Tampa area BCO sisters get togethers

Does this mean the hamster gets to have a brief stay at my house? If so, yay! they are so cute!
-
LOL, would you like one for an extended stay, SpecialK? I have many to find homes for.
-
DLL66, can you give them to the pet store you got the mother from?
-
They came from an individual through a Craigslist ad, but I can ask if they want them at the pet store.
-
It's worth a try it sounds like you have quite a few to give away! Soon more will be created.
-
No extended hamster stay for me - my DD is an animal collector - at one point we had a cat, 2 guinea pigs, a spotted leopard gecko, a dog, a sun conure, 2 bearded dragons, fish, hamsters, a mouse and a horse. A veritable zoo! I need FEWER animals! We are down to the dog, the 2 dragons and the sun conure!

.....hmmmmm, a new development? I've got a lump on the inside of my left hip, possibly ovaries, Fallopian tube or maybe a lymph node. My appointment is on March 8th with my gyn.
Since I'm on Arimidex and came into this post menopausal, I'm a little concerned about an ovarian/follopian lump. I've never had an abnormal pap, ever!
Got any ideas?
Lorraine -
Lorraine, no borrowing trouble. Until you've been told otherwise you're going to have to assume it's nothing. I know...easier said than done! We'll all be on tenterhooks until we see you and you'll have seen the gyn by then.
-
DLL, let me check with my sister and see if I can get one for my nephews. It is time they had a hamster. They are 5 and 9. Only obstacle is...how do hamsters and CATS usually get along????
-
Bwah...too funny Ameron!!!!
-
SpecialK,
May I ask what is a Sun Conure?
Lorraine -
DLL,
"Sometimes school classes will have a hamster or rabbit" worth a try?
Lorraine -
firework - a sun conure is a small-ish parrot like bird. Here is a pic:
-
Beautiful Bird! I'd like to see on Saturday.
Lorraine -
He will be here! He is tiny but obnoxious - I am still amazed that such a little bird can make so much NOISE!
-
LOL, I've got a chihuahua with the same trouble! Doesn't bother me but Oy vey! , my poor neighbors!
See you then.... -
Last night I dreamed that I brought home a little black goat & convinced my husband to keep it.
Beautiful bird, SpecialK!
Ameron, I guess it depends on whether or not the cats can get into the hamster cage or not.
-
Hey, Zappons! How are you feeling? Hope everything went well.
-
Well, I'm definitely not going to Tennessee now so I should be there. Can someone pm me the address?
-
nb, did you get the address? Just PM Special K.
wow, its been freezing for FL. I had frost all over my car this morning. I hope it starts to warm up a little. I wore wool socks with my sneakers to work and still my feet were cold. (I was almost happy to get one of my hot flashes!!! )
-
Saturday...exciting!
-
Lee7 - I got the address. Thanks!
-
Well, still hoping I can make it Saturday, but everyone in the house seems to have the flu! I hate the flu!!!
-
kira - oh no! I hope you stay well, and all at your house are feeling better soon!
-
Hi All....anyone from Pinellas Co. going to SpecialK's Saturday that might want to car pool???
-
It's this cold weather making everyone ill....we're just not use to it. I like the 70's, not the 40's. Brrrr.
Hope you'll be better by Saturdayy Kira and can still make it. Drink lots of OJ! the extra Vit C can't hurt.
-
I'm fairly new to the site, just found this thread.
I am in Dunedin though, and this sounds like what I'd really like. I always forget when the cancer group meets at Morton Plant.
I've done the chemo, bilateral mx, 5 more rads, but am getting a week off cause my skin fell apart. Thanks Taxotere. Have LE too.
Nice to meet you all, I'll be around! -
If it doesn't warm up, y'all may get to see my furry leopard boots in person. Hope you stay well, kira.
Hi Spookiesmom.
-
Giving hubby lots of oj, and trying to stay well. DD comes over daily to work at the office is sick as well, so far I'm fine! I'm keeping good thoughts I've been exposed to so much from work I'll fight it off!
-
Ameron,
I'm here in feathersound. Near you? Pm me your address and let's see if we can ride together, I'll drive!
Lorraine
