Today, I am grateful for life, for being able to do what I want to do, instead of what I have to do.
-
I am grateful for the cool change that has just rolled through.......it has dropped the temperature low enough so I can open up the house and enjoy the fresh air in comfort!
-
Day 34
Good morning ladies ......Love this thread ....Nice change .. it helps to think about the good stuff in our lives .Today I am grateful for my medical insurance ........Cost of Zoladex is outragious.
-
I am grateful for my nephew, whose birthday is today.
-
Grateful to have another semi-sunny, non-stormy day to be able to get out and about.
-
Day #34
Today I too am grateful for the weather. It is -13, but it is very sunny, not a cloud in the sky. Perfect day for skipping work and going tobogganing. Not that I will but the thought us there.
Interesting side note: first I wrote playing hookey, not skipping work, but spell check insisted that I wanted to play hockey!! Then I wondered if playing hookey meant the same thing world wide. Does it?
-
"Playing hookey" means the same thing (skipping school or work) where I come from. I'm grateful I was able to retire from my job last May, and now I'm permanently playing hookey (not hockey ).
-
I am grateful and proud of myself (is that allowed?) I found the clinic to get my drug test done to return to work! It was difficult to find! I am grateful that I have a renewed sense of taking care of business and tackling things I fear prior to BC.
-
Grateful for my healthy brown hair with very little gray and that my DH loves the color of it. Get to leave the blonde highlights behind.
-
curve, I get to play hokey everyday too..retired almost 2 years ago. It's great to not live on a schedule anymore.
Today I'm grateful for a visit from my niece and her husband today. They brought the movie "Bad Grandpa" over to watch. We laughed and laughed.
-
Just overall grateful for the day, snowy, cold New England
-
Red, it means the same thing here as well although I never did get to play hookey much as I was always the boss......hahahahaha!
Grateful that the cool change has me wearing a light cardigan today as the breeze is chiiiiiiiilly! Two days ago I was roasting and self basting.......who woulda thunk it?!
-
DAY #35 ....
Grateful that i am such an early bird ...i get soo much done in the morning .....!!
Wish i could play hookey too ......
-
Good morning
I am grateful that my DH gets up with me in the morning and by the time I'm dressed and downstairs, he has my coffee waiting.
-
Grateful for the beautiful day here in Mass. Snow fell yesterday, still on the trees, blue sky and the sun is out. Going to enjoy the day - cuz more snow tonight!
-
I am grateful for what I am hoping is my last sick day before I return to work! I can't believe I have been out of work for 5 months. I am so grateful to my employer...they have been very good to me.
-
Grateful that I was able to get to the arena last night to help out with the Can-Skate program. So fun to interact with and help out the wee ones on the ice.
chrissy - are you sure you don't live in Canada? lol - we can go from sweater/pants to shorts and t-shirt all in one day. Sometimes we have a sweater/shorts kinda day.
-
Barsco it gets so hot here that a cool change that drops the temp to 80 is cold! Our bodies get so accustomed to the heat that the changes make us shiver.........lol. I must admit we have had more extremes of weather over the last twelve months and it really does make you wonder. Back to the high 90's tomorrow and well over a hundred for the next few days......no cool change until Sunday.....maybe.
I am grateful that I have slept better for the last two nights due to the cool change.
-
I am grateful that I got an answer to my question about SSDI. Also that I was able to work in my garden for the first time in a long time, even though it was only for about ten minutes.
-
missed a few days, so I'm grateful that on the weekend I got to celebrate a friends birthday with a lovely 'ladies lunch' then dinner with a girl in town to run in the HB marathon, then yesterday I had a surprise visit from my friend who lives in Northern California but came down to visit her daughter in LA and they came to OC to purchase a car and today I am grateful for a beautiful sunset
-
Day 36

Today I took the day off due to a really bad headache.....so I am grateful for being able to take a day off
and stay home .
-
Grateful to be back form Boston, crummy driving but doable. Grateful to be home and comfy
