Regarding my "heart attack," the nurse wrote back with this information:

"Looking at the other EKGs, there were no differences in the tracings themselves; just how it was interpreted." So I guess some EKG machines call it a heart attack and others say "Oh, it's just E again."

Is there ANY part of medicine that's science??

E- so glad you didn't have a heart attack - everything is in the eyes of the beholder apparently.

Well, I just proved you can have a shower and only wet half of your body. Got to keep the dressing dry for 2 days - what a pain.

My hair on the other hand is gorgeous - much better than my regular hairdresser's effort - seems you are supposed to apply the Cacau (the Brazillian Keratin stuff) to almost dry hair and my regular hd had them apply it to wet hair which would dilute the effect. I didn't even have to brush it this morning. It looks very very straight, but in a few weeks that should pass and get some natural wave back.

Still in a very bad mood as expected.

I want to thank you all for your kind wishes - where would I be without you. I've told Steve I don't want to tell anyone just yet, but you girls were the first I reached out to (or swore at - thanks for putting up with it). I love you all.

AS well....E -- hope all remains well and that you get into a really good situation. The Oncologist you talked about ( my brain not hanging on so well today ) sounds fantastic. Course it always sounds better to me when treatments can be pin-pointed for the most part to things that should make a great difference.

Another long day..............have to read up yet ( gone to Marion V. A. for hubby ) on the Regressive antics and the Tehadists too.

Things could change easily, but it does sound like they all have a way to go before they hope for any traction on their slippery slope.

No, E - you don't PAINT the cure ... You DANCE it! That is probably what went wrong with your EKG - you did the "cure" interpretive dance rather than the EKG interpretive dance. That, or the EKG technician stuck the pin in the wrong place in your EKG doll!

Suz, I hope all is well. I had a new primary in the opposite breast that the Aromasin kept dormant, then it grew when I came off the Aromasin. At least, that's our theory. It was scary and frustrating, but small and not aggressive. But talk about anxiety! Hang in there.

Had my yearly with my onc and am set free for another year. I don't know why I still go--my primary can do labs, and at any sign of a new ache or lump, I'd call the onc in a flash. But I love him and his MA dearly, after 10 years together, and he deserves someone "easy" like me in his schedule once in a while, so I'll keep going till he's ready to unleash me.

Thinking good thoughts for all who are struggling right now, with anything.

Thanks Juliaanna - still trying to feel good about it, but after so much stress it takes a while.

I just wish we could fix E and Chickadee - breaks my heart. My issue was nothing compared to what they are going through.

Just talking to my Aunt in Sydney and her cat has feline herpes!!! I had never heard of it - apparently caught by being attacked by a stray cat. Ruby is not well - hopefully she'll improve.

I'm gradually coming out of it and feeling happier - tomorrow is another day Very tired, going to hit the sack very early.

I had nice long talk with RO. I'm in a better place than I was. The good news is the location of the lesions are the reason I'm stumbling around like a drunken sailor, the better news is that means they aren't where I would lose my thinking and personality. I really didn't want to be fried into a zombie just to live. She said I would probably have to come back for a redo in a couple months for the largest one on my cerebellum to be sure they got it and there would be follow up scans. I guess they are scarier and harder to eradicate completely but one can hope.

So I'll take my silver lining in the cloud for now and hope to experience only minor confusion and fatigue. Heck that's normal now anyway.

Pics are great Blue.....I love butterflies. I always think when I see them, they are angels come to check on us. Glad you are B9 Suzie. Hope it totally catches up with you soon. Chickadee.....even your news does have a small lilt to it, just wish it were much, much more.

Listening to latest news of ACA. Tehadists riding a wave to no-where. Things can change fast so would never hold my breath about too much of any of it. I do have hope that the TPer's as well as some in the Repugs end of it all will not find anything much left to sustain them. A lot of damage done this time.

Off to work where I generally have fun. Have the two adorable Yorkies all the while I'm there.
