I'm back and once again it looks like this place has been hoppin'!
I really enjoyed our visit with Patch and Lala. They are adorable. It was difficult to leave them yesterday morning. Patch is just a few weeks past his second birthday but he is a little talker. Even if he doesn't know the words he wants to use, he makes something up. He uses a cadence in his voice that make you believe he knows what he is saying. He isn't real clear with his enunciation, but you can figure it out. We got him a "Pew-er" aka computer (Kid style) and he played with it for hours. Took him to see Despicable Me 2 (his first theater movie) and he sat there mezmerized for the entire show. Had lots of cuddling time with Lala and heard her very first giggle in response to my jiggling her tummy. A priceless memory.
Now back to the real world. My back has some issues and I went to the chiropractor twice today. Hope it gets better soon. Need to contact my dr. because I am getting pains in my feet and on the drive home my feet and ankles were quite swollen. I can't rememeber if I alreaqdy made my annual Onc appt. so that's on the To-Do list.

(((Sandy)))
(((Deb)))
(((TOL)))
Nothing new with me....got some chocolate and GF for the weekend
Weight is steady
I'm very bored staying home day after day......
I want a normal summer
Granny...how are you doing?
♥
-
I turned the Ac off today too, will be putting it back on soon.
Mmmmmmmm chocolate!
-
We have been having a heat wave so turning the AC off is not an option.
Went to the doctor today. She is going to be testing me for Lupus, Rheumatoid-something, vitamin or potassium deficiency and some other stuff. I gave four vials of blood. Hope that was enough. She said she will test for these things first, then look into Diabetes, some neurological thing, or MS. Fun Stuff!!!
I had my hands so full of babies that I did not take many pics. I have many of HD with the kids, but he has few of me. It's okay, I have the memories. Patch took his mommy's phone to her today and asked to call "Grandmar". So, I got an adorable call form my little man. She said he wouldn't brush his teeth the night we left because Grandmar and PawPaw weren't there. What a thought process little ones have.
-
Meece...that's so cute not brushing his teeth
Do you take diuretics ? friend of mine was on a higher dose and she has to take potassium pills now
Last time I asked my DR if i could stop taking it since i do take BP pill he said we can try and I'm checking my BP regularly it's still normal
This is the second prescription i was taking for no reason
So far so good
-
No I don't take diuretics. I took my meds in so she could check for adverse reactions, but she doubted any issue since I have been taking all of them since November.
-
I hope there is a simple explanation for whatever the Dr is testing you for, Meece. Glad you had a good time with the little ones. So cute.
Been working...tired... 1-6 tomorrow. then I will need to put my feet up - my ankle is swollen -the one I had surgery on in Dec 2011. Wishing I hadn't let the surgeon "fix" it. but was afraid not to - thought the tendons would wear through or something eventually. wonder if the ankle will ever stop swelling and hurting now. sigh.
I'm hungry - a snack at 6:00 wasn't enough... I ate some M&M's and a piece of meatloaf when I got home, but I'm still hungry... I feel like Chris Farley in this SNL clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YfvBbxE1vU
((((TOL)))))
-
Lol that clip!! LOL!!!
I hope they figure it out too Meece.
Getting very humid and the heat will be back soon. AC is going on!
-
Meece sorry for that....but glad you got to spend that time with the GC....
HUGS TO ALL!!!!!!
-
Thanks.
It was a wonderful visit.
-
Good morning from NY......
Time for AC life again
Other than that nothing new
Having mammo on Thursday
OMG what an exciting post
(((TOL)))
-
It's going to be 90 here. I've been sitting in front of the fan since I got up this morning. Allergies are really bad.
Hugs -
It was 103° yesterday, but it is supposed to cool to about 100° today. Thank goodness. Now I'll admit to something weird. I run a space heater at work because they keep the temps in the 60s. I am not the only one I'd say half of us have the little heaters. In fact the heater was at my desk when I started.
-
It is hot here.....procedure to get the fluid out of my right lung tomorrow (plural effusion) hope everyone is doing well!!!
-
Sending hugs to those who need them.
-
Pleural effusion - yikes! I hope you feel much better afterward! ((((Sandy))))
I would need a space heater too! Dehumidified 60s - brrr.
