Thinking Out Loud.....

I am home and happy to be in my own bed, sad that there are not little girls to cuddle up and watch cartoons with in the morning. I hope I;m not going to be depressed every time I leave them. The older is just talking and developing at warp speed. She's not happy that there is a new being in her home and is acting out a bit - i'm glad I was there to provide her some distraction. I sneezed a lot there at their house so she started calling me Mimi Achoo - I have a feeling that will stick. I took some videos of both girls and the older one just loved to sit and look at herself - she would hit replay over and over - kids can scroll and select at 19 months old! Cooked about 20 meals so hoping that helps them out too.
Today I am thinking of you, Sheila and wishing you a very happy day full of love and joy.
Oh Linda - you know it's kind of fun really and those extra kids will never forget it or you. Good luck though.
Chris - I haven't gone back to re-read but as I recall you were finding work a bit easier? If that is the case, I am so happy to hear it.
Sandy - I think I'm going to stop at Macys today which now always makes me think of you. Hope you are doing well this week.
Meece - It was 94 when I left the Bay Area and that is hot - I really notice the strength of the sun feels different. Stay cool today and I know you are looking forward to your Patch and Layla time!
Hey there Chabba - ready for the heat?
Joan - Believe me, I know what you are going through and what you will go through. i just keep hoping that they will return to our area i a few years. But boy does it get me down - I woke up empty today with no hugs or baby smells.
Deb - I wish I knew the magic phrase but I don't - I am thinking of you often and know your smile will return someday. In the meantime, feel whatever you need to feel.

Sheila...the sun is comin out now just for the wedding.
Have a wonderful blessed day to you and the family.
Deb..thinkin of you...time is the great healer.
Linda...good luck.
Hi Joan!!!! -
Hi Granny K, you are right...it is turning out to be a perfect day with some puffy clouds and plenty of blue sky.
(((Sheila)))Mimi Achoo, it sounds like your visit was wonderful...so glad you got to spend so much time with your grandaughters. And yes, they are sooooooo smart! Maybe you can start a memory book for them about your time together. I am getting pics together for some books for my Gds but did not expect to have it ready so soon.
I can't believe those temps in CA and even the Bay area. Whew!
Sandy, did you get out? You said you may have a car....hope you are enjoying your time this week end.Watching tennis, but really need to get in the garden while it's cooler here.

The experience of grief is powerful. So, too, is your ability to help yourself heal. In doing the work of grieving, you are moving toward a renewed sense of meaning and purpose in your life."
Lord knows, I'm trying. -

Hate to talk medical crap about me....but I failed....will go back to the Dr on July 10th to talk to him........
Don't want to bore anyone....but thanks for asking....I had a Methacholine Challange Test -
Ducky - do you have asthma? That is a test my daughter had and she sure had a hard time with it. Hope it was easier for you.
Sheila - it's a time of joy and celebration - don't worry about what you ate for a few days
-
Rain...yes I do....they use 5 vials of the meth, and on the 3rd, I was up to 22%, which was a reason to stop the test since once you hit 20% they go no further, so vial 4 and 5 were not used. The person testing said....."ok I have found what we need to know and what
we were looking for, I will send this report to your Dr.......asked her if I could have done anything wrong, to cause the %'s to go up she smiled and said "no"., we allow for all things like stopping pushing breath even though you can blow more, or taking you mouth off the mouthpiece, coughing, all types of occurrences. At that point I stopped asking....lol
.
I go to him on July 10th...... -
sorry Ducky!!!
-
Blonde....no biggy, just another bump in the road......
-
It was just horrible for Rebekah and I to slowly watch him die.
Yes, he was my pain in the ass too. but I miss him so much.
-
Deb - I can't even imagine the mix of feelings you must have. You've fought and won one big battle, I'm sure you will succeed in this one as well - you deserve all the time and space that it takes. xoxo
-
-
I love you Deb....♥
-
Beautiful picture Deb. I hope you are safe and staying well. HUGS!

(((TOL)))
Deb, what a beautiful photo. I'm glad you shared it.Ducky, sorry the test wasn't so great...but how do you actually feel?
Sheila, I only was able to open the first two of the photos and they are beautiful! I will look for more on FB.
DD#3 (soontobe Boston gal) texted me and she is here for the 4th, two towns away. I have to work tomorrow, darn...but will catch up with them in the afternoon. I can't wait to squeeze Caroline's scrumptious legs
I get her to myself on Friday and overnight. Hope she still likes me. She better-- I ordered from Amazon today a splash pool, flower sprinkler, bubble machine, and swimming Dora.
Sandy, thinking of you...hope you enjoyed your time off...and I hope you have the best possible week ahead.
-
We are heading out around 5 am tomorrow to see Patch & Lala. We should be there around 4-5 in the afternoon. I can't wait. Lala is smiling in reaction to my goofy chit-chat on Skype so I can't wait to see her in person once more. Patch was talking on the phone with me this afternoon and he sounded as if he were carrying on a full conversation. The only problem was half the words were unrecognizable. It is funny how he has a cadence to his jabbering that sounds like sentences. When I told him I would have to read lots of books to him he said YEAH!!! Then he started singing "Yeah, yeah, yeah!!" I thought he was trying out to be a Beatle!
I'm too excited to sleep!
-
Meece....so happy for you
Some of us are traveling to see our grandchildren or children
Hugs ♥
-
It was 114° here today. I can't believe I am happy to head to AZ where it will be 20° cooler!
-
(((((((Deb))))))) ((((((Ducky))))))
I'm happy for the grandmothers who will be seeing the little ones too.
They are so cute the way they mimick how we talk. DD used to say "O ee o ee o" on the phone - eventually my parents realized she was saying, "Hi, how are you?"
DS liked the Beatles too - he used to sing, "Beep beep 'm beep beep, yeah" when he was 2.
I'm glad you had your 3 weeks with DD, Sheila - sorry you will be missing her soon. So hard. I'm not looking forward to it...
Glad you got your car fixed, Sandy and were productive the way you wanted to be (even if a bit too much)
Work isn't really getting easier - not as much as I need it to be. Working 10-3 on the 4th- hope it isn't busy in a bad way.
