Good evening, Loungettes! How is every one this evening?
Oooh, What's it like seeing noises, Cammy??????
Goldie--I did not realize how unalive I have been feeling the last 5 years. I think I had forgotten what it was like to actually feel alive and well and happy. I could get used to this! My phone was in my car, I keep forgetting I can take pics with it. FlyLady is a woman who hosts a website devoted to helping SHE (Sidetracked Home Executives) with getting rid of clutter and getting the housework under control. She uses an approach of setting up routines so that things become automatic. She also uses a timer to derail perfectionism--work on something for 15 minutes, when the time goes off do something else. It gets you started and then keeps you from getting overwhelmed. www.flylady.net It's been a lifesaver for me!
BERNIE---HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!
ORLA--I could deal with insomnia if my brain would think about random $hit. When I can't sleep my brain focuses on one very scary or upsetting thing and won't let it go!
CynCyn--Concord bus was it. Goes to South Station then on to Logan. The maize may be big, but you can hear the people at the other games and stuff, and you can always put your back to the sun and keep walking through the stalks until you come out. I just really enjoy the fun being "lost" while knowing I'm perfectly safe and can get out any time if I need to. I guess it's the illusion of being lost, really.
TABBY--A weather wimp? What a concept!
DorKable--you are so good at telling drunken stories!
Hey Chrissy! Good to see ya!
BBBBernie= Beautiful Biker Babe Bernie!!!
Cammy--what do you suppose that tattoo will look like in 30 years? And are you sure you want your fever to knock you up?
Hey Undy! Where you been????
I don't have Siri, but I'm thinking about looking into getting a clone of her!
Mema--I did have a lot of fun, in the maize and jumping on the jump pillow! Nothing like being with kids to ensure you have a lot of fun!
Juliet--we nurses do have very odd ways of looking at the world. Saved by the boob is just one of them! Glad she 's doing well. Training in de-escalation is a good thing, but it doesn't solve every problem.
YEAH for seeing that DorKable is through surgery and doing fine!

Hi girls-going to see Frankenstein and Bride of Frankenstein in the theater.
Love the classics. This theater serves restaurant food and likker! Enjoy Dork's eye candy, somebody needs to break him in since she's not feeling well. Any volunteers? -
Me! Me! Me! Me! Me! Me! Me! Me! Me! Me!
I'll volunteer!
-
Back Down NM I volunteered forst or at least I did it in my head. And I love how u remember everyone and my MISTAKES that u love to point out LOL I used to correct my typing--no longer- I'm done with menial tasks-I risen above that --my goofy Dgtr and SIL want to take me to the hospital they are suck babies. They still haven't gotten used to me and how I hardly ever feel realky very good--So their wimpy about everything--I know when to go not them Brats......
And i can't go drunk--I've toasting Dork and hope we hear from her by tom. I miss her.But I'm just glad it's over and she's OK yyaaayy Dork
-
Oh is this me......

-
Yippee! Time to celebrate. My MIL is visiting, so I could use another drink...
-
Depending how long is depending how much u drink Hey we can all drink to that.
-
So true, Cami. Tab, I hope you have enuf likker there! When Junie used to have relatives visit we would send the Miller Lite truck over to park in front of her house for the duration. Then she had a constant supply.
Hoping Sue and Dorothy are just having a great time talking and drinking. AND getting enuf sleep!!! Can't wait to hear from you girls....and see pics!! Remember, you still need to recuperate Dotty.
Night night Girls! Sleep tight! No hangovers at the HTL, so go on and have a nightcap! I'm so tired, so turning in early. Also just watched Asylum......creepy.
Hugssssssssssssssssssssssss,
kathy -
Wahine: Oh, I stopped by the liquor store before she arrived! There's plenty here.
Unfortunately, the @$%&*#! hot flashes woke me up, and I'm having a hard time getting back to sleep. I miss my HRT... I'll spend my time looking for a new drink to share with you. Hope you're all sleeping soundly. -
good morning all, funny how family increases out alcohol intake, ordered wine to be delivered to my parents house
so i'm covered. back in work tonight,so sue keep dorty in line. tab-mil demand a 50% increase in drinking! saw the ro yesterday, everything fine, will see him again in 6 months, yes nm iknow i'm 15 months out from rads but before he changed to nuking people , he was a criticalcare/pulmonary specialist,so i get 2 specialists for the price of one! he always checks the lungs/neck plus he gets scanxeity and does not mimimise it. -
Get plenty of exercise because exercise helps build your immune system. Walk for at least hour a day, go for a swim, take the stairs instead of the elevator, etc.
Wash your hands often. If you can’t wash them, keep a bottle of antibacterial stuff around. Wear a mask when out in public places and avoid going out in public as much as possible while the flu is spreading. Get lots of fresh air. Open windows whenever possible. Get plenty of rest. Try to eliminate as much stress from your life as you can.OR …. You can take the doctor’s office approach. Think about it, when you go for a shot, what do they do first? Clean your arm with alcohol.. Why?
Because alcohol kills germs. So…… I put on my mask, walk to the pub (exercise), I put lime in my Corona (fruit), celery in my Bloody Mary (veggies), drink on the bar patio (fresh air), get drunk, tell jokes, and laugh (eliminate stress) and then pass out (rest). The way I see it, if you keep your alcohol levels up flu germs can’t get you!!!! -
Yay Dotty!!!!! So glad that you are home and doing okay. Rest, relax and recouperate.........an hab a foo dwinkies ebery now an den to make youse feels goot!!.....woohoo!!!!
-
reminds me of Cinderella -
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALLI !!!!!

-
I like your method Julie! That was funnnnneeeeeeee!
Ohhhhh pretty Pumpkin Carriage Cami....after all, Cinderella's carriage DID start out as a pumpkin.....awesome!
Hoping Dorkie got lots of good sleep last night! And Sue, too! ITs awesome that you both are together, and that Sue is there to help out, too. Just don't talk about US, ok? Unless its good chit, that is. You two enjoy each other!!!!
Safe travels today Lori. Hope your appt went well. We leave tamarra, so have lots to do today, also have to get my Dad registered here to vote, since he just mentioned that, late yesterday. Unfortunately it can only be done at the courthouse downtown. I am still getting the upstairs ready in case my DD needs to come here while we are gone...her best friends dad is now in ICU and they don't give him very long.
ANy DOTD for today??? Still not sleeping well, so I need sumtin STRONG to wake up with! Raku, it was nice seeing you back in the lounge yesterday, missed ya! Have a great THIRST-DEY and hoping Dorkster is recovering well.......
