie. I'm not all that worried, but my DH is a bit freaked. I think in the future I'll just keep it to myself.

Dazed,
Um, Oprah is on here in Chicago at 9 a.m! I think perhaps she's on later in Fla?
Cheers!
And, no Donna, never did "it" on a plane. How gross! Plus, I didn't want to lose my job! The pilot and I did it at his place, my place, or on layovers! -
My mom just flew Alaska Air and said that the bathrooms were disgustingly dirty and smelled horrific. I don't think I'd want to do it in there either, but the COCKpit has to be a bit cleaner.
-
lol..........i'm not even going to go there!!!!!!
-
off topic ladies.........the bouquet has been sent.
somebody let me know that she got it ok?.......i'm outta town for a few days with "iffy" internet access.
"cheers" -
Have fun where ever you be!! Relax and rest up 'cause Dave will be waiting.
-

OK, THAT is hilarious. "Lay-overs!" And sorry that he proved to be an immature turd. YOU can do SO MUCH better! And you deserve better! Go, girl!
DogMother -
The COCKpit, love it!!
Hey Janis, I figured with your connections and all that maybe you and the pilot got your mojo going after everyone else got off. (the plane, that is)
Just kidding. Couldn't resist.
Cheers!
Donna -
Cheers, it's a nother cooler night, think I'm getting back in the habit of having a drink every night! Uhmmmm is that a bad thing??????

Girls I dont have any words to express the kindness all of you have shown me.When I got home yesterday from my first repeat chemo treatment there was a wonderful flower arrangement waiting for me with a beautiful teddy bear.It is the most precious thing I have ever seen.No it was not from a family member or even someone near by it was from.
Shel,Lini,Janis,Rhymee,No Surrender,Christinek,Carrie and Nicki of bc.org.
Tears fill my eyes as i write this.It was so unexpected and such a wonderful suprise.
I am going to try and attach a picture for all to see.and am going to change my avitar so you can see what I look like,I think I would like for you to put a face with your prayers and in the wagon train.
Forgive me but I am going to cross post this so that the girls above will be sure and see that I got their lovely gift.
I also want to thank each and every one of you for your thoughts and prayers and watching over me as I rest. With you on my side how can I loose? I have so much to live for.I can feel the chemo surrounding the tumors as we speak and is sucking the life out of them.
I will try and keep you posted and if something happens I will have my daughter post as to what is going on.
Thank you once again dear sisters. This is something that I pray none of you ever have to go thru again.
Love to all of you.
