Wow, what a tremendous amount of work and an equally tremendous gift. You are divine indeed! Thank you so very much.
-
Wow thank you for doing this. Great job!
-
Thanks you so much for doing this!!

TheDivineMrsM, as you requested in your first post, we've been trying to figure a way to show this awesome list in columns, and it doesn't seem to be possible (except by converting it to a graphic image, which makes it uneditable, and with microscopic type!). Here's a small change though that may help, just by making the list single-spaced, and so the OP numbers can be updated in place when you have new names to add. Here's an example, using the "A" members from the list:
- Adey
- Aerial
- aic
- Alex56
- Alphabet
- AmyQ
- AnacortesGirl
- Angela-R
- Angelfalls
- ango74
- Anne45
- Annie62
- Australia
.
If you like, we can edit your original to make it in this format - you'd be able to make changes from there.
-
Moderators,
Your suggestions help a great deal. Every time I hit the 'enter' button on this forum when posting, it double spaces, so that'd be wonderful if you could switch the column to a single space format. It looks so much better and easier to read. Oh, and the numbering: if I understand you, it would correct itself when adding additional names? Because there are already about five more women requesting to be on the list that I'd like to add. So that would be a huge help.
-
Ladies, I'm humbled by your appreciation of this thread. It just sort of happened, so it's not something I really planned. Once the names began to appear on the original thread, it seemed easiest to alphabetize them to keep everyone straight.
I have a secretarial background and currently work in an elementary school (spending time with lots of women telling small children the alphabet and telling them: 'pay attention to detail!') so it came natural to me to compile the list. Using computer tools like cut and paste makes things simpler. Also, that 'undo' button comes in handy! Remember typewriters, return handles on them, and "White-Out"? We've come so far.....
-
Wow! It's amazing to see all compiled together. We are definitely not alone.
Thank you so much for your hard work on this.

DivineMrsM, if you type Shift+Return at the same time, it will be a single space to the next line.
-
NancyD: THANK YOU!!!! As long as I've been a member, I never knew that simple technique. You made me a happy gal!
-
Thank you Mrs. M. Its just incredible to see all of us!
-
Thanks

This is so amazing, DivineMrsM. It's so easy to forget that there are so many of us, out there everyday, living with stage iv. This is such a simple and yet effective way to remind us that we're all here for each other. Thank you, so much.
-
Thank you! You are indeed "Divine"
-
Yes thank you Mrs M!

Thank you!

Please add me to the list (rkt). I am 4 years, 10 months out from original stage iv diagnosis, and have been NED (for the third time) since January 2012. I wasn't on the boards much of January - early April trying to get paperwork under control (you know, insurance appeals, taxes, retirement!).

You can add me...Jan Ries

TheDivineMrsM, we are indebted to you for taking the time and initiative to "put us together!" Seeing beloved and familiar names together provides a warm feeling. The circumstances we find ourselves in may be challenging, but our collective support and knowledge are indeed powerful!
-
Mrs.D This is truly a wonderful thing. Having so many women who are fighting is inspiring and humbling. Thank you again.
