Joan...I didn't do any shopping for weeks now...
I need emergency bras...i'm not kidding.....I decided to get couple for the weight I'm now when and if i loose more than 10 pounds i can get 2 more
I wish i had a set weight....I'm not saying the same but since i came back from the wedding almost gained 18 pounds
Lack of walking is not helping me......
-
Been busy and had to catch up.
Costco's brand is Kirkland. I haven't tried the tuna but I do like thier canned chicken.
No more rain, thank goodness. We will be outdoors at the home show this weekend. It is still too cold for me as the highs are only to be around 60º.
I wish my wieghy would fluxuate down. So tired of where I am at. I lost 5 lbs during this most recent bout of crud, but back up now that I am on my feet again. Must mean that I am more likely to have my feet take me to the pantry!
-
good afternoon......anybody getting more snow, we are getting rain and stuff but no snow....never been to costco, we don't have one around here that I know of we have BJ's which I have to go to, they take food stamps now and I joined with my daughter....yea Joan but I am picky as to whose I do cause don't want to get into any BS, so only do about 4 including mine....Chris sorry about your mother....it is so hard.....I just kept remembering that I was going to be older someday also...
Thanks guys, and Shiela was supposed to work today but Friday after chemo is my bad day, fade in the afternoon so no Mom mom and Andrew day for me today, plus broke, and he wants to play miniature golf (indoors) will take him another time....HAPPY FRIDAY....oh an puter is sort of working, after I click on something I have to wait for a while for it to come through.....getting memory as soon as I can....I hate it but I have patience...yea right...luv you guys...
-
TGIF on school vaca week!
-
I feel like the grinch......oh the noise, noise, noise NOISE!!!
-
Too bad my plantar faciitis doesn't keep me from going to the pantry...
Hope you aren't fading too much, Sandy.
Lol - Grinch Linda. Back to peace and quiet Monday?
Still waiting for the next step in the hiring process. Called the manager - he said it's in the background check part of the process. I don't know why that should take any time - there isn't anything for them to find...maybe they think they're missing something because I have gaps in my employment. Those are called child care and cancer tx followed by the horrendous economy...nothing nefarious (except for the economy.)
-
lol Chris! That is funny!! (about your feet!!)
-
Chris...I had that feet thing and I know lots of people that have it the pantry, how far is it..
typical friday after chemo, faded...up now but still a typical friday night after chemo....
any plans for the weekend? Me nope!!!
-
Meece, thanks for the tuna brand info. What does it cost to join Costco? Do they ever give free member trials?
I have been eating better and less...am just about 5 lbs. down....not sure I can keep it up .... am such a carbs binger. I have more energy and am focusing a little better.
Sheila, you are right about being less active in this cold and snow...we've had snow on the ground for 14 days now. I haven't done this much of nothing on the week ends as I have this winter. -
Chris, it must be unnerving to have to wait for this job...I have received letters in the mail to answer background questions about people and the turnaround is really slow...not sure why it's taking so long for you though. Good luck with this!
-
WTF.....lost you guys disappeared from my favorites....
Sandy....there is a Costco, brand new at Briton Lake.....that is right past Glen Mills.....heard the variety is mot as good as BJs, but have never been there.....I do believe BJ's is hurting. Does not seem as crowded. Many who live out past Media are going to Costco now...fine by me...I hated the long lines.....
Shelia, if you were a 38c I have at least 10 bras I am waiting to get back into.....good luck with that....I think I have shit in every size, all new.......and they are not cheap bras....Bali, $26.00......oh we'll, they will go in the Goodwill bag with the rest of my shit when I die.
Bought a book at BJ's today called.....Jesus Calling........figured it was worth $9.00 to hear what he had to say.......also bought The Death of Bees.......recommended by one of the crazy ladies on the STFU thread...."no it wasn't Grannydukes"...it's about 2sisters killing their parent's, and burying them in the backyard.......will make sure I don't leave it where the kids can read it..........
Ok going to bed......hugs -
Hi Ray, am trying to get tired enough to go lie down...hope you are OK. And Jacob? Is he doing better? I hope you are sleeping by now...
-
Joan, Costco has several levels of membership. Not sure what the cost is, but I'm thinking probably $40 to $50 a year. Don't quote me on it though.
Weird, the first paragraph of this post is in bold and I can't get it to change !
-
I had a tough time sleeping. I hope you did Ray. Are things getting better at home? I sure hope so. Hope you slept too Joan.
That book sounds interesting, I will have to get that one.
God morning All. I al happy to report they are down playing this storm. Still getting snow but originally they said 16 inches. Now they are saying 6. Much better! Heavy wet snow which stinks but this is New England!!
-
The first day of the home show was sucessful. DH and I sold two of our fish. The weather was nice until the sun went over the hills.
-
Yay Meece, sellling stuff always works...
Linda, omg so much snow, summer is really coming..and get the book and come to the STFU thread we go to....haven't decided if I am going to read it need to find out the rules, lol
Ducky....oh ok, haven't been to bj's in a while, but will...
Ray hope all is well with you, and the baby is getting better....
(Joan) (Granny) (Chubba)(Diane) and all I forgot....
waiting for daughter to bring me gas money, overspent out of my fixed income money and not feeling well from chemo and will go to walmart and get food....HAPPY SATURDAY!!
-
(((Sandy))) hope you get out before the rain...han't started here yet.
I'm buying the book for my Kindle.Meece -- fish? [I'm trying to think of the possibilities - dinner, pets, art?]
Linda - I didn't realize you were getting accumulation. I looked at the maps and the snow line is definitely north, but I guess you make the snow-cut. Be careful. I didn't sleep well...from 2 to about 6 then tossed for a long time and dozed off again, only to awake to DH rummaging through my pocketbook for haircut money. That ended my sleep. -
Good morning to you all.......
Joan...Costco membership is $55.00 for the regular one.....
Sorry for the sleepless nights...(TOL)...I know it leaves you with no energy next day.......
Sandy......Sorry you're not feeling good....maybe DD can pick up some things for you.......♥♥

-
Congrats on starting the new job. Take care of youreslf Ray.
Glad you had a nice day Meece!
Crap, all othr comments that I don't remember are on a previous page. Brain melt! Sorry!
-
Oh yeah, it's snowing now. Maybe I wasn't clear. We were supposed to get 16 inches and now they are saying 6. That's a good thing!
-
Glad you're not getting the 16 inches, Linda.
Hope you made it to Walmart, Sandy.
Hope everyone sleeps well tonight.
Is the little guy feeling better, Ray? I hope so.
Wish I could give you some of my smallness so you could wear a smaller sized bras...
Got the email(s) I was waiting for - I think I need to give them permission to do the background check - that's what these emails are for. When the mgr said I was in the background check part of the process, I guess he meant the very beginning. I could use a little time before the job starts, so I'm in no rush for them to get through it all. I haven't looked at the website to see what they want me to do- will do that in am. It says do it at your convenience, but within 24 hrs of receipt of the email - lol - yeah, that's convenient. I don't know if there is any drug test info on the website - I didn't want to have it say I had to have the test within 24 hrs today and not be able to do it tomorrow - so complicated...
My mother goes home Tuesday - 2 more nights of "I'm going to be alone... what am I going to watch on tv?...I can't just go to sleep..." Bad thing is I will have to go back to making supper for my ingrate family. I think I will tell them they have to tell me what they want or I'm not making anything. They don't like my cooking - and I don't like cooking for them. It's been nice leaving it up to my spouse. Let's see - what did he make for them... quesadillas for about 4 days 'til he ran out of ingredients, pigs in a blanket, fish sticks, pasta and meat sauce, Big Y chicken pot pie (which I like), Wendy's, McDonald's, Moe's (mexican)... I don't know or remember what else.
I'm still trying to lose weight. Exercised today for first time since before xmas. I am SO out of shape. I had been doing resistance level 6 - today I did level 4! And I had to start taking breaks after only 10 min - and burned only 200 calories (allegedly) in more than 25 min. So sad. But I needed to try to boost my metabolism since I've been trying not to eat much and haven't been doing anything so I could try to lose more weight. Will be hard not to eat if I go back to making supper. I will just have to make supper, give it to them, and then get busy cleaning up the pots and pans so I don't sit down and stuff my face... So hard to lose weight.
((((((TOL)))))))
-
Oh Chris...i'm sorry it's too overwhelming to handle everything at once......Once you get organized with the cooking and everything else you'll feel better..........
A suggestion...Can you cook at your home and bring it there.......
Ray....I'm thinking of you and wishing life will treat you better....(((Jacob)))♥
Where is Diane????
Linda...One more day..Monday is around the corner.......
(((TOL)))
I started watching Shindler's List.....but it's becoming too much for me...i need to find a comedy.....
I walked some today.....Nothing interesting in my life......I feel calmer day 2.......
DD1 is getting married the last Saturday in June.......
and all the plans were finalized yesterday......Thank God to that.........
So far so good.....She said to me some well meaning family and friends are asking her or telling her she should be doing this and that........I know my daughter......She plans things and she is very organized...doesn't like fancy stuff....They both agreed on everything that's what it counts
I'm happy if they are happy......I hate fancy stuff so for me this will be the perfect wedding
-
♥ ♥ ♥
-
Chris, the older we get the harder t is to lose weight. Keep plugging at it! Good luck with the background check and with your Mom. ♥
