Thinking Out Loud.....

Glad yesterday was better, Sheila.
Feeling a little better lately, Diane. The only results that have shown anything were very low D and B levels. She immediately upped my D last week, and I really have had less symptoms since. I will start B injections tomorrow. I am picking up all my test results and taking them to my onc on Monday. I don't want to repeaqt any of them.

Talked to my oncologist this morning. She said that the lesions on my liver are cancer. I had a short lived chemo vacation.

Looks like you had fun on vaca, Linda.
(((((TOL)))))
Have today off- which is good - though I might have been ok if I had to work - yesterday wasn't a bad day - day before I was a spaz - flustered all day- wish I knew why sometimes I am more of an anxiety-ridden mess than others...
Paid fall tuition (including housing and meals) OUCH! And there are more dorm expenses to come... Seem to be spending money hand over fist - hope it slows down soon! Kids are EXPENSIVE! And DD just had minor foot surgery and we're now in the donut hole for our insurance. Yay. And it seems every ins stmt we get is f'd up in some way. Last 2 bills for DS from 2 different practices were both billed with "D"H as the patient. What is wrong with these people?!!! Our ins plan gives us 1/2 the amount of our deductible to spend before we pay at 100% - for some reason, they stopped paying out of that account before all the money was exhausted - so now I've got Dr offices wanting us to pay since the ins co said we owed it. I called and ins co made the correction and paid most recent bills out of money that should have been used in the first place and one Dr office cashed the check, but didn't apply it to our acct, so they were still wanting me to pay. Ugh. Now I have more bills that ins co said we owed on, but there is still a couple hundred in the account. Now I have to fight off those people until I can get ins company to pay them out of the money that is left and tell them what I really owe- BUT Dr's office has to fix the bill so that it reflects the correct patient first. OMG why is the whole world incompetent?
Yeah - so things are still the same for me...aren't you glad I've been keeping quiet lately?
((((TOL))))
-
thanks for the hugs

(((((Veggy))))) I am thinking of you and sending positive thoughts and prayers your way. I am so sorry you had to hear this news.

Hope all those going to the shore have a great time! I'm going to my basement to do DD's laundry...
Hope you have an easier time breathing, Sandy and they figure out what's going on!
Joan - are you recovering well from your week away? I hope you had fun.
DD is house/cat sitting for BIL and I'm not happy about it. She's going away (well, sort of away - only about a 45 min drive) to school in 2+ weeks and her stuff is NOT ready to go. Not to mention maybe I would like to spend some time with her before she goes...

All to the shore, who's going to the shore......
Does a lake shore count? DH and I are going to Arrowhead Lake to celebrate our anniversary one 10 days early. We need a break from family and work. I love 'em but I really need the break.
So we went to see the new baby Wednesday. SD says she doesn't sleep and won't take a pacifier. So..I ask her if she's tried the one the hospital gave her (The really ugly pink or turquoise ones). She stated that the hospital doesn't give those out anymore, because they are a certified breastfeed only hospital. No formula, no pacifiers. I believe her story (why, I don't know). Yesterday a woman at work brings a pic of her new grand-baby born on Monday, and the baby has the big pink paci in her mouth. I asked where she was born because XXX hospital is a certified BF only hospital and doesn't give them out. Guess where...Yep! Boy did I look stupid talking about that. When will I ever learn that SD is a habitual liar and just tells stories to make herself look like an authority or something. (She is narcissistic to an extreme.) We planned our vist during our lunch hour, and when we arrive SIL was fixing lunch, then put it on the table...for them, not us, and they ate it in front of us.
Sorry for the rant, but I have to hold my tongue about it everywhere else.

Ouch Meece!!!! Hang in there!

-
Amen!
