-
Grateful for a really awesome "moonset" this morning.....Full moon, that looked really yellow as it sunk towards the horizon....so beautiful!!!!!!

Day 15: appears we had a 4.4 earthquake last night (just a baby), epicenter about 15 miles from here during the night. I slept thru this one.
Coming up in a couple of days is the anniversary of the 1994 Northridge earthquake which did a whole lot of damage in the LA area (not near us, thankfully). I was ready to give birth (happened less than a week later), we were probably 60 miles from center but the whole house was creaking, rocking and rolling. Happened while I was asleep. So startled, I was across the room before my feet hit the floor even with my enormous belly!
-
2ta - I can't believe it's been 20 years. We've been having a bunch of small earthquakes, they speculate it is from the fracking.
-
Farmer, I know, time flies! Can't believe DD will be 20 next week! No more teenagers for me.
(PS, my DS lives in OK too, since 2004, thinking he brought the earthquakes with him!)

Today I am grateful that my only doctor's appt is just a check in with my OB/Gyn and when it's done, I get to go home 2 hours early. Hooray for early home time!!!
Everyone is getting such good news. It makes me smile to read it. Congrats to those with great check ups, btw what is an NED?

I am grateful reading all the good news some of us have had lately! Also grateful I was able to be at my daughters today when the home health nurse was there, and I could learn the care of her feeding tube. Wow Maddy, 20 yrs since that horrid quake....glad you were ok!
-
I am grateful that my friends mammo came back okay today after finding a lump....:)
-
I am sooo grateful that the oncology gynaecologist i saw today said he would recommend to my gynaecologist to have my ovaries removed! It's been such a battle and since I have no knowledge of inherited medical history, I'm terrified of ovarian cancer being tnbc.

Wow was gone a short time and missed so much great stuff - stained hoodies, inside out sweatpants, oatmeal, dumplings, 107 degrees, minus 5 degrees, YAY last chemo for lovewins, YAY NED for Nell, Yay for so many women finding some good things in every day. I missed a bit so I'm going to pile them up:
Day 15 - Grateful my laptop is functioning again so I can be here.
Day 14:- Grateful I can now count my nonsmoking days in weekS
Day 13 - Grateful for being home and having my brother and sister in law here to take care of me
Day 12 - Grateful that I didn't live back in the days when women had to wear girdles all the time
Day 11 - Grateful for pain meds
Day 10 - Grateful to lose the TE today!

I'm so grateful I can sit out in my yard for hours at a time taking pictures of the local birds with my dream camera (thank you, DH).

Day #16
Today I am grateful that I found my happy again. I've been down for a few days now and it's been a struggle to find my gratitude. Hooray for smiles.
Ziggy good for you about the smoking. It's in my list of things to do.
Clickchick how lovely to spend a day taking photos. Your DH sounds like a keeper. Lol
Chrissy happy your feet don't hurt today.
-
I am grateful that the days are getting longer....it has been light later in the day for awhile now, but today, I realized that morning now comes a wee....tiny.....infinitely small bit earlier.
clickchick....what kind of camera do you have?
-
Grateful for all the good news for everyone.
Just grateful to feel well and living a "typical" life
-
I'm glad the days are getting longer also.
Grateful for our morning walk with DH and the pups. Sometimes I'm stewing over something in my mind the entire time and then I look up and see the beautiful blue sky and the trees and feel like it was placed there just for me.
-
farmer Lucy, it's nice to notice and be thankful for all the little things around us
Ziggy, you rock, no smoking!
Curve, happy for you you're feeling better, even if just a little bit
Nihahi, your days get longer after summer? Our days get shorter moving from summer to winter.
