    Day #64

Today I am grateful that I only have to work 1/2 days now. I was doing 7 hrs, now I'll only be doing 5 1/2 hrs.

    Ziggy, niece/daughter/goddaughter? There's a story there!

I am very grateful for Brook's athletic shoes which have enabled my inflamed bunion to return to being pain-free. No more walking around in shoes without really good arch supports.  Getting older is so grand!!!

Day 64: grateful that I've realized my horrible sugar addiction is disappearing. DH's chocolate chip cookies were sitting for days and they didn't call to me. Glad they're gone now.

DH's sister & brother-in-law came into town last night (they are here on business). Grateful for the nice, long chat we had late into the evening.

Grateful today for friends who take my phone call when I want to pull my hair out with my kids and for laughing with me at the insanity of teens.

    Day #64

Welcome Jazzy. Congrats on 1 year.

Curve, what hobby is so absorbing? Just curious.

Ruth, I love evenings when the talk just flows and everyone is enjoying.

Maddy, I didn't know you lubbed your sugah! Lol. Good for you for kicking that habit.

Today I am grateful that the scheduled maintenance for BCO discussion board is over. I was going thru withdrawal today ;-)

Well DH worked through my entire chemo treatment at the hospital.  Then decided he needed to go into work at 3:30 PM.  Not inviting him to my last treatment!

I am thankful for my beautiful daughter and all of the time she spends with me during this journey.

RedReading- I know so many back east/up north are still in the throws of winter. This is to remind you of the promise of spring which always comes.....

Yay for clean the clean MRI, Pooh - I love to hear that kind of news.

Jazzy, beautiful and I am jealous too.

Red, I got to help take care of my niece (who is also my God-daughter) for the first 13 years of her life, so she has alwasy called me her second mama (luckily her own mama is okay with that; they have a very wonderful relationship).

March 4th - Today I am grateful that my brother was in town for the weekend.

March 5th - Today I am grateful that I have a laptop, because occasionally I realize how lost I would be without it.

March 6th - Today I am grateful that in a few short days I will be on a plane to Florida! Yay.. no snow!

@RedReading, the hobby is genealogy. I am in the process of entering
all my research notes into Ancestry, with the eventual goal of creating a
printed book of my family tree that tells what we know and how we know
it. The notes have accumulated over many years, so even though right now
it is just a big bunch of data entry, it's fun to see the things that
we found out so long ago I had forgotten that we knew them.

    Today I
am grateful because I hear a frog in my yard, at least I think it's a
frog. I heard it just a minute ago and I don't think birds sing after
dark. Anyway, it sounds like a frog. When I lived in Seattle I was
always surprised at how seldom I saw any frogs, compared to where I
lived in the Bay Area which was a much drier climate. Maybe I will have
to change my garden plans to include a little pond for them....

added later—I forgot to say I'm glad you were able to get your hours reduced during rads. I remember you mentioned how long it took to get there and it sounded like way too much on top of working 8 hours a day!

Day 65: grateful I attended a job search, resume/cover letter writing, and interviewing workshop. I thought it would be boring but this topic is the passion of the presenter and she presented ideas in a very interesting way. Thought it was going to be boring but it was just the opposite.

    Day #65

Today I am grateful that I am allowed to wear jeans on Fridays. So nice to just get up, shower and throw them on instead of having to plan my wardrobe.

Ziggy, it's lovely you have that kind of close relationship with your niece(etc). How old is she now?

Curve, that sounds like fun. I am often surprised by old pictures I find. I wonder, who is that person, sometimes. And I can't wait till Tuesday - last day of work for a couple of weeks.

Maddy, glad you enjoyed the workshop. A good presenter makes all the difference.

I am grateful that I feel a little better today.

I am grateful that even though I lost a friend to lung cancer last night, I know she's in Heaven, not hurting  anymore.
