Sheila, was it you who started the Skinny Fibre?

Joanne53 I can do dinner on Tues or Thursday. I work .4 miles away. I can just walk over. Would love if some of the Chicago gals could meet us. I can make the reservation if I know how many of us would be coming. BTW do you like Thai Food. I highly recommend we eat at Star of Siam. That's a 4 minute walk from your hotel. If that's not good I can find something else. Just let me know what you want or don't want. BTW do you know Marj? She's also on this forum (not much anymore) and from Ontario...
Christine and Luanne .... What do you think about Tai food ... We can meet up with Lago from Chicago on Tuesday of you are interested. -
Never had Thai but I'm game for anything but seafood!!!!
-
ok ladies sorry I have been super busy so just caught up here. WTH Juneau! You get your butt on that plane! Tazzy I hate to hear that you can't come either. So here is the scope which might work for all of you. The night of the 18th we are planning on running into the stadium in Kennicks Stadium in Iowa City. All my team mates are running the last 1/2 mile together into that staduim. I have the maps for all of us but you need google earth to open them. I believe our goals is to try and be at the stadium by 8:30 on Thursday but you can follow us at the above and beyond cancer website which has a GPS tracker. I also can give my cell phone to my sister or friend and they can text someone when we are approaching. I am dropping off my car Wednesday night at the hotel at some point so I have a car there and I might need a ride back to the hotel but I might stick around for just a little bit and do some celebrating and I invite all of you as well. Now I have to figure out how to post those maps on here or maybe i will just send to Joanne via FB or post them on the page.
BTW I love Thai! Seafood:) and wish I could join you all in Chicago and really thought about it but I think I would be stretching myself to thin.
Well I am off the chiropractor to work on my hip:)
Time moves so dam fast which is a good thing because only a few more days till I get to hang with all of you! Whoo Hooo!
Michelle
-
Michelle, would you send the maps to me too please. iatigger@aol.com
I will try to save it on my tablet and we can work our way backwards to find you.
-
Aimee that is great .....
-
I'm sitting here reading this and smiling like a damn fool!!! I'm so excited to meet all of you!!!
Michelle, I'll pm you my cell# You just concentrate on your portion of this agenda (bringing us all together in person hehe) and we will find you!!! Send the link to Sheila or Joanne or both and like was said will work our way back to you. You have the hard part honey, you are running!!! Of course you will have a ride back to the hotel, even if I have to walk ;-)
I'm so excited!!! -
I ordered the peanuts today from Wolfie's Nuts. They are soooooo good. I've got beer from The New Glarus Brewery on my list ( spotted cow, totally naked, moon man, fat squirrel, two women, etc). Also cheese (this is the Dairy State after all) and wine. Oh, I think I'm bringing a pitcher, too. Anything else I should bring from Wisconsin? I'll be driving my Toyota Highlander which seats 5-7 people, so I have room in the car! I can't wait ladies!😃
