I laid out all my cloths & made sure I have myself covered from head to toe with all accessories!! Just wait till you all see what I've got planned for Saturday nite....it might even be better than the big pink ribbon I wore & white kitty back pack  Will still have my Bling TA TA Shirt too!!

Things have been up & down with me since home from the hospital & heading back into Dr.'s office tomorrow-moved it up from Friday due to my symptoms, they just called now with some extra helpful hints.....I've got all my Prayer Warriors on board Praying so I don't have to go back in & face Surgery-being very HOPE-FUL & Positive.......We've got soooo many of us dealing with stuff....just send me a  Prayer too Please   Thanx

My brain hasn't gotten into list making mode yet. I know it will...it always does...but I wish it would start already!

Marlegal, yeah...aren't they PURTY!!!!!  SheChriple-I've got the line dance learned that Mary H. challenged us to learn for Thursday nite...got some ankle white FLAT boots...so I'll be ready.  

Got some good news from Dr. today & still no hosptial or more tests-the 2 surgeons are being kept up dated & I'm back on the soft food diet from the last surgery.No need for extra stress & CT's have never been 100% correct with me, so giving that a rest too!! Gonna take it slow & be healthy...DR. added a few new meds,fever broke & swelling of belly should go down abit after the new meds kick in but it's all good & I'll be ready to party!!

Last year I wore a big Pink ribbon (over my cloths LOL LOL) & had my white kitty back pack on...had to carry my breathing machine & that was the PURR-fect place for it  My profile picture shows me in it    I was having major medical issues last year & my asthma was at it's worst-the last surgery with a few different procedures in May fixed alot of that

I'm coming early to Vegas to hang with a Dear sweet friend of mine who I grew up with in my home town & we both took from the same Dance teacher & kept in touch all these years!!  Then hook up with all of you on Thursday

Countdown.....DRUMROLL......16 days  WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

SheChirple - I guess I am going to have to find some sort of slutty top to wear   Or at least a button down so I can have a very very low cleavage.   Crap that means i will have to find some push up bras.  I think I gave those up years ago - not sure I even have any.  Got to the point where trying to fake perky boobs wasn't very practical as the underwires hurt.

Well ladies here is the schedule.  There may be some revisions made to the schedule if so we will let you know

9:00pm – Pre-gathering – Gilley’s at Treasure Island

• ·         Friday, September 27^th

10:00am – Cabana available at Aria pool area.  Mary H. will be hosting this.  If you are interested, you can pay her for participating when you arrive.  She will not have the specific cabana information until the morning of, so just look for a cabana that is “marked” in some way to signify BCO.   If Mary cannot get a Cabana we can hang out by the pool.

7:00pm - Meet and Greet – The Pub at Monte Carlo - Whatever we order will have to be paid on one check that will include 20% gratuity. So, PLEASE bring CASH!!! The Pub is located in the Monte Carlo which is attached to the Aria Hotel. To get there you walk toward the "Roasted Bean" in Aria, go up the escalator, turn right toward the tram and enter Monte Carlo. Go down escalator toward Starbucks and next to "The Crepe" is The Pub. (FYI - Happy Hour is 3-6.)

9:30pm - Dancing – Mizuya Lounge in Mandalay Bay - $5 per person fee (to be collected at the Meet and Greet) and two drink p/person minimum at lounge.  Mizuya Lounge is located in Mandalay Bay (you can walk through Monte Carlo, into NYNY to the bridge to Excalibur and then take the tram at Excalibur to Mandalay Bay) and is on the casino level towards back end (look for signage).  Opening band will be playing when we arrive, main band (called Phoenix) will start at 10:30.

• Saturday, September 28th

10:00am - Group Breakfast - Kahunaville at Treasure Island; everyone orders individually off menu; approximate cost is $15 p/person (more or less depending on what is ordered)

8:00pm - Piano Bar - New York New York; $10 p/person cover charge

• Sunday, September 29th

1:30pm - Brunch at Wicked Spoon - gather outside buffet and be ready to enter at 1:30; cost has been pre-paid to Tracey ($42.60 w/o alcohol; $55.51 w/alcohol - either unlimited Champagne, Bloody Mary or Mimosa).  Please contact her if you haven’t sent in payment yet.

5:00pm (or whenever the group decides to go) - Freemont Street; we usually grab a limo or bus at a designated area a couple hours after brunch for the whole group to go downtown together; approximate cost $15 p/person; on own for return using cabs - cost is around $20 (shared by 4 or 5 people = $5) - so around $20 p/person

10:00pm (or whenever) - Farewell gathering - Rhumbar at Mirage - no reservation, just take over space.

For those of us that will be there Monday for breakfast we will find a place to have breakfast on Monday.  Once again thank you to all the sisters that helped organize this schedule, it takes many of us and a lot of patience to put this event together.

I cannot wait to see you in Vegas in ......How many days Susie?????

Hello everyone!

I just had my 6 month check up and everything is a-ok and I feel like celebrating, so I'm thinking of coming.  I have been laid off for a while and figured I'd have a job by now and wouldn't be able to go, but since I don't I might as well meet some fantastic people!  I only know two people that are going from the chat, so am slightly nervous, but I LOVE Vegas, so...  I would just get my own hotel room no problem.  I am 47 and I had a lumpectomy and rads last year and am now on Tamoxifen.  I live in New Jersey, near NYC.

Googling all those places we're going to is unbelievable! I've been to Vegas twice but never to any of those places! Bring it on...I'm ready

Neeners - get with Gbusse about the hotel as there might be room available in one of the other rooms.  I don't know if someone is looking for a roomate or not - but she will know.

I will be saying until Wedneday and there are many sista's that will be around on monday.

All of the sudden I remembered we had frequent flyer miles!  So I'm going to fly in early on Thursday and fly out on Tuesday (!).  Those were the free flights available, so I'm going for it.  I'm nervous!  I'm excited!  I'm eeeeeee!  I have a room at the Aria.  I'm interested in everything.  I also like to gamble, go to shows, spa, and of course cocktails.  I hope I can find a gambling buddy or five.  I need someone to make sure I don't blow it all the first day .  Do I need to send anyone $ for anything?  The brunch?  Thanks again for making me feel so welcomed already.  I'm looking forward to meeting you all!

Neeners815, there will abe alot of us hanging around on Monday, my group is not leaving till Minday nite.  Yes, you need to send $$ to Tracy for the brunch at Wicked Spoon for Sunday.  It's $42.60 w/out alcohol & $55.51 w/alcohol. I'll PM you her address !!  Everything else is paid as we go & listed on the above post by Gbusse of our schedule. So glad your gonna make it!!!!
