Tampa area BCO sisters get togethers

The 4th (tuesday) would be better for me, and thank you for thinking about my timing in the scheduling. Ceviche sounds good!
-
Sounds like I will probably have to skip the next meetup. I know we have a midnight release party at work the 3rd & I will likely have to work on the 4th. My work schedule is kind of crazy through the beginning of January, so I'll try to make the next gathering.
-
I just forgot we need a Thursday. I'm calling chemobrain on that one. How about we do Ceviche on Thursday, December 6? That will work with both schedules.

Ha! I'd say schedule whatever works best for most people & I will make it if I can. (I really need to get out of retail. Work is infringing on my playtime.)
-
Okay, DLL. Playtime December 6
-
Sounds great!
-
I am putting it on my google calendar right now.
-
I might have a rehearsal but once I know, I'll let you know!
-
Okay. I am willing to show my age. What is a Google calendar?
-
Google calendar is a free online agenda. I can input events and appointments online or on my phone and have it send me alerts and/or email reminders.
-
I am a slave to my Outlook and email that follows me everywhere like a shackle. Online, on desktop, on phone...it finds me. Sadly.
-
Sounds like you need more playtime too!
-
Just want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving ! Here's my 5 step plan.
1. Eat turkey.
2. Eat pie.
3. Eat more turkey & more pie.
4. Take a nap.
5. Wake up and repeat starting at Step 1.
Enjoy!!

Love the Thanksgiving directions! May all have a special day tomorrow.
-
Happy Thanksgiving, ladies!
Hope everyone has a nice day & plenty of good eats.
I have to go in to work @ 7 pm.
-
dll - Happy Thanksgiving to you too - and all our local ladies! Sorry you have to work, but if you follow Lee7's directions maybe you can be in a food coma for part of the night!
-
Happy Thanksgiving, Tampa Gals! I just put my last pie in the oven! This year I am thankful for good health and new friends. Blessings to you all.
-
Happy Thanksgiving from Arizona -- made the trip to be with family since I'll be recovering at home from DIEP stage 2 at Christmas. My sister has our Thanksgiving meal all planned and we all have duties assigned. I'm on sweet potato casserole and stuffing. Looking forward to eating my mom's pumpkin pie.
Not sure I can make that Dec 6 get-together, but hope to catch the next one.
Have a Blessed Thanksgiving!
-
Happy Thanksgiving Tampa Bay Sisters! I hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable day!
-
Happy thanksgiving!
-
HAPPY THANKSGIVING from me, too!!!!
Be safe on the road and be sure to eat TOO MUCH!!! I'm all for an eating coma. It's an altered state after all!
-
If I've not said it already, Happy Thanksgiving. On the 27th, seeing Dr. Khouri in Miami. Will let you know how that goes.
-
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and to your families! For the first time in my life, I had no Thanksgiving feast this year as I am literally on the other side of the world this week. It's not even Thursday here anymore and is already Friday morning. I never get used to that.
Maybe they will have turkey tapas at Ceviche.
I look forward to seeing you all there soon.
-
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. I hope all had a great day. I am so thankful for good health this year. Had the energy some what back to have the entire family over for the first time in almost 3 year. What a blessing that was, but must say I'm tired now.
-
I'd love to join you all. I'm new to this area, husband is in the military so we move around a lot. I'm in Clearwater.....Feather sound area. Please email me regarding any changes to the scheduled get together on Dec 6th.
Thanks all,
Lorraine

welcome Lorraine! while it's a shame you are in this journey too, it's good that you've spoken up. there's a lot of knowledge from this group of women.
where did you transfer from?
-
Welcome Lorraine. This is a great group of ladies!
Kira sounds like you had a wonderful day!
Galsal hope your appointment with Dr. Khouri (in Miami) goes really well.
Hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving Day! I did.
-
Lorraine,
Please do join us. Welcome to the Tampa area and welcome to BCO. Watch the header for updates, but so far the same schedule is planned.
-
Glad to see you posting again, nbnotes. Galsal, I am looking forward to hearing about your consult for AFT recon. DLL66, so unfair that anyone should have to work on Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving Day is not about retail consumption and instead is about Lee's kind of consumption!
I am looking forward to seeing everyone upon my return. I hope someone has leftover turkey for me.
-
Welcome Lorraine! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I confess, I DID eat too much. Silly me! I'll have to be a little more prudent for future upcoming holiday feasts/parties. It hurt. But we had a wonderful time. It was PERFECT...and I'm a perfectionist, so that says it all!
I won't be able to make the next gathering after all.
I have a really busy week that week and I seem to only have so much energy per day. Usually I'm in bed by about 8 and on Friday morning, I have to be in Tampa at 8:30 am to teach a master class, then go play a gig at 10:30 am back in St. Pete, and then play a concert that evening. Anyway, you get the idea. It is so rare that I'm that busy on one day, but there it is.
I'll miss you but will look forward to our next gathering!
