I am grateful for milder weather. It's supposed to get up to the high 50's today, and the prediction for later this week is that it will clear up &  stop raining so much for a few days. Yippeee!

this has been a day that I've struggled to find something I'm grateful for. But, even on the hard days I'm grateful for life, something I thought was over when I received a cancer diagnosis.

I haven't posted here in awhile...but I am grateful for this site and grateful to the many ladies who make me laugh on the different threads I read.  You all don't know who you are but I thank God for the laughter you all have given me.  For some reason it is too hard for me to keep up with threads and to comment often...but I do appreciate this place a lot.

Chrissy, a new hip? O I had no idea it was that bad. Sorry (((Chrissy)))

    Onco, what's a foam roller?

Lovewins, you are more than welcome to join us whenever you can. ((hugs)

Day 69: had my last follow up appt with my wonderful PS today. She is very pleased with the results and so am I. While I was there (25 miles from home), I got a later appointment with my PCP (who's just across the hall) to see what to do with this awful cough (and sore throat and lack of sleep). PCP wasn't available, but her NP was. She gave me some different meds for my allergies, hoping they help. 2 appointments today, 2 tomorrow. Fun! (sarcastic voice here)

Also found out I may have the opportunity to go on a women's treat up in the mountains this weekend. I went 2011 and 2012 with a great group of friends. There was snow both weekends. Had to miss last due to being in the recon process. Just not up to it. This year, money is limited so I applies for a scholarship beginning of the year. LOTS of calls, emails, and texts to ensure it was received which have gone unanswered. Then, finally told It was received and I would be notified either way by end of February and again, no response. I was finally told the other day they never the request. Huh? Sent copies of everything (thank you email and cell phone records!). I was exhausted when I got home from dr appts - plus a whopping migraine, and wouldn't you know, I needed to finalize everything last night, but coughing so hard and migraine, couldn't tolerate any sound. So I think I missed my chance. Oh well, guess it wasn't meant to be.

Onco, is it a roller made of foam or does it roll foam? What's it do?

OK, kind of strange because I know God doesn't have time for tiny requests or ones done tongue in cheek, but as soon as I posted that. I went back to my favorites and there was a PM telling we what a foam roller was. Wow.

Grateful that a person who wasn't feeling well as she  went to hug me pulled back and said "oh don't want to pass anything on if it's a bug"

Red I've been trying to insert a picture of a foam roller but it won't load so here goes - it's like a round booster pillow except that it's hard, made of foam, you lay on it and roll back and forth, it works out all the kinks in your muscles, you can roll your shoulders, your back, your hamstrings - it hurts but it hurts good.
