Day #47
Today I am grateful for the snow in Halifax, Nova Scotia (sorry to the maritimers) because it means I don't have to fly into Halifax today. My uncle is in hospital and yesterday my poor mom was having anxiety attacks to which the only solution (in her mind) was for us to jump on a plane today visit him in the hospital, then back on a plane Tuesday morning to come home in time for my first rad treatment. Thankfully, not only did my aunt say 'no way, the weather here is awful and Deb may not make it back on time' but she arranged for my mom to talk to her brother. She feels much better now.
-
awwww Red you Mum was probably in panic mode.
I'm behind again, Friday - grateful for a lovely walk on the beach with a friends dog, her first time at 'dog beach' and wonderful to watch such doggy happiness. Yesterday grateful for an evening with friends and getting to meet and hold a new baby boy. Today am grateful for beautiful sunshine so that I may go out and weed my rose beds, I cut everything down but just couldn't be bothered with the weeding.
-
I am grateful for hot coffee on a cold day
-
Oh Pooh, that looks wonderful. I love cheesecake!
Today I'm grateful for a beautiful sunny day with no snow in sight and the big old hound dog named Buttercup that I'm about to take for a walk, or sometimes it's the other way around, she walks me.
-
Oh, HB, I can guarantee she was in panic mode. Her baby brother! And again I am jealous of those of you who are walking on a beach today - HB and Susie, yes you! lol
-
I am grateful I live in a mild climate. A "big snow" around here is measured in inches, not feet.
Wow, pooh, that cheesecake is amazing!

susie. Great story and response to the cowboy.
I'm grateful I'm doing as well as I am (knocking on wood).
And I'm very grateful my chemo lounge nurse talked to my oncologist and arranged for me to not see the nasty nurse practitioner anymore. Very grateful. Last time I saw the nurse practitioner I broke down in tears.
-
girlgirl ...glad you said something and don't have to deal with that nasty nurse anymore ....
Grateful today for my mothers wonderful neighbor who has been bringing her to her Dr. appointments.
I live so far away ...its comforting to know she has help when she needs it ....I sent her a bouquet from edible arrangements .

Have a great day.
