Dorothy, You said it will be quick to file your claim...I am picturing you just hitting the "copy" button, or "ditto". LOL. You might invest in a rear-camera then you could see them before they hit you and then get outta de way. Awwwww.....so sweet about your Peter Bunny Rabbit...and you saw him being conceived even. I don't know how long the gestation period is, though. Maybe you can give him some vegs, like fresh lettuce or carrots??? Glad you got him back to a safe area!!! Stella has been so quiet lately...whuts she bin up to? Glad she did some work for you, at least!
Oh yeah Cyn, I foigot that the BOTD is Miller Lite!
Orla, Where is the island she is selling? When I was in HI, the island of Lanai (well most of it) got sold. That is awful...one of the 7 main islands in the Hawaiian Island chain. When I was looking thru the 1600 pgs of articles from the 1911 magazines online last night, there was an ad for the island of Lanai, being sold. Weird.
OK, CHEERS Junie, this ML is for YOU!
Love, Kathy
-
Kathy, I wanna buy an island and was pricing them a few years ago before rb. For my kitchen, either here or there. And yep, timed the claim process, took three minutes, no kidding. I love Geico but am sure the feeling is not mutual. hehe! I emailed my boss and asked if she can bring me a copy of the police report.
Nice knowing a cop in town. Dude is like 7 ft tall and my boss is 5'10" tall. Peter did move across the house, hopefully he will find his mom. I still have to pull weeds against the house there but skipped that area so that i do not further upset him.
I need to run to the store, less than a mile. I mean drive. My tail pipe is hitting bottom when I back out, will just have to move berry slow. Enuff bout de car, oh my nerves. I did not eat yet, have a lean cuisine in the microwave and the butter is softening, will have bread and butter and a salad. Will top it off with clotted cream. lmao, literately.
I think it would be appropriate to share memories of Junie. She would come crashing in the lounge with a big burp then go on a rampage of cursing over something or another. I remember her freaking over the tornados, she was so scared yet so funny.
wow, just got a call from geico, car will go in the shop on tuesday morning.
-
...and I love how Junie would wear her bike helmet, while in the closet, during tornado warnings. How bout her little pee bottle for the car?
-
lol, i forgot about the pee bottle!
-
To me, the real coup was how she would integrate the "finger" (or the "bird") in photos...had to look for it as she was SO inconspicuous about it. What a fun, sly gal! I'll never forget when we met and had to find a "hunk" and we went up to the Pit Boss and asked him to pose with us. Well, I went up to him to ask. BUT Junie then gave him a cock-and-bull story about how we were going to post it online and he would be famous on the internet! She was such fun......
-
Iz enny1 seeing double yet???
-
lol Kathy, I am seeing double.Love hearing the memory of how our Hunk came to be.
well ladies, I made it safely to the store and back, woo hoo! I had to buy breakfast bars and snacks for work.
I forget who I was telling about my boss and her DH. My boss is, nearly 6 ft tall and he is nearly 7 ft tall, not exagerating! Well I just hocked this photo of her wedding from facebook. You can see how tall she is as she had to lean and squat next to the goils show are standing, isn't this hillarious? And that is her DH in the backgroud, can you find him? He was the police officer at de scene today. Just had to share so you goils believe how tall these people are. My boss is gonna bring me a copy of the police report to work on friedey.

I tried to find the photo of Junie and her DH, I wanted to post it to show you all that Katwinka not kidding. but could not find it. Lori, a job for ye.
rabbit update- when I pulled in my drive coming back from the store, I saw mommy rabbit. I will check in the aye em to make sure baby has moved. that poor little thing, imagine if i hit the nest with my mower? I would def be in Ancora, dat de wackadoo hospital! Glad you made it back home safely, Dorkie. Did the flashing lights and padding all over the car help? Also glad mommy bunny is there, and hope dat de baby bunny is okay. YEAH, I like that pic of Junie too....but my desktop puter crashed b4 I went to HI and all my pics are there. Good news is, my new puter will be here FRIED-DEY (oops, hope it doesn't get fried too!). And then I hope my DD can recover all my pics. Maybe Lori will get to post Junie's picture. I have also enjoyed all the reminiscing of our dear Junie. On Aug 6 last year is when I went to the memorial for her. Very sad, but glad we knew her and even though heartbroken, I treasure my memories of her. So nice that so many of us knew her...and that the newer gals are getting to know her thru us. Raising my ML to Junie....*kachink*

cyn love the tattoo, if your sleep is being disturbed by pain, let the doc know, right now they are all writing prescriptions with the thought will this pass gov scrutiny! you give them a good reason they'll give it to you.we can thank the drug abusers for this, ironiccally they still get their prescriptions. just have this mental picture of junie at her angels bar drinking miller's with a lampshade on her head. -

Good morning, Loungettes! Busy day for me today, a massage in the morning, some shopping for badly needed items, taking Sadie to Aunty's for several days of being spoiled. Got to get packed, got my list all ready to go. Planning to do that this evening or tomorrow as distraction therapy for not having Sadie chasing me around like a puppy dog. Oh, wait, she IS a puppy dog! Hmmm, I better not tell HER that!

Goldie--so what blood work did you have done that cost so much???????? I'm nosy!

ORLA--Sometimes our feelings fools us, especially after an intense session. I'm still praying for you! The swelling after a mastectomy can take months to go away completely, not to mention that some of our tissue redistributes. Very annoying.
BBBBernie--Love the proof that real food and WINE is good for us!!!!!
Juliet--gotta love the way the drug regs prevent drug abuse by people who need them. Remind me to never get hurt in Florida, I'm allergic to all pain meds EXCEPT morphine and diluadid! Sounds like I would have to be in pain if I was hospitalized there since I'm not narcotic dependent. There has GOT to be a better way to deal with this problem than punishing non-abusers who need pain control.
Wahine--I'm sure I'll get plenty of kisses from Sadie when I pick her up next Wednesday. She loves visiting Aunty, but she seems to be excited to get home, too. That's quite a varied list of places to be visiting. Glad your parents look good, hoping things settle in for them nicely.
CynCyn--you'll know a real hot flash when you have one. Mine started out mild, wasn't sure I was having hot flashes, just thought my temperature was up, then I started sweating with them and reallized what it really was. I probably blame some non-hot flashes on hot flashes, but what the heck.
I've got to see how many purses I can find. I wonder if you have to be actually holding them open or if you can prop them open on the ground around your feet for this to work. . . .

CynCyn--GREAT tattoo!
DorKable--I've got rabbits in the area, this is the time of year I start seeing the babies. Mom is around somewhere, baby will be fine. They're mostly vegetarian, baby was probably napping in the shade of the bushes. Just don't' touch him with your bare hands, human scent may make momma reject him. Go ahead and have a good cry, DorKable, it helps relieve stress and you have good reason.
Mema--Junie is a special lady here in the Lounge. I think of her often, and hope she's watching out for us.
Mrs. Vino--I can't imagine what you have us all looking like right now!!!!
Princess Glitter Sizzle's DOTD is the Money Moon
1/2 oz Coconut Rum
1/2 oz Dark Rum
1 oz White Rum
1/4 oz Lime Juice
1 oz Orange Juice
2 tbsp Mango Sherbet
1 tsp GrenadineDirections
Blend all ingredients (except grenadine) briefly with half a glassful of crushed ice. Sprinkle grenadine on top, garnish with fruit, and serve. -
Well, I see I missed a party, as there are 2 additional pages to ketchup on!
LOL, wine women dammit! Cute cute BBBB. The differences in those to 51 year old women is quite amazing. Wow, 4'11" and 6'4"???
Kathy, that is a great car for aDorkable. I thought the same thing about the full moon and the purse. I think someone else came in the lounge and posted that Junie had said that at some point in time. I believe in sharing some memories of her. And I think when holding the purse up to the moon, said "fill er up". Can you leave a note with your moms meds? Reminding her to NOT rearrange the pills? I know that prolly wouldn't work though. Glad they are feeling ok.
Oh Junie would love those cake servers Kathy! Well shoot, maybe I'm wrong about the purse to the moon, as Dorkable seems to remember her talking about it too.
Lara, I don't know, not so sure I want to drive with Dork! J/K tho, I would drive with her. Sweet of you to keep Cyn in pills.
No offense girl, as I know it's not your fault, you hit no one! Your little bunny will be fine, no need to buy food, Peter is prolly munchin on your lawn and weed. Glad the yard work helped to relax you. I think I would be afraid to drive too.
Cyn, if you can't tell that you are having a hot flash, then you are prolly just having a "flush". Hot flashes from chemo induced menopause and hormone blocker on top it, YOU KNOW when you are having a hot flash, as you f'ing burn up, and break into a sweat. I like your tat idea, where are you going to display it?
Talking about the pee bottle, remember how she was complaining that it was so hard to do when they got their new car, as prior to that, had a van.
Alli, you lil sneak, painting us all up!
LOL ProudMary, foy missing a page of posts, blame it on Jose! Sure hope you can git to the bottom of you ickies, that has to just be driving you crazy.
NM, I sawry you are gonna miss Sadie, I'm sure she will miss you too. The blood work was for the pellets.90045-CRP, High Sensitivity........8035-Prolactin.......8065-Vitamin B12 and Folate........803242-Female Profile #1.........803242-FSH.........803242-Testosterone........803242-TSH........803242-T3 free non-dialysis............803242-T4 free non-dialysis.......803242- T3 Reverse......90409-Vitamin D, 25-Hydroxy Total.
I have to have more bloodwork done in a few weeks, for my 6 week check up. Glad that I only had to pay couple hundred, instead of the 1700! Love you face paint photo with the snake..........but that is creepy looking for sure.
Grabbing me some "Money Moon" and I'll go search for pictures.
-
Goldie lol
I gave that limo to doek with the driver see problem solved
I was up since 3 could not sleep lots of weird sounds in the house a ghost>>>>
-
Heeeeeeeeeeeere's Juuuuuuuuuuuuuunie! With her ML!

-
Awwww thanks for posting that pic of Junie and Bob, Lori! You are always so great at knowing where to find the pics. Hoping when my DD gets here, she can rescue my thousands of pics ( have the new hard drive sitting right next to it, just never got around to saving them there!). And YES, thats what she said.... "Fill'er up!". SO tonight we all should do that. And maybe like NM said, we can have some outside just opened, so we don't miss any money!
Well so Orla got up at 3 ayem and thats when I got to sleep! Ended up at the ER late last night as my ankle was excruciating and then I read that you CAN have a broken ankle and still walk on it. Called the nurse line and she said to go to ER and not wait till ayem, as if its broken it already could be healing up in the wrong position. So, had to spend more moola instead of just waiting till the drs offices opened up. STOOPID me, for not thinking of going to the ER when it first happened on Tues. BUT all is well, just took so darn long. They weren't even busy...I think they just like to make us wait, to keep up their reputation! LOL.
Yeah, good advice to Dork, from NM, to not touch the bunny. I remember a Leave It to Beaver epsidode a gazillion yrs ago where he found baby bunnies, and picked them up, then mama rejected them, and he ended up putting powder on all of them which worked, cuz they all smelled the same (or something like that!).
Yummmmm those dwinks sound yummy NM, even with Mango Sherbet! That is something I forgot to eat while I was there....love their macadamia nut ice cream, as well as guava or mango sherbet. Only had shave ice (w/ ice cream on the bottom) ONE time...wuz jest tooo bizzy.
Hugs and Love!
Kathy

OMGGGG they just called I made it to the third round of interviewssss
