4 weeks tomorrow and shianne, Scottiee and me are on the road ..... Woo woo !!! ๐๐น
-
Wooohoooo!! Man, is that coming up quickly.
-
I've stayed at the Homewood Suites in Coralville. Excellent place - you will enjoy it. The mall is close by, and plenty of restaurants.
-
Thanks mamapeg ... We are so looking forward to it .. Meeting everyone and enjoying some good fun and stories and of course shopping ....
-
Would anyone be offended if I used a sports bra and dark boy shorts as a bathing suit? Lmao I'm so friggin lopsided and the sports bra I have is perfect for evening me out, it's so comfortable that I'm wearing here for everything outside. I'm going to buy more in different colours.
-
-
Luanne, you can wear whatever works for you. We are not coming together to judge each other. May flip some shit but hopefully no one will take things too seriously.
Tazzy, still wishing something would magically change and you would be coming again.
-
Soooooo excited to hear about a New York get together. Just let me now where, and when. Will have to start syphoning off some money into a secret bank account . . . LOL.
-
So sorry Tazzy!!!! :-( I second what iatigger says. If we all pray hard enough maybe a miracle will happen!!!!
-
Luanne....what Iatigger said....wear what ever your heart desires....โค
Tazzy...it's breaking my heart that you wo 't be able to join us..BUT there will be more GTG's .....โค
Liefie....your are too funny....we haven't got to Iowa yet....lol....but NY does sound exciting....๐ -
Perhaps we need to put together a "get Tazzy to Iowa" fund???
-
Anybody has any loose airmiles lying around for Tazzy? Just used all of mine to get tickets to S.A. for DS' wedding in December, so can't help unfortunately.
Scottiee, can't wait to meet you in the big apple! Lol.
-
You guys are all too sweet and kind.ย ย I said to Joanne, its not just the money - that I could suck up, but I just feel I need to be here for DH - he was there for me so much last year - seems the right thing to do.ย ย ย As Scottie says 'they'll be others'.
Love you all xxxxxxxx
-
Liefie......I'm planning a short trip to NJ to visit one of the gals on another thread.
We will be pretty close......lol -
Scottie;ย when/where. I'm in NJ.
-
Juneau....It will be in August sometime. Know idea where the hell I'm going....lol
One of the gals on another thread has been asking me for awhile to come and visit her
so I thought I would go for two or three days. I'll let you know when we are in Iowa...
I'll get the exact address. -

-
I don't think I'll ever be the same, either, but in a good way!๐๐๐น๐ โ๐ธ๐น๐ท๐บ๐ป๐ณ
-
Hate to do this to you ladies but I have to back out too.ย I just can't take the time away from work right now with my boss leaving and being on vacation from the 28th to the 8th (of which I am working 3 days of) AND I need to save the 2 days for the pack/move.
Better plan that meet up in NYC soon!!
-
Sorry you won't be there .... You will be missed
-
Now I am getting bummed
ย I totally understand Juneau but don't have to like it.
OK no more backing out those of you that are left! I will look funny standing on the side of the road cheering by myself.
-
Don't you worry ... Us Canadians are coming .... Wouldn't miss it for anything. Get that blender fired up.
-
Iatigger....especially in your hula skirt...ha ha ha
-
Blender is ready and waiting. I will pick up margs both regular and strawberry if that works for everyone? How about beer, I am a Bud Light Lime person myself.
Scottie No hula skirts but plenty of other tropical bling.
Now all that is needed is the crazy fun gals from BCO 2013 Survivors. -
I have the margarita in a bag for the freezer. I really like the bud lite margaritas .. We can all do a,grocery and booze run ... Now that will be fun .... Won't we be entertaining ... lol. I love grocery stores in the states. Checking out stuff we don't have.
-
;-(. Juneau, that sucks!!! I agree with iatigger. I understand but don't like it. New York City for sure!!!
I'm a Coors light person and white wine, no not together lol... Well, maybe.
