Tampa area BCO sisters get togethers

I'm excited!
-
SpecialK, I'm not surprised at your opening your home considering how kind you've been to so very many on BCO, including Myself. Others too have graciously and generously offered to host a gathering.
Cheesecake, Beefcake, Potluck (themed or not), it will be a event and there's no doubt about that. As another said, without the public scrutiny too. No looks or stares when we talk a bit louder about BREASTS and that we've looked and touched or show off the work we've had.
-
Please put me down as a maybe for March 9th. I want to attend, but I may be going out of town with my brother to see my new niece.
-
Hi all. I look forward to seeing eveyone one on the 9th, I will be there.
Galsal I couldn't agree more. I ditto eveything you said!
Lee7...looking forward to that "hunk" of beefcake!!! whoohoo!
SpecialK, thank you for inviting us to your home!
-
Galsal, you are right about that! We do get odd looks when we poke and prod each other and when our conversations are overheard.
The attendance list is updated for what I read so far. nbnotes, I hope you are able to join us.
We have a few more of our regulars to hear from still, and I hope we have new friends we have yet to meet.
-
SpecialK, are you sure you are ready to be invaded like that? I would love to join y'all. Will check the schedule @ work, but I am pretty sure I can make it.
Pam, if you are considering lat flaps & have any questions, you can ask me--I have 2 & am very happy with them.
-
sorry...wish I could deliver on the 'hunk' but
, can't say I know of any in real life.
I can bring cheesecake though!! Can I still come?
-
I am excited to be having a party and to be able to see all of you who can make it! Lee7 you can come without the hunk or the cheesecake!
-
Hi Ladies,
Just checking in to see how everyone is doing. I see you are plotting another get together! SpecialK that is so nice of you to host at your home. I will certainly try and make it too.
Also wanted to let everyone know just got my 3 YEAR checkup since I finished treatment. Although it wasn't an "official" all clear since Onco didn't want to give me another petscan, bloodwork was good, so 2013 is off to a great start!
Hope all of you are well too!
-
That is great news, ameron. And glad that you will be joining us again.
-
ameron - yay!
monday'schild and ameron - why are we awake?
-
Great news, ameron!
-
dll - you're awake too!
-
Yes
I have been accused of being a vampire...
-
I don't think I am a vampire - maybe a night owl with insomnia. Then again, I did work in the Blood Bank....
-
I knew I liked you, SpecialK...
-
Lol!
-
yes unfortunately up late always!
-
Ameron - What good news!
-
Ameron, what great news!
-
Ameron!! That's great news! Now I hope you can join us on the 9th, so we can toast to good health, good friends and always, good news!
-
SpecialK,
Please put me down as a maybe. Thank you for the invitation. I will try! Pam -
Hi, All,
Ameron, great news!
SpK, thx for hosting... Will I be up and about by then ? Really do not know what to expect here with the exchange surgery on Monday 😬Any tips would be welcomed. But I would sure like to see everyone.
Dll, if you are going, perhaps I might hitch a ride?
Hugs to all! -
Zappons, just about any surgery you'd be up and around after a few weeks. My reconstruction surgery was early July and we had a gathering in late July. I attended, walker and all. A few of the lovelies here offered to come and get me since I couldn't drive then.
-
Zappons, good luck on Monday! Hope your exchange is squishy & uneventful & that you are up & around ASAP. I will gladly pick you up on the 9th.
Would anyone like a baby Syrian hamster (or 2)? I got 2 8-week old females from Craigslist for my son & it turns out that one of them was already knocked up, so we now have 13 little hamsters. The babies are 11 days old & just starting to walk on their own. Syrians are the bigger, more friendly hamsters. The babies are cream-colored or chocolate w/white paws.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
-
DLL66, Would they be ready to go home when we meet next month? I would
love to have one for the classroom.
-
But will they eat cheesecake?
-
Zappons,
I left a message on your home phone. I'd wanted to discuss your exchange surgery and what mine was like. Sounds like you've gotten so e great advice here!
I will be thinking of you on Monday and looking forward to seeing you March 9th.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Lorraine -
Kira, yes they should be ready by then. They are really cute!
Lee7, I'm pretty sure they'd eat cheesecake!
-
DLL66 I would love one of the chocolate colored ones. I'll bring a cage with me to put it in. The kids will be so excited to have a hamster in the class!
