BayouBabe,
Any outdoor flowers?
-
Oh Teka that is so pretty, the shade is perfect blue=And all his time I didn't know u could take pics. and post them--WTF--I like it.
-
Sadly no, daughter does my photo posts.
-
Lovely Teka. My mother used to have a trellis of morning glories on the front of our house growing up. You would see them out the window in the morning when you stood at the kitchen sink. So pretty.
-
I only have day lilies and daffodils outside my kitchen window. I have a black thumb, and day lilies and daffodils will survive anything! Would love to have more. My grandfather's yard when I was little was literally filled with flowers. People would come from all over to take pictures of them. I miss him and the beauty he created. Good memories!
-
Oh Bayou---our yard just has wild flowers areoun the deck--I guess u can buy seeds like that and the olors are pretty, but who knows what they are--but they must be a stron bunch too. Cuz our thumbs aren't good either.
-
I'm lame and now only weed (f) gardens in the spring then remove the dead foliage in the fall. Many gardeners now only have wild & tame flowers that can survive in sod.
9 wild flowers that I let self sow -----
columbine (flower garden)
jack-in-the-pulpit (flower garden)
lupine (flower garden)
bluet (mowed grass)
indian paintbrush (mowed grass)
queen anne's lace (unmowed grass)
mullein (unmowed grass)
milkweed (unmowed grass)
aster (unmowed grass)
-
Wow Teka u know u'r gardening.

-
Guilty, as charged, Camille! (Still not in my room, so I'm just barely sane at this point.) aggggh
-
Skittle Joey's in 4th grad now and I was going over his homework Honest to God I had no idea what he was talking about--MATH but he was trying to explain it to me and I was like forget it. U work hard Skittle I know.

Tela
When I was a kid I'd pick Queen Anne lace, put in water that had food coloring added. The flowers would take the water and turn that color. It was fun, at 10 yo. Wish I'd dried them. -
Husband & I haven't set foot in kids former schools or college since Graduated.
-
Spookiesmom, I never did that with queen anne's lace but with apple blossoms. Blue!
-
Never tried that! Don't have apple trees here, or any fruit trees. Draws rats.
-
In second grade science, they use celery! You should see the big eyes when celery turns purple! :-)
Joey in fourth!!? Wow. He's getting up there. (Somehow pictured him younger.) Happy times.
-
Rotting fruit would attract rats.
-
Skittle that's why I can't answer all these questions or make myself look smart anymore---these kids are so beyond what I was at 9 I swear someof this stuff I did in HS,
-
Thanks for asking
Well reduction seems to be fine but a couple of sore places but side with fat transfer still uncomfortable, limited movement but have regained some sensation lost in rads....dont know how much fat i will keep yet but it feels a positive step although aches and pains sometimes make me wonder if i stirred up hidden mets, silly of me but it lurks...as they are all odd pains.....its all unknown territory and knocking at the door of my ptsd, i am a real hermit again and having to make myself leave the house! -
Lilly don't start to conjure up bad feelings inside u'r body---Most of us hav had inexplainabe aches and pains for differnt lengths of time-=Our bodies seem to rebel against all this stuff--Please don't overdue and relax as much as u can--and if anyrhing realy goes haywire Call u'r onc. and tell them.
-
I don't have many days that.
-
lurking....really hermitting...kids had a 60th surprise party for me, drama but it was awesome, so excited that they would do that for me...
still connected to oyx they don't know why I can't breathe still, so depressing not being able to walk around without a tank, too young for that one...not going out much, and excited when I know I don't have to go out, but have dq in the freezer that excites me also....
will come and read when I can....take care
