100 Days of Gratitude

Yay Ruth! I'm a small town girl too so I understand what you're talking about. My sons didn't play college sports but both played middle and high school sports. Some of the schools we played made our team look like dwarfs, we were just glad to have enough kids sign up to play so we could have a team.
Today I'm grateful for the nice spring day to be able to enjoy with DH. The daffodils are blooming, life is good.

I am grateful that on those days when I do find it hard to be grateful for anything, that there are women here who understand - that's pretty special.
-
Missed Saturday so-
Grateful that 1) the weekend event for work went so very well and 2) it is over!!!
-
I am grateful that I was able to correct a mistake I made entering my genealogy research into Ancestry without having to erase and re-do a bunch of it.
-
A couple of days behind, Chrissy beautiful pic you radiate happiness and it shows. Ziggy congrats, 60 days is memorable.
Tonight I'm grateful for the internet, I've spent the evening with my friend in Australia, we both watched the Oscars at the same time and had a 'back and forth' conversation, just like we were in the same room, technology is truly amazing.
-
Grateful for the blue jays that have joined my chickadees at the feeder today ....
-
today I am grateful that I am finally home safe and sound after a very long drive.
-
Grateful to be recovered (mostly) from my busy weekend

Day #62
Today I am grateful for the baby fix I got yesterday (didn't even know I needed one) at my niece's baby shower. There were 4 non-walkers and a 7 year old. It was great!
Chrissy, glad you're finally home safe and sound.
HB, I know - isn't technology great?
-
-
I am grateful for a new desk chair that was very easy to assemble and is ever so much more comfortable than the old kitchen chair I've been using.
-
It's my birthday, and I am profoundly grateful to be around to celebrate it!!!!!!
-
Happy Birthday Ruth!!! May you have many, many returns!
Love n hugs. Chrissy
-
I am grateful for the one pill wonder cure for yeast infections (and apologies if TMI).
-
Yay Ruth! Happy birthday! I'm glad you're around to enjoy it too.
And Ziggy, I never understood why girls would put up with it for 3,5 or 7 days. Yay for 1 day pills!
-
Ruth, happy birthday! Hoping you had a special day!!
HB, isn't technology awesome? Making the world smaller!
Chrissy, great new avatar, glad you made it home safely.
Curve, so cool you get to be more comfortable. Every little (or big) thing helps.
Ziggy, it is what it is. As long as it works.
Have to go back to see where I left off.....
Day 61: so grateful DH was in a good mood (even ran to the grocery store for me) and I felt a little better, made for a great day.
Day 62: grateful that I finally fell asleep at 4 am, for feeling even a little better, that DH went to work (and wasn't let go!), and both he and DD were in a good mood despite being really tired and each having a tough day
Also, if any of you here in the states have younger ones: I was given info about free summer camp for kids whose parents are going through cancer treatments. From what I've seen, it's being held at various universities (not all 50 states). PM for more info, if interested.

Ruth - Happy Birthday
Grateful this AM that both my teens were home last evening and getting along. Peaceful house=happy mother
-
Grateful that my 16 year old daughters mole ( which had changed and grown....on her back ) was removed yesterday ......My GP wanted to "just monitor it"....... but I decided that that was not an option ..... and went to a private dermatologist instead and had it removed...it had grown to the size of a pencil eraser in 6 months ....Anyway maybe I am just paranoid ...but i prefer to play it safe. So operation mole removal is complete
Mom can relax .
Happy bday Ruth.
