val, don't be a stranger........good to see you
-
Hi Val, you are welcome here any time! We missed you!
I hope you selpt some Sandy.
Happy Birthday Meece, enjoy your birthday weekend!
-
Meece - you are always doing for others - so happy that it's your turn to receive some special treatment. Happy Birthday!
Val - glad you are back. I think the caffeine was #1 and aspiring was #2.
Sheila - MH is good? Yay!!! Was old MO happy to see you too?
No shoveling Linda!!! Sorry about the news - hope the fix is soon.
Sandy - I sure am hoping you are sleeping right now! Feel better quickly.
Chris - you must be wiped out being back to work and trying to get everythign done. Thinking of you and wishing you well in the new job. But do come tell us how you are doing soon!
Joan - how are your travel plans coming along? I am excited for my quick trip in early April - DS sent me a video last night where he claims she is saying "Mimi" but it sounded like cat to me. I think he just wants to make me feel good and that helps.
Hello Ducky! Hope you are having a great day.
So, now that we have started spring, it is very cold and may snow today. This will bring Seattle to a hault and is actually funny to watch.
A few minutes ago, while writing this, I heard a major crash followed by running water. DD took her first shower in her new bath and there is clearly a plumbing problem because the laundry room light below her bath fell and disintegrated followed by a flood of water. It's a f/n mess and I am really nervous about how much damage and repair there will be.
-
Crap Diane!!!! I hope everythings OK.
Freaking snowing here again.
-
Entire crew is here - think it will be less repair than I had imagined. Plumber error - didn't hook up drain. Contractor is repairing everything for free. But argh!!!
-
Diane....I'm glad DD is OK.....and the crew is working..........
The weatherman keeps repeating how windy and it is and feels like January.......
(((TOL)))
♥
-
Glad to hear they are working on it. Deep breathes!
-
Diane what idiots, no recommendations for them
slept from 430am to 930am...thanks for asking....nauseous...whatever don't have to go out today, thank goodness.
Whatcha all doing this weekend?
-
Good morning Sandy....
I'm making cabbage and lamb.....It smells like you know what.....
MO didn't call with the results yet........
-
Glad they are going to fix it, Diane. Hope it didn't ruin your stuff. Your plumber must have gone the same plumbing school the one who did this house went to. I've had both upstairs tubs leak onto the kitchen ceiling - not a flood like you described, but still had to have the ceiling patched and resprayed and then replaced the whole tub in the other bath hoping they could hook it up from above and didn't have to cut through the kitchen ceiling -they were able to - luckily. Then a couple yrs ago, we had a leak in a pipe coming down to the newly mostly finished basement from the kitchen which a new plumber was able to fix...I wonder how many other pipes aren't put together right and are waiting to ruin something.
So happy you will be seeing the little one soon!
Sheila - I was wondering who Linda was talking about (John)
I have sumatriptan (Imitrex generic) for the migraines, but I try to catch it early with Excedrin if I can. If Excedrin wears off, I take the sumatriptan. I thought it was the caffeine that causes the rebound - maybe it's a combination. Maybe I'll ask one of my new coworkers when they aren't too busy - so busy in a pharmacy...Not sure I will be able to keep up. Slow witted.
I had what was supposed to be 5 1/2 hrs worth of online training modules to do yesterday for today's class - took me about 12 hrs - went to bed after midnight. Really? It's supposed to take me 15 min to read 30+ pages, understand and remember the material and take an assessment(one module)? Sorry, this old brain ain't workin' that good these days... sheesh. Can those young whipper snappers really learn all that stuff that fast? I can't. And sadly, I don't remember all the stuff I "learned" for the exam I took 5 1/2 months ago. I'm feeling kinda stupid.
So, Linda - you've been shoveling with that shoulder?! Yikes. I've been having shoulder problems too - thought it was a middle age thing...guess yours isn't. Glad you will be able to get it fixed - hope your pain goes down to 0 from 15.
I'm going to the doctor tomorrow to ask what I should do about my sinuses/inner ear. I wonder if they are related. At least this time, the inner ear isn't making me sick like last October. Just dizzy when I look down. They gave me Flonase last fall and told me to take a decongestant, but I don't want to use them every day forever...I haven't been - only using it when I feel like I have a sinus infection (yellow crap). I want to know how to make it go away and stay away without taking those meds forever...and while I'm there I will ask -again - about trying an adhd med. she won't let me try it. I'm not drug seeking - if I were, i would have gone doctor shopping a long time ago. but seriously, I'm like a zombie - and add a full head from bad sinuses and an inner ear -I can't think at all.
Happy Birthday, Meece!
Snow on Monday?!! UGH! I'm supposed to go to training on Monday a bunch of towns away. I'll have to keep an eye on the forcast - thanks for the heads-up.
(((((((TOL))))))))
-
Sorry you're feeling crappy, Sandy. Hope the benadryl helps you get some sleep.
-
checking in Chris sorry, how is mom
still haven't slept....will later and the benedryl isn't working what now....
-
you need to talk to your doctor. Call them now, there is always someone on call. Maybe you can take an over the counter sleep aid or they can prescribe something. xoxo
-
Sandy...please get a RX....maybe you need an anxiety pill.......or something
As much as i enjoyed our late chat on FB....I don't want to see you there..........
Now I will find a very serene picture just for you........♥
MO didn't call for the results...honestly I don't care........And NO didn't have an anxiety attack either
Diane....what's the update?
Chris...please be patient...everything will work out......
-
Happy Birthday Meece...♥♥♥
-
I vote for the anxiety pill! They work wonders!
-
Did you hear from MO Sheila?
-
No Linda....
-
Sandy's bedroom for tonight.........
-
-
I tried to get here earlier tonight, guess nobody's around.
Diane, what a horrible thing to happen with the plumbing! Good grief! And those guys get paid the BIG bucks?!?
Chris, I'd be SOL doing online training with my dial-up!! And my memory isn't what it used to be either, esp taking this Aromasin. Hey, I have 11 months to go on that & my 5 years will be up. Hallelujah!!!
Don't y'all hate it when a hair gets caught between your shirt & chest & you can't find it?! And it keeps tickling you & it drives you nuts??!!
Just a crazy TOL thought.....
-
I am in late. Although my birthday is tomorow, the family got together at my mom & dad's. DH bought me a Grow light set up for my green house and DIL asked what I was going to grow with it, and would I be growing it in my closet!
Got home and got my paycheck for last Saturday's dinner. Wow! I think they want to entice me to do another, and for that kind of $ I will. Since they are friends, and we agreed to split the profit, I wasn't expecting as much. That'll pay some bills this month!
-
Happy Birthday, Meecie!
Have a beautiful, spectacular day!
Big Hugs!
-
Thank you! You are up late...or up early!
-
-
Hope you hear something today Sheila. Maybe call and bug them!
-
Mmmmmm thank you, Linda! Absolutely love strawberries!
One nice thing about my birthday is someone else makes the cake! DH bought me pink champagne cake from a place famous for them.
-
Enjoy the cake!! Pictures??
-
Well DH took pics but they are on his phone. This is exactly what my cake looked like although it said Happy Birthday and had MY name on it.
-
Love it!!! Enjoy the cake. I have never had champagne cake! Although I have had champagne and cake!!
