John McCain is just a bitter old man (re: 2008) and Lindsay Graham is trying to fend of a Tea Partier in his primary, so needs to show he hates Obama, over and over. Their personal needs are more important than our national security! John Bolton just wants American to control the world - those neoconservative fascists will never die.
I'm "following" a few Russian Devon Rex sites on FB and one breeder has been posting opinion pages, and her own opinions, vis a vis this Ukraine situation. I put them through google translator and it is quite interesting. She is very nationalistic, not necessarily pro-Putin, but the general thought pattern is that the United States wants to expand NATO and the Ukraine situation gives "us" one more opportunity to get closer to the Russian border. Remember the leaked phone call between one of our Asst Secretaries of State and the US ambassador in Kiev discussing Ukraine's future government and backing of anti-Kremlin demonstrators during the Oympics? In another piece posted, there was mention of paid anti-Kremlin demonstrators being brought in from Moldavia.
Also, the story of Iraq and those pesky WMDs is not lost on this Russian woman. She compared how we don't give much help to Mexico versus the financial generosity of Russia to the Ukraine (I don't know how comparable this is, it was more the thought) - ofcourse, now the EU and the US are going to plow billions into the Ukraine to buy favor.

Blue .. those are my sentiments exactly. Die.Winter.Die. It's actually pretty nice here this afternoon ... but it's not supposed to last. Maybe Friday's snow storm will be the last of the season. Clinging to the note Carrots wrote about this being the last big hurrah for winter.
How are Josie and Benjamin doing? Can't wait to see some pictures.
Been working on my mailings today. I have about 70 addresses left on this forensic psych list. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers that I will get a response ... even one would really help. I just don't have the funds to get someone to create a website for me. I tried doing two different ones on my own with a free provider. They just didn't look professional enough.
hugs,
Bren

Blue - I can't get past the mouth on that cat!
News to some, we can post pretty pictures and have thoughts about world events at the same time. It's called brain power

-
Hahaha! Kam, I guess it should be one or the other. Their lives may consist of ridicule for anyone that doesn't think like them but I have a life where there is a lot of beauty and my brain is still sharp enough to have an opinion.....well for now! hahahaha!

Bren Benjamin is doing well but poor Josie is having a rough go of it. Her stitches hurt, her bum hurts (The horrid H's) and her nipples hurt from first time breastfeeding. Only time will heal!

Jackie, like very much!!!

Hurts to even LOOK at a picture of Graham, that smirk. Wish he'd go back in the "closet" - seriously! Hypocrite, yuck!
Blue - loved the pics..even tho I'm allergic to cats, they sure are sweet.
RL - read that online - really wise, hope many read it.
-3 is cold, and windy, and sunny - but DAMN COLD. None of our snow has melted.

Saying a quick hi since we are going to be down for awhile. Haven't been watching as much of the worlds' goings on ( yeah, the s on going is not real proper ) the last few days. Sis-in-law is in the midst of leaving us from lung cancer. A few extra things to do and balancing things that need to be done right away. Have known since Christmas. No one quite said, but likely Oat cell just from the rapid movement and growth.
Did someone say Putin is not quite "right". He doesn't make much sense. Hope Kerry can find some way to keep things off the brink.

Just popped in to say hi.

Well. Oddly, the page counter only has one page. I wonder if anyone has posted since last night and if it is lost. Looks like the "upgrades" created more problems.
-
Jackie-I'm so sorry to hear about your sister-in-law. Even when you know it's coming, it's hard. Praying for a peaceful passing for her and comfort for your family.
Anyone hear from Chickadee?
ETA-It's all messed up on here. I tried to search for Chickadee, and posts mentioning Chickadee, and the most current are from 2011.

Hmmmm, pages seem to be back, but it logged my off and I had to come back on to find that out. Also, it is very slow at the moment which I hope improves. I left a post just before this that must have gone to outer space. Will see if this one stays.
Thanks Mary. SIL passed quietly about an hour ago. It is hard, but for the last few days she wasn't having a life, she was having an existence and I wish something much better for her.

I'm so sorry Jackie. May your SIL rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of your SIL, Jackie. Wishing your family peace and healing.

Jackie--Sending Love and sympathy to you and your family
-
Sorry Jackie. Lung cancer - a local acquaintance (non-smoker, 60 y.o.) was dx xmas, like your SIL, and passed just 3 weeks ago. It can take so fast.
-
Jackie - sending love to you & your family, so hard. Wishes for healing for all...
Thinking of chickadee, haven't seen anything posted in State IV.
-
Jackie, send thoughts of peace and strength to you and your family.
