AMERICAN IDOL...Season 12 & The Voice...Season 4

Well I can kinda guess who is going through but most names escape me! ; )
-
Julz...That's why i started to write their full names on my notebook......Very bad with names
-
Whoa, Amanda can sing!!! Only the girls who sang flawlessy will make it through. Might miss a Jennifer Hudson by cutting so drastically.
-
Karen I really think Jennifer Hudson was eliminated not because she couldn't sing....It was her personality and she always looked angry....
They say it's a singing competition but for most of us is a whole package......
-
They picked the best, too bad there wasn't a sixth chair for Isabella, I thought she was quite good. Very satisfied with the judges tonight, the boys have to match the girls, who set the bar really high. Sheila, yes it was her attitude, we are looking for the total package. See you tomorrow ladies.
-
Another satisfied fan here.....
Actually the Judges were very entertaining and there was no nonsense
So far so good......
Good night All !
-
Good night! Now I'm off to work
-
Sorry folks I was busy getting the hair cut and colored. I am not watching on dvr... of course I already have the spoiler so I know who is going home. Very disappointed in the fact that the sent Shubda home, thought she did excellent. JMO. I do like Kree but she has not won me completely over. I really love Angela right now and I am hoping Rachel Hale in the next grils blows them away! I want her to go to the live shows on tv. No watching Isabella and she is very good, but a couple of flat notes I did note. I still think Shubda should have stayed but oh well.
-
I am starting to love Nicki's comments....she just says it like it is... is she channeling Simon Cowell without the snarkiness?
Yeah, they sent some good voices home, but seriously, I think the judges got it right!
GOING HOME:
Jenny Beth Willis – sweet girl, nice voice, but at 17 she still has time to mature and really develop her voice and maybe try again next year.
Brandy Hotard – Yep! Beauty Pageant singer! Talented, poised, polished, but disconnected. Like Nikki wrote down in her notes “Why are you smiling when you sing the sad parts?”
Shuba Vedula – she SO reminds me of Rachel in “Glee”!!! Except not quite as talented. I agree – she should have stayed at the piano, or not done Gaga at all. Again, very poised teenager. Maybe next year?
Kamaria Ousley – I thought this was an AMATEUR competition… but she said she’s been “in the music business forever” singing backup for, oh, I forget who. Maybe she got fired, because IMO, she was AWFUL. Maybe she just fibbed on her resume?
Isabelle – I heard SO many flaws in her song tonight! Pitchy, got off beat with the band, yet overall, she does have a powerhouse voice, no doubt about it. But others were better.
MOVING AHEAD
Tenna Torres – Loved her voice and her performance. Too bad about the hair, but I agree with Nicki.
Adriana Latonio – what a little firecracker! Old soul in a little teenage body.
Kree Harrison – my favorite as of tonight!!! Wearing a simple flowing blouse, jeans, and boots, when all the other girls were glitzed up and showing skin really allowed her to just shine through her voice.
Angela Miller – UGH. Last week, she did SO well - performing her original music, with her awesome voice, sitting at the piano. But tonight’s performance was forced, artificial, and tough to watch. She is very good, though.
Amber Holcomb – Well, despite Randy’s comment about Isabelle’s song being too old fashioned, he sure enjoyed Amber’s “My Funny Valentine”. She wasn’t my favorite tonight, but she has promise.
-
Blessing....You are a professional.....Thank You
Now we will be expecting to see a post from you day after AI right?
-
Tonight on American Idol Season 12, it will be the guys’ turn to impress the judges in another two-hour show. For Las Vegas Round 2, 10 men will perform, but only half of them will survive the night to make it to the Top 20. Here’s the list of who will be singing tonight:
Charlie Askew
Chris Watson
Curtis Finch, Jr.
Devin Velez
Elijah Liu
Jimmy Smith
Johnny Keyser
Joshua “Josh” Jada Davila
Kevin Harris
Paul Jolley -
Sorry I think the judges made several mistakes last night in who they sent home and kept. Overall NOT impressed!! Guess we shall see tonight. I also did NOT like the fact that they called them out in front of a live audience with their parents their, to tell them that they weren't going through. That is a very hard thing to take to have your feelings stomped on by a group of 4 judges 2 of whom I think should not be judging at all anyway (I shall say no more). JMO... I think American Idol is a sinking ship. I will be very surprised if it returns next year. Too many complaints I've read about and the ratings are still declining. I really wonder if X-factor will return after this year. Simon seems to keep having problems with picking people to co-host and judge that "he likes" along with the producers. Personally I thought Khloe K. and Brittney S. were great and Britt was one of the biggest reasons I tuned in. The season before I didn't watch I couldn't stand it. It was just too boring. I guess we will see how the Voice goes this season without Christina and CeeLo. Somehow if you don't find the right fit for the judges it just doesn't flow and work well. All 3 may soon find they are headed out the door.
Very disappointing considering I liked all 3 of them especially AI and the Voice. Please understand I'm just venting... I'm so disappointed in the producers of AI this year and in the judges. I hope it gets better.
-
Vent my friend vent...That's why we are here for
We are not fake right....
i still say it will be a girl AI this year.......
-
Don't Like the expression
SUDDEN DEATH
-
This is not a racist remark...........I don't like male singers with make up gay or not........
-
I'm old!
-
Karen....WHY?
-
I'm not enjoying the show tonight.....
So far i didn't hear anybody that i liked......
And NM is on my last nerve.....
OK I shut up now.
-
Hi Ladies....
Not watching regularly so haven't been posting... Watching tonight and trying to figure out who's who,... both judges and contestants....
And Karen.... Old is a state of mind and you, my friend, are not old...lol! -
The makeup, high heels, sparkles, extensions - I'm at that age that sometimes I hear my mother's words coming out of my mouth. I'm just basically a Keith Urban girl. NM is back to strange tonight and pushing the strange, it is going to be a AI girl this year.
-
I'm a Blake Shelton girl......
Karen...i don't think it's an age think...even when i was younger I never liked the craziness
I like this guy who is singing now Davin Velez........It was refreshing.........
-
OK... what is UP with the red light that is shining down on all of the contestants? I was thinking the last guy with the bandana looked like a cross between Ronald McDonald and Cher... But now I see it was not his fault... It is the lighting...
-
Hi Seaside......
-
Devin - finally a singer!!!! That red light is a tricky element, love the Ronald McDonald descriptor. NM is on my last nerve too, Elijah is marketable right now, in what world?
-
Hi Sheila!
Trying to do a crash course catch-up... Yikes, things are a while lot different from last season... Not sure about the judges yet... -
This is very painful to watch. Rocket Man not.
-
Fans are growing...Welcome.......
I think NM needs sex...what's all those remarks.........
-
OK Nikki.... You we GET it... you are obsessed with all of the guy performers but please... break out the thesaurus and lets find a different phrase... Might I suggest possibly captivated... or maybe bewitched.... Anything...
And for goodness sake... You are bordering on creepy with your responses to these young guys... -
Can they get 5 out of this crew, that's what happens when you go for strange-ohs. Sheila, she needs something, she needs to stop talking, she was so sane last night. Charlie was in never, never land.
-
Lol Sheila.... I think you are right!
