I have to log in but not out.  When I close the window I get logged out.

Mods - same as Marple above and also finding the speed of my typing is too much for the system now.

Also am getting "security alerts" constantly - moving from thread to thread.

What on earth did you  guys do to your site when you did routine maintenance the other day?  Really, I cannot change my diagnosis, for days it is telling me there is a tech glitch or whatever.  I tried answering a post twice, and was told "something went wrong" and the post disappeared, I have to keep logging in over and over again, but before I log in somehow it is telling me there are new posts in my favorites????  How can I have favorites if I am not logged in????   WHAT did you do????

Yep, I'm experiencing the same frustrations having to log-in every time I come back to my computer.  I understand when I log-in on a different device but not on the same computer. Anyway, hope this gets fixed soon.

Trying to view posts made after I have last logged in on a device get the 'Something went wrong'.  Logging out and logging back in seems to clear the problem.

Yep, I keep getting "something went wrong" and then my post disappears, then it gets added, causing me to answer a post twice.  I then tried to delete one of the two posts only to be told "something went wrong" again.

I agree, "something" went wrong, and it all started after your "routine maintenance" on Thursday.

We have reported all the issues to the tech team, thus far. We too are frustrated. Sorry that it is so frustrating. It WILL all get fixed

...much less frustrating than waiting for all the test results....

Thanks, eric95us for putting it in perspective!

Seems the techs need to double check their programming before changing anything in future as this happens every single time 'routine maintenance' is done.   Yes, it gets a bit old hat and very frustrating for us but what about the newbies coming in?  This is the sort of thing that tends to push them to some other site or nowhere at all which is a very sad situation for them.

Sorry Mods, you do a damn good job but your techs need to lift their game!

Many threads I'm getting "We're sorry but something went wrong".

MelissaDallas, we've found that restarting the browser (which will require logging in again) is a temporary work-around for that "sorry" message. We're looking forward to a better fix too!

Agree Chrissy - how would routine maintenance affect the login process - they need to test their code, like I always do :)

I still have the 'not staying logged in when I close the window' problem.  Maybe when I reboot it will work.

Hope I'm not dreaming, but when I went to BC. Org just now, I did not have to log in --- it came up just as it always did before.  Hopefully, we are back in business where this "glitch" is concerned.

    Thanks

    Mods,

I'm shutting down here for the night but since I put in the above message.....I've been able to go to BC Org. several times and it is there and open for me the minute I hit it on my favorites list.  I'll see how it does when I'm away over-night.  Have a positive feeling, but crossing my fingers just in case.

Mods, I just got the Sorry, something went wrong message too, had to log back in and apparently it posted anyway. (I'm on an iPad). Also, when I pull up threads it's brings me back to much earlier than the last post I read but it's not consistent

Just got the something went wrong message again. Never had it before, now twice in a row.

Hmmm. Make that 3 in a row. Tell the techs they're going backwards......

Maddy, when you logged back in, did you restart your browser? If not, can you give that a try, and let us know if it helps?

ok, I turned the iPad totally off and came back to BCO, attempted a post, got the message, it posted anyway.

Then, got back to home screen, went through the browser, even logged in fresh (haven't needed to do that), guess what, same error message, but it did post.

Batting 1000, so I'm giving up tonight. Please pass on to techs that I never had this problem until tonight. This isn't helping my migraine, so I'm done tonight.

    Best of luck!

Maddy, thanks for trying, and we hope the migraine's better soon, along with the boards. Reported to the techs that the error's still happening.

chabba, thanks for letting us know that there's some good news!

I'm back. Also forgot to mention that several threads, when I click on them they return to posts I've already read (too of page, previous page, several posts prior to my last post). Very strange (and confusing)

just happened on Retreat for Peaceful Contemplation:

    https://community.breastcancer.org/forum/102/topic...

and earlier on Insomniacs. Not sure about others

Oh, but wait, didn't get error messages for post/edits. Cool

Added: just updated Inland Empire area of California thread with no problems whatsoever

Ok, I do have to call it a night and go to sleep, really!

Night mods, thank the techs for me!
