100 Days of Gratitude
Comments

I am grateful for a handheld steamer. It has made wallpaper removal so much easier. We've finished the kitchen remodel so it's on to the dining room.
Pooh...I have to confess, I'm a little jealous. I have college age sons and don't get the long hugs.
-
It's sunny and warm. In fact it's even warmer than I thought it was—64 whole degrees Fahrenheit. Woohooo! Maybe my toes will finally thaw out. I thought they were numb because of back injury, but my back is so much better now I think they have just been frozen all winter. One more way I take after my dad, he had very poor circulation in his extremities. Thank heaven my fingers are not as bad as my toes!

about the foam roller - is a swim noodle a good substitute?
-
Today I am grateful for a really fun 'road trip' with some girlfriends; walking, talking, eating, shopping, and laughing were all on the agenda.
-
3/12- I am grateful to be through the second anniversary of my mothers passing. I know they get easier as time goes on, but not quite yet.....
-
Jazzy, it never gets easier. So sorry for your loss.
-
Jazzy I'm so sorry and it's almost 30 years for me and not a day goes by when I don't think of my Mum. No Maddy the foam roller is much sturdier and fatter, here's a picture I can't get it to go smaller, sorry.
-
Grateful this morning that the office is closed due to the weather.....yippie...going back to bed .
zzzzzzzzzzzz
-
Missed yesterday - have no idea what I was doing but anyway
Wednesday - grateful the car salesman was willing to spend the time doing a tutorial on how to start my new car (yeah over the weekend) as it has keyless entry and start
Thursday - just for the day and being here. It is difficult to be grateful here today in New England , again 27 and snowing. Really it is March!!!
Be well

Day #72
Today I am grateful for the visits from my daughter and gdaughter and then one from my best friend yesterday. It was fun to laugh with them all.
-
Today I'm grateful for leftovers, so I don't have to cook dinner after a long day of removing wallpaper.
-
I love history, so I am grateful that I got to substitute for a 7th grade American History teacher today. Very fun day talking about mountain men, the hardships of pioneers on the Oregon Trail etc. (very fun for me anyway, not sure if it was for the kids
).
-
Ruth, of course it was fun for the kids! What a great subject to have to substitute for!!!
-
Ladies, I must apologize in advance for what you are about to see. I simply have no excuse for this inexplicable behaviour by a fellow Canadian. I can only assume that the cold weather has had an effect.
Once again, I apologize.
-
I know! I have a special education background, so often get called for the remedial & alternative classes. I love those kids too, but it is really fun to get to go in a 'regular' classroom & talk about a subject I just plain love.

-
I am grateful it decided not to rain today after all.
-
Grateful that I wrote a snippet of my memoir today. Writing a complete memoir is a goal I have set for myself this year. When you begin to write, more memories will surface for you.
-
Lol Red, really? It was that big? Wow!!!!
Missed yesterday so here goes,
I was grateful to get back safely from a quick trip to the city for an xray on my knee.
Today I'm grateful to be able to sleep in as I was exhausted!..........yup, one the result of the other......lol.
-
grateful that I finally finished a nightmare job, one of those jobs that if anything could have gone wrong it did but hooray it's finished, finally, after three days
-
Grateful for my new washing machine which arrived bright and early this am. I see the pile of clothes on the laundry room floor disappearing!
-
Day 73
Today I am grateful for many things. It just happens that way sometimes.
Last night 2 of my granddaughters came for a sleep over, we watched a couple of song and dance type movies together. This was excellent! It got better when my 2 daughters decided to stay for the first movie. All 5 of us on the bed together watching Pitch Perfect. I am now listening to two 11 year olds laughing over breakfast. I am grateful indeed.
-
I love those family times!
I am grateful because my sister and I, who have been playing 'phone tag' for a week now, finally got in a long, long chat. (1 hour & 33 minutes, according to my cellphone!)
-
March 14th- I am grateful for my yoga practice. It helped me to decompress last night after a very stressful week.
-
I am grateful for being alone in the house for 3 hours. Daughter and grandsons are at a friend's house and DH at work…..
-
Mapgirl, I find alone time as important as family time. Good for you!
Yes, Chrissy, can you believe it? Usually Canadians are much more controlled. I am just so aghast at this outburst of emotion!
Ruth, I love those times too.
-
Red : LOL re : Canadian Riot picture.
Today grateful for having enough "Jelly in the belly" to the point where I don't feel my Zoladex shots AT ALL.....
(I use an ice pack too) !!!!
On a more serious note ...grateful for this little quote I saw ......
"Peace of mind is the result of retraining your mind to process life as it is rather than as you think it should be" .
Have a great weekend Ladies.!!!!!!!
FRIDAY........... YEEEEEEE HAAAAAAA .........
-
-
Pooh- very similar to my quote about people by Maya Angelou which is "see things and people as they are, not as you wish them to be." I am done with denial!
-
mapgirl, I can relate. Grateful for a trip to Lowes this afternoon, all alone, windows down, singing with the radio and doing a little car dancing. Life is Good!
