Dancing with the Stars

MLO (most likely out): DL followed by poor Andy
Kellie & Shawn: very nice
Jacoby: Wow!
Zendya: Double Wow!!
-
ruth, I pretty much agree with your post!
I would say, Kelly: beautiful, Zendaya: amazing, Jacoby: hot, hoT, HOT!!!!
And DL, yes, probably gonna go. But still, he went to week 5.
I'm sometimes so amazed at how well celebrities dance!
I loved seeing Maks with Anna Trebunskyia (the red head). They dance so fabulously together. And we got to see Maks in all his hotness and none of the drama, which I like!
-
Just as I suspected...still a few shakey ones to go before we get down to the top contenders.
-
Yes, some VERY GOOD top contenders, all which I'd like to see win!
-
Have to say I really liked the side by side I think all the contestants upped their game, it was really nice to see all the dancers helping the contestants and working them through, and I had to laugh at the taped piece with Val & Maks - obviously both syill Mammas boys...
-
I really enjoyed last night even more than usual.
-
I didn't get to watch last night's show and am not sure who got voted off but my bottom two were Victor and DL. Was impressed by Jacoby (he jumped over her head WOW). Kellie and Zendaya both learned their new dances so well I couldn't pick them out from the pros. Liked Len's side by side challenge and it was fun to see Maks again. Loved Peta's gold lame' outfit and big hair!
-
badger, ha, ha, yeah, not everyone can shake their bootie in gold lame and look as good as Peta. I have sort of a girl crush on her, lol!
-
DL is off, badger. I didn't think I'd like the side-by-side, but I did....helped everyone up their games.
-
thanks Ruth! LOL Mrs.M! I bet she works hard for that hard body!
So that leaves Victor and Andy as most vulnerable IMHO.
Sean is also at-risk because he's got lead feet that even Peta can't save.
I predict that Ingo won't make the finals either.
Best shots to win (in alphabetical order) are Aly, Jacoby, Kellie & Zendaya.
-
Can't remember who is Jacoby's partner but she had to have nerves of Steel to stand so still during that. And how many times did she have to do that??? Much admiration just for grit.
-
luvmygoats, Jacoby's partner is Karina and she was amazed by him, too. She said she didn't think he could do it but of course he did, and without even touching her to vault over her head. There is a good height difference between them but still. Hadn't even thought about how many times they did it in rehearsals!
-
I'll bet the pros are thrilled when they get a really good partner. I'd still like to know how they are paired up!
-
Ruth here's how it goes, Derek gets the 'perceived' best, and poor Tony gets the worst although Tristan is giving him a run for the money!!!!
-
hmmm......
-
I totally loved seeing Jacoby & Karina's dance again.
Sometimes, the ones you think will be good don't pan out. I remember Maks being paired up with Brandi, the singer, and prior to the start of that season, lots of people thought they'd go far but it didn't happen. Also, remember when Sabrina was so good with Mark but got voted off far too soon. And someone like Dorothy Hamil, who you might think would have gone far, gets taken out with injury. Then there are those who come out of left field to win it like JR Martinez, a soldier, and Helio Castranoves, a race car driver!
-
I liked Helio but JR I think is my all time favorite so far--and I've been watching since late in season one.
-
Ooo, that's be so hard to pick a favorite! I do think that everyone who's won the mirror ball trophy has deserved it. My least favorite season was when Donnie Osmond won. For some reason, I found it kind of boring. So many other winners I loved, tho. JR's win WAS wonderful.
-
JR's dance for his military comrads was the most moving dance I've ever seen. I thought it deserved 20's, not 10's.
-
Tonight's show was okay. I loved Zendaya's dance. Kelly & Derek looked exquisite. It's fun listening to Kelly talk, her voice is so cute with that southern accent.
Sheesh, lots and lots of cleavage (or boob-age) tonight!
I enjoyed the 2nd team dance, you know "Pickler/Dick"s group! lol
I think the boxer will be the one to go next.
-
Loved Kellie & Zendaya. Allie was good. Ingo was the only guy I liked very much tonight. Really enjoyed the disco group dance.
-
It is beginning to look like a year for the ladies. None of the guys impressed me tonight. I liked Zendaya, Ali and Kelly. Kelly is a good dancer and Derek is a very good choreographer but with a bit much ego. I got a kick out of her rubbing his nose in it a bit backstage this week. It is probably good for him.
-
We didn't get DWTS tonight. I don't know what was going on, we record on the ABC affiliate, but they were showing something else & it wasn't on the local canadian channel.
By the time we realized it, it was almost over.....
-
Agreed with the results.
-
Agree as well, he seems like such a nice kid but it was time to go.
-
I agreed with the results as well, I knew it would be either him or Andy.
gg27, you can watch it online now. go to ABC.com and watch shows.
Sheila
-
Both he and Andy are sweet, but can't dance. The other guys seem to be relying more on their physiques than their dancing skills IMO.
-
I tried watching it at ABC.com. I'm in Canada so not allowed....
I have the pvr set for Saturday when they have a repeat broadcast. Even though they flashed who went home at ABC, I pretty much knew anyway. But I would like to see the performances.
-
GG27 try this link to CTV - http://www.ctv.ca/DancingwiththeStars.aspx
I didn't watch Tues but read results online and agree with bottom two and who went home.
Loved the white plastic go-go boots the Team Samba girls wore. I had a pair of those!
Zendaya & Val - great! Kellie & Derek - sharp! But he needs to quit mugging for the camera.
-
agreed badger on all counts. re Derek, one of these days his ego could just cost him the trophy.
