When & where? It'll be questionable as her 2nd AC infusion is on the 23rd.
-
Ahh. I really can read. I just saw the when & where for April 25. Sharon says she'll try......the 25th is her birthday.
-
Thank you Eric, I hope Sharon can come. I would love to meet her. Will HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! A nice to celebrate. I will tentatively mark her down. We will have an extra chair at our table if she does not make. I hope she does well with the AC. I have chemo Wednesday. So the 25th I should be feeling better. Hopefully so. They have me on a new chemo I started last Wednesday. It is nasty. But I have had worse.
Cindy Rose, look forward to see you there. Keep us updated. I sure hope you can make it. It has been forever since I have seen you. December to be exact.
Blessings everyone

Rick Here., Cindy is in better . She went to the hospice to that they can get get her pain managed at home. the goal is for the doctor to find what would work and then just order the home nurse to have it in hand just in in case. This is going to make things easier in the long run so that, all they have to do is come here to maintain her pain treatment here. This way she is in here "happy spot" around people she cares about and that help here maintain. She is still having alot of post-biopsy pain, they were not nice in that aspect. Her Mom and I cried when the doctor came out ans said "The initial findings in the O.R. showed no signs of Cancer." then she went on to say "Their is something there that we cannot identify." She sent it to the local May clinic for more testing. Cindy is supposed to do a follow up with that surgeon tomorrow. I have rescheduled it until the 30th as she is in hospice getting her pain managed. I have been there multiple times. I am just having issues keeping here M&M levels at an acceptable rate. I may have to put here on a prescribed dosing for her M&M meds. (little Joke) If you have any questions, and have a way to get ahold of me with out this service, please call. My ego and pride could use your voices of concern. Love and Prayer's always. Rick

It was such a wonderful time at Macayo's. Tracy & Sharon loved hearing you sing. We missed those that could not join us and hope that you can join us in May. Sharon it was awesome meeting you. You looked great for someone who just did treatment on Monday. Hang in there you can do this!!!
-
Cindy Rose, call your home and left a message. I hope you are doing alright.
Sharon it was nice talking to you. Hope your doing good with treatment.
Omaz & DonnaDio have not heard from you in awhile.
I was thinking about finding a school that is doing a play. If not is there something you ladies can think about that you would like to do?
-
Hi Ebann I am still here! Enjoying all the desert flowers. Quaatsi and I are hoping to get together for breakfast soon.
-
Has anyone heard from Cindy, really worried.
-
ali68, I have not heard from Cindy. I did leave a message from Rick & never heard back from him. Last I know of is that she did not have cancer in the lungs. They found this out from the biopsy. She is having problem with breathing and going back & forth to the hospital because of it. That is all I know at this point. Hopefully Rick or Cindy will check in.
Elizabeth
Omaz, Hope you Quassti got together for breakfast. That would be nice. I am looking forward to meeting you someday.

Rick here;
I think there is some confusion as to my last post. The tissue samples "looked" fine at the hospital. There was something they could not identify so they sent the samples to the Mayo Clinic Path lab. We have not gotthe results as of yet. Sorry for any confusion...
As Ever....Just a MAN,
Rick

Am seeking information regarding Dr. Ohdrayco is Scottsdale/Glendale areas. I would like any comments about her from anyone reading this who is familiar with her. Moved to AZ and need a breast oncologist here for follow up appointments after surgery, chemo, radiation. Thank you for any recommendations or comments.
-
I have moved to this area and am searching for a breast oncologist in Phoenix, AZ, for my follow up appointments after surgery, chemo, and radiation. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated -- as well as any negatives. Naturally I would like to know the best doctor in this area. Thank you so much for any replies.

Dr Sharon Ondreyco.
-
I have been going to Dr. Ondreyco since 2008. She is direct & straight forward. Some people like her & some do not cause she is so direct. She is voted for the best Doctor in America, also Phoenix Top 100 Doctors. I highly recommend her & her staff. They would hard to see that you are taken care of. Always get back to me. Can go online to check your results. You are truly in good hands.
-
Rick,
I hope for the best. I had my own scare with lung stuff last month and it turned out not as bad as what we thought. I pray the same for Cindy.
I would love to meet up with you gals sometime! I will try to make sure I keep looking in here.
-
Nora we would love to meet with you. I am not sure if I will be scheduling anything in July. I am leaving for Uganda tomorrow & will be gone until the 16th. I come in that night. So I will need to recuperate from jet lag. If I do it will be at the end of the month. I hope whatever it is that we plan that you are able to make it.
-
Have a fabulous trip!!!
-
Hi All, if anyone from this thread gets together, I'd love to crash sometime! I live in Scottsdale and work downtown. I was dx at 36 and am 7 years in remission! Someone please PM me if there's a get together. I'd love to meet up
I absolutely hated to leave my old onc in NC but my new doctor is Michael Gordon. I've seen him once and liked him, but can't gauge how good he is based on a "yearly visit" with nothing but blood work.

I live in Northern AZ so I only make a few get together's a year but this is a terrific group of ladies. Welcome!

I just found this particular thread, and I wanted to see if anyone had a recommendation for a stellar plastic surgeon in the Phoenix area. I've already had reconstruction but would like to downsize. My plastic surgeon (in North Scottsdale) did not listen to me and opted to use 800 cc implants, instead of the 500 cc size that we had discussed, and they are heavy and uncomfortable. I live in Gilbert but will travel anywhere in the Valley to get rid of these babies!
-
Lise Walker was my BS and she came highly recommended! I loved her!
-
Dr. Lise Walker is awesome, but sorry haven't heard of a good plastic surgeon to recommend.
-
Oh sorry - didnt realize you said PS - read it as you were looking for BS.......
-
Mayo Clinic has awesome plastic surgeon's. I know of two I recommend. Dr. William Casey, & Dr. Rebecca Alan.
Hoping to schedule something in August. Thinking about coffee. Miss everyone. Glad to be back from Africa. It was so surreal. A real eye opener. Everyone should experience a 3rd world country. So blessed to be in America.
