Thinking Out Loud.....

Joan - I wish I had known just how often I was going to have to practice keeping quiet in my later years! I'm getting very good at it but I sure do feel repressed at times
Sheila - you ok?
-
Diane, I really need help on this one...DD is becoming very high strung and is not treating DH well at all....and he and the kids really need this move to be a positive experience. I get so uncomfortable when she barks at him and tells others he needs to get his act together and get a job....He doesn't want to move....it's all new to him....if only they could meet in the middle on things. Moving is stressful enough.
I am not even sure I should be giving up a trip and planning my fall around them...who knows what will happen. Her in-laws are about 40 minutes away in MA and she want nothing to do with them and says that in front of DH. I'll bet she will recruit them when desperate. -
Awwwww Joan.you sure have a mess goin on.sorry
Yeah moving is very stressful
Lots of people involved while the stress level rises.
Be good to yourself..things do have a way of workin out.still thinkin about how close we came to finally meeting. It will still happen.you bet it will.
It's still fugly humid here in nj.
Hello to all my wonderful sistas.
Stay cool.

Joan....Got your pm.....will answer today........however...I have a daughter who leads her husband around by the balls.......daughter #2.....I have to drive to the shore with her on Friday, (or drive myself)....cause daughter #3,(who I always go with ) said......"you can go with daughter #2.............I am sure granddaughter said the back seat is too crowded with 3 people......
This is how the ride for 100 miles and 2 hours will go.....take the expressway", "don't take the back roads"...."slowdown", "watch that guy", "get in the left lane", "put both hands on the steering wheel", "how fast are you going", "go into that toll booth", "get away from that truck".........till I want to tell her STFU, and slap the shit out of her........
She thinks he has the perfect marriage, well I guess so when she rules the roost, wears the pants, and gets her way all the time.......my SIL is a Saint.......She is a Director or a major Pharma Co., and forgets to take her Director's hat off when she comes home....huge "know it all", and drives me nuts.............was never like that.....now no one does anything right but her......we clash cause I don't give in........I am the parent, not the child..........as long as I walk this earth......
So I understand what your saying.............and imagine 100 miles, and 2 hours.....if there is no traffic.........pray for me....lol. -
Ducky..you poor thing but I too know what you are talkin about.
Sometimes I find its just easier to stay home
My son has a camaro that I can hardly get in but if and when I do I say the rosary all the way.he too has no balls except behind the wheel. That bitch who thinks she shits roses does nuthin but demand..
What happened to our kids?
Not to even mention our grand kids.grrrrrr -
Tired of trying.............gonna start pleasing me.......screw them all and the horses they rode in on............guess you need a trauma for people to care........very sad.......a day did not go by that I did not call my Mother........times they have changed.......
-
Tough position to be in Joan. Good luck!
VERY MUGGY HERE so sick of it!! -
checking whoa Joan tough....ducky....power and control go to their heads and they can't stop it when they are home....she better be respectful to you, you could sell the house down the shore, they better watch out...
Went to the lung specialist and he is confused as to why I can't breathe, so now on friday I have to do a swallow test with barium and an echocardiogram he wants to rule out a heart issue....chemo can cause problems with the heart, WTF, really.....got a new oxygen tank, hopefully I won't break this one, lol
Have a nice night!!!

What is it with younger women these days. My new DIL wears the pants. She tells me what she will "let" DS have or do. I would have never disrespected my mother-in-law the way she does. My MIL wasn't very nice, but still, she was my MIL!
Got excited when a call came through from my Dr today. I thought the last blood-letting came up with an answer. Unfortunately it was only letting me know that the MRI of my brain was approved by insurance and I should call the imaging place and make an appointment in the next 30 days. Not a half hour later, the imaging place called me! Wanted me in tomorrow at 11:30, but I have a chiro appt at 11 and don't want to miss that. So I go in on Thursday morning instead.
-
Good luck Meece.
