I like Zenni, too. In case no one posted it, the only little drawback is, you can't send the frames back to them for prescription changes, but I took mine to America's Best since I really liked my Zenni frames. I have bought three pairs of glasses so far from Zenni, and have been very happy with them.

This week I broke down and got my eyebrows done with a tatoo process. My daughter says now you can actually notice my blue eyes again.

I never really got my brows back after chemo and i always thought I looked sick.So I highly recomend it if your brows bother you.

You have BLUE EYES???? I've met with you a half a dozen times and never noticed your eye colour!!Wink Post a pic Mum...PULEEZE???? I consider brows to be the frame for the eyes. Years ago my sister asked me if my eyebrows were thinning. I said no. Since that day they have thinned so MUCH that I have to fill them in with powder!! It's like a Stephen King novel or something!!! Sheesh!

Mumito do you mind me asking how much it cost and where did you have it done?  A regular tatoo place or where?  I was thinking about checking into this!  :)

mt4ever I pmed you. Here in canada permanent makeup is done in clinics or spas not tatoo parlours. Some clinics offer cancer survivors discounts.

I just went through the threads and saw that Apple had passed away. That is terribly sad news- she was always a ray of light on these boards. I don't come here much anymore, but I do remember her well from her posts. She had young children as well, so I pray for them.

Oh my goodness, I did not know either that Apple passed away. She helped me so very much and I am so sorry to hear this.

She still is a ray of sunlight in my life as I read over some of her wonderful upbeat ieas here...

    Prayers for her family....

I used a little bit of rose oil with a little bit of coconut oil and it was wonderful on my face and arms.

I, too, had not heard about Apple. I'm so sorry, and it makes me very sad. Everyone on these threads has become a friend, a sister, and a single passing is depressing. I feel for her family.

Have you tried Argan oil?  It is pricey at drugstores but not expensive at all at a beauty supply store like Sallys.  Makes hair shiny, frizz free, and polished looking.  I love it!

I've tried the Sally's brand too. Much cheaper and seems to work just the same.

I found an amazing skin cream that helped my skin SO much.  My chemo wrinkles, splotches, and dullness went away.  Best of all my hyper-pigmentaton on my breast from radiation is almost gone!!  I could not be happier.  I was so tired of seeing the dark skin when I took my shirt off--it was way worse than the scars.  The cream is called NeriumAD.  You can find it at www.gerdes.theneriumlook.com.  Good luck feeling girly again :)

Anybody else have advise about eyebrow tatoos?  My eyebrows came back very fine and lighter than they used to be.  I'm nervous about doing tatoos because I still want to look natural.

I can vouch for mumito`s brows as I saw them in person. She looks about 7 years younger with darker brows!!

These are some great tips.  I have considered the eyebrow tattooing but am so afraid the artist will mess them up and I will be stuck with them.  In the meantime, I use the Bobbi Brown Natural Brow Shaper to color them in and I do get many compliments.  I may try the Benefit brand to see how they compare.  I take Bio-Sil and have seen an improvement in my nails.  Skin was grey and flaky so I started using heavier moisturizer.  I would like to try the Clarisonic as many of you recommended.  I found an under eye cream with a luminous finish (Origins GinZing) but would love to find a moisturizer or primer with the same luminessence (sp?).  Anyway, any recommendations?

As for hair, on my last trip west I had a Navajo guide talk to me about yucca so I found a yucca shampoo at Target and have been using it, I started on bare scalp.  I have almost 1" growth now and it seems thicker and is really soft.  Don't know if this is from the shampoo, but it is straight this time!  Last time it was curly and I did not like!

ps. what does pfc stand for?
